Redeem the time.

For Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law. He became cursed for us. No more legalism.  What a great way for me to begin my day. If u will only repent, you can share in all His promIses. Please do not wait till it's to late. We are not promised tommorow. By the way, this subject.matter comes from the book of Galatians chapter 3 verse 11. Redeem your time while you have time. God's speed.

A comparison !

Good early morning.
The book of Jeremiah chapter 2 : beginning with verse 26.  We find God speaking to Israel through Jeremiah the prophet. Israel has gone astray, again. We find them ashamed. The prophets,princes, kings. God says they are as a thief when he is found. Verse 27 God says they worship their rock and stone gods,idols etc. He knows them. He says when they get in trouble they will call to Him(God) for Him to save them.But the Lord gets sarcastic with them....ask them why don't you call on your gods of rock and stone to save you? God tells them that they have as many false gods as they have cities . Wow! Then God says why don't you plead with me? The Lord has deep feelings for Israel. And Israel hurt His feelings. He reminds them in verse 31 that He has always been their, not a dark wilderness. Oh my goodness. Please continue to read the rest of chapter 2...and then chapter 3. This my friends is all about how mankind, especially God's elect have mi

streated the Lord.
It brings to mind my own life. Over 6 and a half decades. This story is a story of many backslidings and many returns to the Lord. What mercy He has shown me. God even told Israel and Judah is verse 35 that He would plead with them because they said they had not sinned.
God says we have committed adultery with other interest, we have committed idolatry by placing someone or some things ahead of Him. I am afraid this is what has happened to Christ church in America. We must have a new touch of the Holy Ghost. I can recall days past when a backslider would just stop coming to church. Now I believe we have that but many backsliders are coming to church every week. America needs help today. And God is waiting for us to repent...humble ourselves and then He will hear from heaven and heal our land.
He has and continues to forgive and heal Israel and He will His church.God bless and till next time. I love you and So does Jesus who is the Express Image of God. Amen.

Be covered.

Have you confessed your sin directly to God? The Psalmist David had something to say about that. Psalm 32 : 1.
Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, who sin is covered.Do it now,and every day.  Be born from above.

The first action we take.

Good evening. Tonight I would like to just make some comments about the study of idols. Let's look at the first of the ten commandments. "Do not have other god's besides me."
We must regard God. The only real God. We must be reverent.
You must think about idolatry as you decide to worship God. We(man) were made to worship and glorify God. Not ourselves, careers, money,things. Not any other human, animal etc. To make anything the object of one's ultimate affection apart from God is to break the first commandment. It is and has to be God first. As for me...I give God all the glory, for creating me, sustaining me, protecting me,providing for me. To God be the glory. Great things He hath done. The most important deed we can do, is Worship and adore God. EVERYTHING ELSE COMES AFTER. Oh yes, God is jealous of His glory. By the way, NO other gods exist apart from the Lord.
He is the only existing true God.
The God of the Holy Bible.
So come let us adore Him, and worship Him. As you rise and as you slumber,  worship, and be Reverent about it. Amen.

Summum Bonum ?

Good evening. A question tonight. Where do we get our moral compass? Let's assume that we all understand that we each have our own belief system that we live by.  Most will proudly tell you about their's.
So with that said, you base your lifes beliefs in one of 2 systems.
Man's or God's. If not in God's system, then the secular system.
Tonight I declare that I receive and wholeheartedly believe in God's ethical compass. The end desired result of our compass is called the Summum Bonum. In my case biblical ethics I believe in has God's Word as my source of moral authority. I want to please God. Not men. For those of secular persuasion, your source comes from man. Natural mans natural abilities or moral abilities are bleak. Reference  Gen 6:5, 8:21; Isaiah 64:6 ; Luke 18:21;John 15:5 ; Roman's 8:8.
God's  abilities are everlasting,  and lead me to praise Him.
In short, repent and be born again. Then your desires will be to get your ethics from The Lord.
His GUIDANCE is never ending and never wrong for you.Amen.
