Stephens last sermon.

After he was seized, he was full of the  holy Ghost. He stood before the high priest, and being full of the Holy Ghost, was asked were the things he was accused of  true. Man what a message the Holy Ghost gave him. ACTS CHAPTER 7. The Holy Ghost explained how the  Jews had refused all the prophets and the message. How they had murdered the prophets.  How when the Son of God came the did not accept him, and murdered Him as well. The short of this is that in today's world, Born from above people are being slaughtered as well. In America we are being targeted more than ever before. Speak out against sin and corruption and watch the evil come against you. But we must. Do not fear,do not be ashamed of the gospel of Christ our redeemer. Christ is not one of a number of Gods, or prophets,  He is not one of many ways to heaven, He is the only begotten son of God, and the ONLY way to heaven. Amen.

Falsely accused???

Honestly? Have you ever been falsely accused of anything of consequence? Of anything that would cause you to lose something you deserved or needed, or wanted. I have. I once had to file bankruptcy at a time when my wife was pregnant because of it. Not a shred of Truth to any of it.I will have to say...some of my accusers lost their lives, were eventually fired, even contacted me to help them fight the very people they teamed up with , against me. These people ranged from a friend of mine, his wife, supervisors, HR VP....all the way to the top. It took 8 years, then I was Vindicated. From the least to the greatest they all tumbled the same way they treated me. What's this all have to do with the words given Holy Spirit inspiration in the Bible?

I just told this brief story to give you some kind of idea as to an answer to my initial question. The intriguing story in the book of Acts chapter 6. The arrest of Stephen was because some of the men accusers could argue with him because he was full of the power of God and His favor. So what did they do? Since. Stephen was filled with he Holy Spirit, some men were bribed to lie about him.They were saying he spoke things he did not say, or things he did not mean.They took him by force to stand in front of the Jewish council. Before Stephen was allowed to speak..Everyone who sat in the council saw Stephen's face looked like that of an angel. I'm sure it was because of him being filled with the Holy Ghost. To end this short theme let me say, we must all be prayed up, repentant, so we can be filled with the Holy Ghost.So when we are delivered up...if we are...we 2 can speak with power and the unction of God's words to mankind. Speaking and obeying Gods law.Forgiveness and obedience will follow. Nothing on this earth is more important the glorification of God. Thru the death burial and resurrection of Christ I have the forgiveness of all my sins. If you are truly born from above, you will be led by God's Spirit straight to him and His gospel. Good night..i hope because you may wake up in eternity. Cry out to God in remorse so u will be certain of your place in the kingdom of heaven. Not hell.

When death occurs, false accusations will not matter.Gods speed my brothers and sisters, the rest.....REPENT so ur sins will be blotted out.My prayer: I will gladly suffer dishonor, for speaking up ABOUT you.

I will continue to tell the truth about the Gospel...your my Messiah. In Jesus name Amen.

7 chosen men.

Acts chapter 6 verses 1 thru 7. A complaint started this. Widows not being taken care of? Wow. Hellenist against Hebrews. What about other issues of neglect? This particular scripture does not say. The Apostles continued to go house to house everyday teaching and preaching that...notice the wording....the Christ....sin Jesus. I love it. Back to the main topic. 7 men were picked to carry out this business. Some say these were the first Deacons. The word deacon is not mentioned in this scripture. Now of course it is mentioned and other New Testament books of the Bible. But, the Apostle said that it was not right for them to give up preaching the word of God to serve tables. That sounds a little bit arrogant. But is true. There should be many men willing and able, have not been called to preach or teach necessarily that can handle other duties of the church. So in this scripture, the names of 7 men were given, there was an ordination type service, even though and this particular scripture was not called that, the apostles laid hands on these men and prayed for them.These men were full of faith and the Holy Spirit. What followed was much more growth in the church, which were called disciples.The Bible says Priest became obedient. All this....in Jerusalem. What this tells me is that if your not qualified for being a deacon or Pastor...there are more things you can do to help further the Kingdom that belongs to our Precious merciful Savior Jesus Christ. And it will please Him. Don't be jealous, or upset. Everything we do, is for the GLORY of God. Not us. Spread the gospel with what ur given. Brothers and sisters have many needs to be met. Be honored to help. God will bless you. Remember the Jewish spy's that were hidden by a lady...and God saved her life and blessed her actions. The lost world will know that we are of God,when we love one another. Not fight nor backbite with our tongues.Study the 6th chapter of Acts.God bless his church.Amen. 

A prayer:Give your people wisdom to spread your word and meet practical needs .Raise up leaders full of faith and your spirit. Amen.

The Holy Ghost draws

Hello, tonight we have the words of the apostle Peter the 2nd chapter of the Acts of the apostles beginning with verse 38 repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the Forgiveness of your sins  and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. That's very important to know. In verse 39 it says for the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off everyone whom the Lord Our God calls to himself. And with many other words he bore witness and continue to exhort them saying, save yourselves from this crooked generation so those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand Souls. So tonight..received His word. Repent be baptized and get forgiveness for your sins.The Holy Spirit had just fell on the disciples filled them and they began to preach the gospel. 3 thousand souls were added to Christ church that day.God bless.Gods word speaks for itself. Amen.

America...Period.

