Good afternoon, just a little switch in my usual post. Today I must say that I believe I finally figured out a simple concept. I have always believed our nation's politics....the politics of governing,should be mentioned more often in church services. But I know that depends on your congregation. Your teachers and preachers have to have their fingers on the pulse of their church. On the collective beliefs of their church.
If they seem to be politically divided then of course there should not be any direct mention. Just teach and preach God's desires for us,and be consistent with that message. Some churches seem to be united enough to handle politics
From the pulpit.Thats okay. As for me,I believe all Christians should be more involved in the governing of our nation (USA) No person, eligible, should fail to register to vote, and then vote. Our nation depends on this. There needs to be voter I'D. This is the skinny of the issue.You decide.

THESES MUST BE.
Something not mentioned much while preaching....how about 2nd Chronicles chapter 27: verse 2. Sometimes God splits hairs on why He chooses to bless us. We may fail in some areas of our lives but yet all being considered by our Heavenly Father, He chooses to bless us any way. Jotham King of Judah being one such person. Thinking of this, i find two things...#1..This is great to know when it is me it's speaking of then it is great. #2... How about when it may be someone we do not in particular care for ? Well that makes us a different animal. Good when it's us and not so good when it is someone we do not care for. It should make us forgive those we do not like,and always pray for them,and then Thank God for His mercy toward us.These must be.

WANT THAT BE AWESOME???
In every persons life,there seems to be a need to identify with those who lived before us. At least i feel there should be a desire to be curious. No where better than the Holy Bible. Many in this book were ordinary people trying to provide a living for themselves. There were Kings, influential women with power. Rich people poor people,very needy people with disabilities. The world in that sense has changed very little. Consider studying the Bible,not just seeing how much you can read of it. Consider the life of Jotham the King of Israel. The Jotham in( 2nd Chronicles chapter 27:verses 1-9).
Not that much about him but enough. He was the son of king Uzziah,he came to power when he was just 25 years of age.The Bible says he reigned in Jerusalem sixteen years.Most of his reign was spent on fortifying the defenses of Jerusalem and first fortifying the temple.He prepared Israel for the coming battle with Ammonites.
Jotham and his army defeated the Ammonites and the enemy was forced to pay Jotham and the Israelites for years. It made Jotham rich.Okay i said all this to say the following. The Bible says that when Jotham came to power He did what was right in the sight of the Lord,except he did not enter the temple of the Lord. Because Jotham took the path of righteousness,God allowed him to be successful. What is to be gleaned from Jotham's story?
It's this. First...you must not be just a creation of God. You must be His child. You must seriously accept the fact that you are a sinner separated from God by your sin. Some you are aware of and many you are not aware of. But...you must ask God the Father to forgive you for all sin in your life. You can ask Him to show you your sin. Ask forgiveness and repent from the sin in your life. This will make you a child of God, a friend of God, and it will set you on a path.
of righteous thinking and acting. Just as Jotham, believe God and he will allow you to be a success. Expect battles, because they will come. If you must be angry ....be angry and sin not. Doing battle with the devil does not mean we must hate people. Do not ,with intention,hurt people. But remember when you stand with Christ adversity will come. Just take the righteous path as Jotham did. Study Ephesians chapter 4:verse 26, and also Romans chapter 12:verse 18. These are very important. Now to comment on my title.....i am looking forward to meeting my Saviour and then so many of my Christian brothers and sisters in heaven. Want that be awesome?

PREACHING JESUS AND REPENTANCE.
Preaching Jesus and repentance. One of the best ever was the apostle Peter.He made sure the attention was on Jesus and not himself or the other Apostles.Acts chapter 3:verses 11 through 21.
Peter first let the men of Israel know that the God of Abraham,Isaac,and Jacob,had glorified His(GOD'S) Son Jesus.
Peter then reminded the men of Israel that they were the ones that delivered Jesus to Pilate. And that they were the ones that denied Jesus His release , when Pilate was determined to release Jesus.
Verse 14 through 16 we see that Peter also described Christ as the Prince of life that was raised from the dead. He declared that the Apostles are witnesses. Key word.....are....not was.
Then his attention became focused on repentance. Israel must repent and so must we. Be refreshed.Amen.

Hears a Shocker.
God wants us (Christians) to be lights in this world,to lead others to Him.We should pray for our Muslim,Buddist,and new age neighbors,seeking opportunities to share the truth of Jesus Christ with them.Hears a shocker....while we think of millions around the world who have not yet heard the Gospel,and we send missionaries to preach ,teach and aid these people,some of our neighbors,residents of our own communities have not heard the gospel of Jesus.If you have not been born again,realize the penalty for sin(Romans 6:23),then believe Christ died for you (Romans 5:8),
then trust Christ alone as your Saviour.(Romans 6:23b) (Romans 10:13). You can do this if you hear the tugg on your heart by God's Holy Spirit. You may be old or young.....Gods calls all. I pray God's Spirit calls you all,and you answer. Amen.

I BARE THEM NO MORE.
Holy ,Holy,Holy Lord God almighty.Worthy is the lamb,Worthy is the lamb. Just listening to some songs this morning before daylight.
Just having my alone time with the lord. Then what comes natural....sharing. Why? Because out in this world people are hurting,yet most will not even turn to the lord for help. Last night i was channel surfing TV and came across a documentary about demons and evil spirits. Also the famous 33rd parallel that supposedly all along the parallel ,around the world angels of all kinds enter and exit our world through history. So many comments saying once mankind gets educated enough we will fully understand whats happening. Then i start listening to music glorifying my Lord and Savior. I am teaching 2 lessons tomorrow in Sunday School,one is God's covenant with Israel,and the other (if time permits) Obeying God's law. Wow,as i was listening to the music, El Shaddai, i felt the Holy Spirit of God speaking to my heart. Saying worship Him (EL SHADDAI ) He alone is worthy to be worshiped. My first thoughts were of the children of Israel leaving Egypt and camping out near mount Sinai. I thought of the Lord telling Moses to prepare them to meet Him(The Lord),and what all that involved. I thought how powerful our God is as all the smoke,the thunder and blowing of the trumpets got louder and louder. How it scarred the children of Israel.
God is Holy and no man can see His face,and God only came down as far as the top of the Mount. Yet the Lord accomplished what He came down for. He set the Ten commandments to stone before Moses,and Moses shared them with the people. God knew
Israel could not and would not be able to obey all His commandments.God had a plan for all mankind. That plan involved Him having to come here as man and God,shed His own blood for our iniquities or else there would be no Salvation. No Redemption bringing us back to fellowship with Him as in the Garden. So men need go no farther than God's word(The Holy Bible) to find the answers they are seeking to find. I have, and i .....like the song says,have found out it is well with my soul.My sins were nailed to the cross and i bare them no more. Stop searching in the wrong places. Salvation is right in front of your face. Jesus paid it all. Amen.
