AT THE OTHER END OF MY WORDS.

Cast out the beam of love of the world! Love not the world,neither the the things of the world. Be crucified to the world,and the world crucified to you. Only use the world,but enjoy God. Seek all your happiness in Him!{John Wesley} John was correct.We see marked change in our peace and joy when we find our happiness in Him.Mr Wesley's advice was for us to enjoy God.I just taught a small group of teens in wed. night class. I urged them to do this.To seek all their happiness in Christ. Seek His will for your life.Die to yourself and come alive with Jesus.I let them know that it ain't easy.But i told them the truth. It is a choice. We never know who is listening to us and our advice. You never know what the Lord has planned for them.They must be told that God has plans for them. Its up to them to seek the Lord while he may be found. Everyone may not have the grace i was given. The grace that i was shown during 20 some odd years of NOT serving the Lord.It not to late if your at the other end of my words. Use your faith my friends.....{Joshua and Israel}verse 30 of Hebrews chapter 11. By faith the walls of Jericho fell down,after they were compassed about seven days.That was a tremendous victory. But check this out....verse 31....by faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not,when she had received the spies with peace. WOW! THERE IS A LOT TO TALK ABOUT HERE BUT I WILL MAKE IT SHORT. Both are victories,Joshua obeyed God,a choice.....Rahab the harlot made a choice not to turn in Israeli spies...another choice. Both were being watched intently by The Heavenly Father.Many choices we have. So tonight i pray.Dear Heavenly Father ,forgive me my many sins. Guide me and direct me and help me always make the correct choice.It not to late for me to be used by God.{AMEN}

WRITE MORE INSPIRED MUSIC.

A lady that we should all read about, her name was Frances Ridley Havergal. Born 1836 died 1879. When it was found out that she was ill, her doctor said to her goodbye I shall not see you again. Then she replied do you really think I'm going? He replied yes. Today she asked? And he said probably. Her response was... Beautiful... Too good to be true! But that would be the response of any believer who had honestly said: take my life, and let it be, consecrated, Lord, to thee!This was taken from the book,50 people every christian should know.She was reported that she had a very serious private Bible study.She wrote music.We need writers today who spend more time in their Bibles and they could write more inspired Godly music.

FATHERS OF OUR FLESH.

Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us,and we gave them reverence:shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits,and live? The book of Hebrews chapter 12 :verse 9. Remember this when you attend the house of God to worship him. Reverence in the house of worship or anything pertaining to it is urgent. It starts with the adults concern over this issue.Teach in our classes with children and young adults the importance of worshiping with reverence.God is not the author of confusion and confusion has no place in worship. The Heavenly Father wants us to understand what we are reading in his word,whats in a song service etc.We must act with respect.Be in subjection unto the Heavenly Father.There is a reason for the formalities of a church service.We all had fathers of our flesh that taught correction to us as children and teens.The Lord has given us his Holy Word to correct our spiritual lives.I say respect him and watch our lives improve. He is faithful.Just a short note on whats really important.

LUST IS NOT JUST FOR KIDS!

Interesting study for our young people this week. LUST. What is it.The dictionary has it as this.To have a yearning or desire,a strong EXCESSIVE CRAVING. The Holy Bible says in James chapter 1 verses 14 and 15 that every man is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lust and enticed.And when it is finished it brings forth sin.And when sin is finished it brings forth death. Guess what? I care not how long it has been since you or I began our journey to follow Christ,we still manage to sin. We still lust and we still have to ask God to forgive us. We must understand that the results of sin are awful and deadly. It always carries us farther than we wanted to go and cost us more than we wanted to pay.Atheist can say as they wish,but it changes nothing. If all we had to go by was this subject,there is enough to raise the questions of what to do about it.This brings us to the fact that we have an high Priest that has experienced temptation as we have,yet he knew no sin. (DID NOT SIN)So Hebrews chapter 4:verse 14 thru 16 is what we can and must do to remedy our problem.Go boldly my friend to Gods throne of Grace in Christ name,confess our sins,and we will obtain mercy in time of need.Then hold fast to our profession of faith without wavering He is faithful that promised. Just a little footnote for all. *Lust is not just for kids. Neither is a profession of Faith in Christ.

Do something,feel something.

Much is thought of in the mind of man about whether or not we should speak or not speak, whether we should be involved in the politics of the day, sporting events, for any large event involving the public. Much is said and thought of buy some Christians are unbelievers. Should Christians be vocal? Will give you some kind of thought about it there was a man born in 1847 died 1929 at the age of 82 years old who hardly seemed the type to get involved in controversy. His name was F.B.Meyer. In 1911 the boxer Jack Johnson the world champion was negotiating a fight with the British champion, and this preacher from his pulpit against the fight, also preached to the press and enraged the public and guess what the fight was cancelled! Everybody is not wired this way... And we must seek the Lord's will in our lives as to what he would have us do. Expect opposition regardless of which direction the Lord has you go. If you're silent some will complain, if you're passionate against something or passionate for something opposition will come. I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. That is Scripture taken from the Holy Bible. My feelings, are that whichever way God lead you I'm with you.But feel someway,or do some thing.

We never know who we are talking to.Where they have been,where Gods gonna take them.I say this before we get on out self-righteous high horses. Me....not being judgemental of course!When you teach a class,talk to a bar hopper,an atheist,remember...that could be the next Alexander Whyte!♡ Alexander was born out of wedlock into poverty.His Dad offered to marry his mother but she refused. His dad moved to the USA and served in the civil war and later a business man.Alexanders dad aldo later made contact with him in scotland.They had a warm relationship.In the dads last letter to his son,he said he" prayed all his former sins are gorgiven and that from that time forward he wishes to trust in Christ,the Saviour of the world" Alexander Whyte became one of the most important Christians we all should know.1836-1921.

TIME CAN AND WILL RUN OUT.

For out of his fullness (abundance)we all have received{all had a share and we were all supplied with}one grace after another and spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and even favor and gift {heaped}upon gift.JOHN CHAPTER 1:VERSE 16. For while the law was given through Moses,grace(unearned,undeserved favor and spiritual blessing)and truth came through Jesus Christ.(John chapter 1 verse:17. This pretty much explains the connection with God the Almighty(Christ)in the Old Testament and the New Testament.By this i mean the urgently needed fact of grace. Moral law is not something we can all obey perfectly.The key.....The Lord knew this and settled it on the cross by taking on himself .....our sins. Yes God is gracious to unbelievers as well.This does not mean they are saved. It means they are loved.Yet if they believe not on The Lord Jesus Christ,repent,then salvation is not theirs. Yet for many many years in a mans life God himself shows grace to the sinner. Jesus is just waiting for us to accept him and repent. But time can and will run out.