 Have mercy upon us, O Lord, have mercy upon us, for we have had more than enough of contempt. Our soul has had more than enough of the scorn of those who are at ease, of the contempt of the proud. Isn't this a terrible shape that our wonderful nation of the United States of America is in at this point. Do we really believe are any of the self-appointed leaders of our great nation, are going to escape God's judgement? At least 75 to 80 million voters in America and had enough of the contempt of the proud. Our eyes must look to the Lord our God. Psalm 123 begins with the words to you I lift up my eyes oh you who are in throne in the heavens! Behold as the eyes of servants look to the end of their master, as the eyes of a maidservant to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God till he has mercy upon us. America is in Dire Straits,torn between those who do not regard God's laws or the wishes and desires of godly people. If we confess our sins....killing over 60 million babies since Roe vs Wade. Homosexuality and transgendered people etc.....God will hear from heaven and heal our land. It starts in your homes and reaches sea to sea.  Forgive us oh Lord...in Christ name Amen .

I wasn't there.

 You know, i wasn't there in the book of acts with Peter and John (chapters 3 and 4) when they healed a lame man,over the age of 40. I wasn't there when all the Jewish on lookers approached them on Solomon's porch, I wasn't there when Peter began to preach to these on Lookers, I didn't witness in person Peter making sure they understood and it was not from his power nor John's power, by which this lame man could walk again. He reminded them, seems like every time they  would approach him, about who it was they had rejected and crucified. They also put these men in place about Christ and his position. He would always make sure to tell them they needed to repent. He would tell them to turn back, so that their sins would be blotted out. After that situation was over they were arrested and brought before Council the next day. There were way too many witnesses for the council to just punish them, so they threaten them and specifically told them not to pray or preach In The Name Of This Man Called Jesus. I wasn't there. When I read this scripture about why they were not punished, yet they were warned twice by this Council, Peter and John let them know that they would not obey the council of man, but the counsel of God. Being a born-again Christian this story strengthened my resolve to follow Jesus, and to be ready at all times, to stand up as a man and obey Jesus Christ and not man. Now this can go deeper than that and I have not the time to get into that in my writing. But I'd rather just explain to you how excited it makes me feel to know that I am in good company. The Holy Spirit of God. And that one day I will spend an eternity with the trinity. You can have your ball games and your politics, just don't get idolatrous. If you want to idolize idolize Jesus Christ. Thousands of people saw first hand the resurrected Christ. It is so encouraging that though man is disappointing, winners and losers come and go, whether it be elections or sporting events or job positions etc. I know that whatever befalls me, win or lose, I have something to look forward to that no man can take away from me. My salvation bought and paid for by the only begotten Son of God, no other name given among men, by which we must be saved, and that name is Jesus. And in the fourth chapter of Acts It also says that the council saw the boldness of Peter and John and perceived that they were uneducated, and they were just common men, so the council was astonished so they warned them again not to preach pray teach or anything in the name of Jesus again and they turned them loose. Am I educated unlearned well you be the judge of that. Peter and John made it clear they could only speak of what they saw and heard. Same here. I've never seen Christ but I've had a meeting with his holy spirit many years ago. And I must speak of what I've been shown what I have learned in the word of God. You cannot put a candle under a bushel, and expect to hide it. So I won't. I wasn't there when all this happened in the book of Acts but I was there and a very small Baptist Church in 1965 when after hearing the gospel for at least 4 years, I went to my abiding Place, knelt in private and ask Christ to save me. Ask him to forgive me my sins, come into the innermost Heart of Mine and abide there. Has he always felt welcomed there? Most likely not, but listen up he has said it himself his mercy endureth forever so I must speak of him as often as I can.

AMEN.

Think on this.

 If you are a thinker, think on this. A situation in scripture(Holy Bible) where the Apostle Peter, and the Apostle John, performed a miracle on a man who had laid at the door of the Temple many times, begging for help. The man was lame could not walk. The Apostle Peter lifted the man, and as he did the Lord restored his ability to walk again. Crowds were watching. Peter must have seen some astonishing faces. Peter and John started to walk and as is to be expected the healed man clung to them. The crowd hurried to greet them, and approached the apostles at the eastern side of Solomon's Portico, or porch, which is part of the temple. Then Peter began to preach to them. Peter Saw the amazed look in their eyes. He addressed they're surprise. They looked at Peter and John as if they did what they did by their own power. So immediately Peter began to preach the truth about who's power performed the miracle. He boldly began to lecture them about what they had done to the Prince of Life, which is Jesus. They delivered up Jesus to the Gentiles for trial. They denied him in the presence of pilate. Even when pilate had full intentions of releasing Jesus. They denied the Holy One and the just one who is Christ and ask for the release of a murderer named Barabbas. Wow now in the beginning when I said think on this.... this could have been a normal Act when you think about the fact that these religious Jews saw what Christ was saying, as being blasphemous. After all this man called the Christ was declaring that he was the Son of God the only begotten son of God. Peter recognized that his Jewish Brothers had done this out of ignorance yet he knew that they read the holy scriptures written by the prophets concerning the Messiah. Notice that he called them to repentance so that their sins could be blotted out. Now what  caused me to pick out this particular scripture to talk about. What was I thinking? I was thinking about how hard I have had life, and yet look at this lame man who laid at the door of the temple everyday begging for help. Look at the condition of all the Jewish people who witnessed this miracle. Things could be worse, so I must not pity my own situation without taking into consideration that I can walk and I can ask for forgiveness from my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for I am not ignorant. Like this man and his faith in Christ enabled him to rise up and walk. My faith my repentance of my sin enables me to rise up above any situation I may find myself in. What a glorious merciful wonderful God that I serve. Man may not forgive me but Christ will. All of the scripture came from the book of Acts chapter 3 beginning with verse 11. The key here, is that I should not feel sorry for myself and I must repent always for my sin. And so must you. So be it. Amen
