To leap for joy.Both petition mingled with praise.

 Good morning. For a moment look at Psalm 70:verse 4. You do not have to wait until your old, if that be Gods plan fo you, to seek him. Or to love His salvation. But going back to the story of the old man in Psalm 71. Look if you will, to verse 1 thru 3. David the Psalmist, in verse 1 praises God for the Trust he can putin the Lord. David knows  God is his Fortress, his deliverer his Rock. In verse 2, David ask for God to deliver him and called him to escape. He asked God to inclined his ear to him and save him. In verse 3, David explains that he continually has this prayer and this request. Today in our lives we should be praying to the Lord continually never ceasing. We can do this of course in sincere fervent prayer in the privacy of our homes. But to do it continually means as you're driving down the road as you're walking as you're working. Yesterday I experienced personally a strong answer to a prayer for my job, for the work I had to perform, I needed strength and believe me out of the abundance of Gods mercy, He gave it to me. It felt awesome. So I must do this everyday. Oh how joyful it is when you know God has delivered you. If God can do this for me, then what do I have to fear, concerning anything else in my life. Look at verse 4 of Psalm 71. David said deliver me oh my God, out of the hands of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man. He can and will do the same for me. You see, the fact that God answers prayer is enough for me. Verse 5 the psalmist says For You Are My Hope Oh Lord God. You are my trust from my youth. Here is a comment from the psalmist acknowledging how long has is trusted in the Lord. Verse 6 David Praises God because God has upheld him from his birth. He Praises God because God is the one that allowed him to be taken from his mother's womb. That should sound familiar to us all. And the last comment of that verse 6, David says as we should, that he will praise God continually. Now once again this is concerning believers of course. This not only is for the psalmist, but we are mortal, and old age and death are sure to come. You cannot and should not ignore this fact. Do not ignore the creator of every living thing. Do not ignore that God came in the flesh, in his son Jesus Christ. Jesus firmly said that he and his father are one, and that he only repeat what his father has said. Jesus also said and he was the only way to the father. Jesus said that he is the way the truth and the life. So when you pray, you must be praying in the name of Jesus. So thank you for reading and I will continue hopefully later in the rest of Psalm 71. At least verse 9. God be with you. Amen. A small footnote. When i know the Lord hears me, i leap for joy.

To be getting older, who gains from the pain?

 Good morning. I know the value of having a great attitude, but i know the difference in flesh and Spirit. Through all my worldly success i never forgot 

reality. Gods reality. He said what does it profit a man if he should gain the whole world but lose his own soul? I found an old man who has been a believer since he was a young man but now he's old and has suffered much through out his life and has been observed by many. Look at Psalm 71 vs 7. The Bible says he was a wonder to people. Why? He had a life long devotion to the Lord. Yet he was not excused from persecution. Maybe it was astonishing how he was delivered from so many previous crises. Wow!  The psalmist for sure was spared to teach the message of his God reference vs 18. Maybe we should not focus on his faults but on our deliverence. Of course he was not sinless. Of course. he could not live with sin not professed. So many have said to me....God is not through with me yet. Now it seems as i am being led through 3 to 4 crisis at time, one by one God is working each one out. What Praise and honor He is due. If you only knew each of my battles, you could see Gods hand in my life. A few days back i actually sat and thought, Oh Father of my lord Jesus, what in the world is your purpose for all this?  All my life i have suffered. From childhood ...to now. Here it is! So God can get the glory. Wow! Seems observers have now begun to WONDER about me. All I've been through and now much more, and I'm still here? Now there's more to this than just my battles. I still glory in my God. The Psalmist is correct. His pain is my gain, and mine is someone's, and to lift up Christ and praise God, give Him the glory for it all is my honor to do so. It's my must. Maybe the Lord will allow me to continue on this subject later. Remember,  just because your born again, you are not excused from persecution. Glory be to God. Amen....so be it.

 

He was there..

 Well now. The providence of God. Recently along with several physical issues i have, i was struck from behind in my auto. Then a couple months later a sickness. Im a Christian so why me. I do not know, but my Father in heaven knew. I dare not question that. His all knowing and then His providential care for me was obviously at work. When i was sick....i was so sick that i lost all concern for my self. People say but you were alone and that concerns us .  God bless u but He was right there all around me. Yes my thoughts later, were where was He when i did not have any cares? Colossians 1:17 the Apostle Paul says of Christ quote in him all things hold together the phrase all things refers to every created thing in the universe see verse 16 Hebrews chapter 1 verse 3 tells us that Christ is upholding the universe by his word of power the Greek word translated means upholding is phero, meaning to carry or bear . Now be right with God, before something happens and u slip into a numb state of mind. Then you can rest assured, that He is there with His providence, even when u are in a state of not knowing. Oh what a merciful God i serve. Showing me grace even when i am unaware. I love Him so. Please...if u are reading this and your living in unforgiven sin, please don't go to that numb unconscious place unrepentant.If i had died i would have awakened in glory to live forever. You to a devils hell. Oh my friend wake up before its to late. That is my prayer for you. Amen.

How do u rate?

 The sermon on the mount. Afternoon friends. Today i ponder as everyday i ponder. What? You may ask.  Picking up my cross. This means different things to different people, BUT it actually means death. Are u prepared to die because you follow Christ and obey Him? Die to your sin, your fleshly desires,  your idolatry. Die to the doctrine that you made up?  Look at Matthews gospel chapter 7: verses 13 and 14.  The narrow way. Jesus clearly says, enter by the narrow gate.  Because this gate is narrow and difficult is the way that leads to life, and few will find it. My friends, this is an obvious mention of people who are religious and believe that their doctrine of coming to Jesus through misinformation concerning bible doctrine will gain them access to the kingdom of heaven. They shout, profess to speak in tongues, cast out demons, heal the sick, raise the dead. Yet in verses 21 thru 23 Christ tells them to depart from Him, He does not know them. Reminds of me many professing Christians. No one ever sees them do this. Yet their claims are endless. Listen  my friends, all the shouting in the world, all the pretense of raising the Dead, all of the calling people to your church by telling him yeah come on and God loves you as you are, then you bring your sin in with you, And church leaders accept them and their sin. Some preachers and pastors who I may know May disagree with my words yet one only has to examine their deeds and you will see it. Some some teachers some are Deacons I dare not say all but way too many. Millions of followers of certain cultic Christian organizations will not enter the kingdom of heaven. Because of their adding words to the Bible or the word of God. Forming their own opinions they teach just what they personally believe, and not putting it to the test of the scriptures. Everyday I go to war with my flesh and with many thoughts in my mind. What man called natural God calls idolatry. What we may think matters only when we lift it up to the Lord and let his words scrutinize it. Is this easy? I dare say it is probably the hardest thing any of us can do. But I dare say Jesus said that if you don't, you will end up going through the broad gate which leads to destruction or otherwise known as hell for eternity. As you struggle with your flesh remember the Bible does not teach that everyone will be saved it does not teach that many will find the narrow way, it teaches that the broad gate will have many who enter in to it. I dare say that as I write millions and millions of people who think they're Christians and who profess to be, are going to go straight through that broad gate to destruction. Why? Because they do not wish to give up the things they love in this world they're therefore  ignoring and putting a hand in the face of our beloved Jesus Christ by denying that what he says in this Sermon on the Mount is correct. Is this you? As the famous John MacArthur the theologian and say it it's about what you practice not what you say. Are you battling everyday with your opinions and where's your desires? If not then you must love the world and the things that are in it and you've made up your own mind that it's your thoughts and Jesus Christ that will get you to heaven. That's absolutely incorrect. My question is how do you rate? Do you meet these standards the Christ himself laid down in the Book of Matthew chapters 5 through 7? You can throw the name of Jesus around all day long sing the most beautiful Christian songs, why you can even practice doing good to others and giving things away and looking after other people, but once again Jesus made it clear what is required and he tells us what will happen. I believe what this word of God says what my Christ said. Our goal should be to seek whatever pleases God. and believe it or not it's right here in the word of God. Do not get caught up in faith in Christ plus something else. Do not get caught up in emotions fake prophecy fake miracles fake speaking in tongues. This would be fraud. Who do you think Christ is talking about when he says it broad is the road that leads to destruction and many there be that find it? Something I failed to mention earlier, is the subject about being alone. I know a little something about that in the Flesh but what about my spirit? Christ teaches that I and or you, must come alone bearing a cross which is giving up the idolatry and sinful things in our life repent and Follow Him. To steal words from a sermon by John MacArthur, where he quoted another man saying these words. the blasphemy of the sanctuary is more awful then the blasphemy of the slum. So get alone with God search his scripture study his words and do not follow  every wind and Doctrine Jesus's words are non denominational but they are the truth the life and the only way to the Father which is in heaven.  This may not have been a popular thing to say, but my friends it's urgent. You want to follow the narrow way so your name can be written in the Lamb's Book of Life. may God bless your soul Amen.

Gods providential preservation.

 Good afternoon. Please note that i love to hear Godly men teach and preach Gods Word. But there is nothing like digging in to the scriptures yourself, if you wish to hear from God. During recent down time due to health issues, more thoughts of Gods sovereignty and my mortality have been on my mind. I so much love this scripture. Psalm 104: beginning with verse 29 thru 31. You hide your face,they are troubled; You take away their breathe, they died and return to their dust. Spirit they are created; and you renew the face of the Earth. May the glory of the Lord endures forever. This my friend has been true forever......and shall continue. As you ponder your worth, and your end, look at psalm 104:33.  I will sing to Lord as long as i live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. May God bless you and keep you all the days of your life.Amen.

To begin with.

 To begin with. To have my son hear me speak, then read me Gods word, is an awesome event. Then as i ponder Christ, i realize i know some who totally disregard our creator. Have their own opinions about my Lord. Wow. I love my Lord and i long for the day he shows the world that he is King...lord of lords. Wow. As i wrote this i can feel the Holy Ghost touching my heart as what to write. The part of my love 4 Him, and His king and lordship. He points us to the Almighty always. Those with self only opinions. Make sure they are passing the scrutiny of Gods scriptures.

Please get in right standing with God...before u have no more chance. There are many shocking revelations in what God has in store for you. Yet they will far out weigh our thoughts. This is as usual....GOOD. A word to me.Titus 2: 1 and 2. Just read all of Titus 2.Wonderful words.

To whom i turn!!!

 As i have been sick, i realize more of my mortality. I expect one day for my soul to separate from my flesh.Until then, Hear my cry, Oh God, attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth will i cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: LEAD ME TO THE ROCK THAT IS HIGHER THAN I. Psalm 61:1 thru 2. Now i want Christ to call for the church to come home. Until He does, i pray. I need my Lord. Amen.

What does this recovering sick man think?

 John 1:1 thru 5.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2....The same was in the beginning with God. 3..All things were made by Him; and without him  was not anything that was made that was made. 4...  In him was life; and the life was the life of men. 5...And the light shineth in darkness and the darkness comprehended it not.

Jesus...the Word...there in the beginning, he was and is the light of the world. Comprehend this. This old man believes this. Christ my redeemer my fortress, my refuge. Me alive???? Its His idea His plan.
