EXASPERATED?

Good morning world.No doubt the greatest thing a person can do is accept the Gospel of Jesus Christ. But all of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.Most have heard of how he came to earth and died for our sins,rose from the grave and returned to heaven to sit on the right hand of the Father. But in the world today there are many ,i say many people with very suspicious versions of preaching,otherwise known as doctrines. Many desire to worship a jesus that does not judge,or make anyone accountable for their sins. This is why i sometimes preach what i call the full council of God. Today The book of Luke chapter 12:verses 51,52,and 53. In these 3 verses CHRIST makes it perfectly clear what to expect when we follow him.Today i ask my friends ,family and anyone reading this to please desire to know Christ words and expectations of us. Quoting Jesus......'SUPPOSE YE THAT I AM COME TO GIVE PEACE ON EARTH?' I SAY NAY;BUT RATHER DIVISION. Read verses 52 and 53. Christ tells us that many will listen and believe,and many will also listen and be EXASPERATED.....angry ,vexed. Consider this. Christ changes mans heart.The more we learn of him the greater i love and desire to read of him,commune with him,fellowship with his Holy Spirit.Luke chapter 12:verse 34......Jesus tells us (FOR WHERE YOUR TREASURE IS,THERE WILL YOUR HEART BE ALSO.) 2 things i wish to ask today. Where is your heart today as you read this? Have you given your heart to Christ? I hope so. Its our destiny thats at stake hear. But know this,if and when you decide to follow JESUS.......Many will be furious at you,but according to the book of 1st John chapter 4:verse 4 (Ye are of God little children,and have overcome them:because greater is he that is in you,than he that is in the world. Ya know i have to add this,i pray that many more at the reading of this writing,will join the fellowship of believers in Christ my Lord.So that in the words of Jesus,(BLESSED ARE THOSE SERVANTS,WHOM THE LORD WHEN HE COMETH SHALL FIND WATCHING) To those that perish,the preaching of the cross is foolishness,but to those which are saved its the power of GOD.(1st Corinthians 1:18)

KNOWING HE HAS IT!

John Wesley the great man of God,had an experience in life we all should think about. I for one do not pretend to have this same testimony....but i dare say we all should have a real testimony.As kind of an early footnote,i would like to say that reading Wesleys notes and story,even if we are confident in our Faith in Christ and his redemption power,reading his story should stir us up. Stir us by making us pray more,read Gods word more,and study your own testimony. Oh my how Wesleys story makes me say preach it brother! Preach that Gospel in that pulpit as though many at the hearing should feel convicted and repent. Or come to the alter and beg for a closer walk with Jesus.Wesley was a very well known preacher and teacher of the Gods word.But as many know by now he actually traveled the world preaching for years ,not fully confident of his own message about faith. He was quoted as saying' I WANT THAT FAITH WHICH NONE CAN HAVE WITHOUT KNOWING HE HAS IT'He is also said to have said many imagine they have it who have it not.Wesley also said that a person who has real faith is freed from from fear,and doubt,having the love of God poured out in his heart through the Holy Spirit which is given him;which Spirit himself bears witness with his spirit,that he is a child of God.(Roman 5:5 and 8:16) Oh i could go in many directions with this but hear is just one.When you teach,when you preach,never never ever assume everyone within the sound of your voice is saved.They could be a long time faithful church member,you never know. They could think they are born again,yet have no testimony.Nothing to recall from memory about their salvation experience.I personally know for a fact that there are some who have read of Wesley and listened to sermons such as this,and thru emotions come to the alters at church and say they never were saved and declare they just now believed. Both could be correct or both could be incorrect. But this is why romans 5:5 and 8:6 are so important.Be sure as GALATIANS chapter 2verse 20 says." It's no longer I who live,but Christ who lives in me and gave himself for me;and the life which i now live...I live by faith in the Son of God,who loved me and gave himself for me" This my brothers and sisters is what we should have confidence in. When we walk through the day,before every meal,before bed time and anytime we rise from our rest we need to know in whom we believe and know he is able to keep that which we have committed unto him against that day.(2nd Timothy chapter 1 verse 12).

IF I HAVE NOT CHRIST

Good afternoon. Being a christian ...a believer in Jesus and all he represents,having experienced his endless grace and compassion on me i say the following.I say these things as my testimony for Christ.That he lives in my heart and soul by the Holy Spirit of God.I site the book of 1st Peter chapter 1. In this chapter i am reminded in a powerful way how Christ redeemed my soul,with his blood.This chapter lifts my spirits as a believer by reminding me of what God has done for me all these years and what he will continue to do. Loving other brothers and sisters in Christ is mentioned in these scriptures as well. Why......because one thing sticks out at me larger than anything else.Being born again not of corruptable seed,but of incorruptable ,by the word of God,which liveth and abideth forever.That was 1st Peter ch. 1: verse 23. Verse 24 says "For all flesh is as grass,and all glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth ,and the flower thereof falleth away:vs.25 But the word of the Lord endureth forever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you. As i look back at my life ,i see many failures and many succeses. But all are vanity if i have not Christ who liveth.

NOT PC

This morning before i leave to go to church. I will say christians need to read the book of acts chapter 17 verses 22 and 23. Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars Hill,and said,ye men of Athens,i perceive that in all things ye are to superstitious. For as i passed by ,and beheld.your devotions,i found an alter with this inscription,TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship,him declare i unto you. In todays world,false dead gods being worshiped.TV. talking heads all over the place speaking hatred and mockerys about The Lord Jesus Christ.If you put them all together in one house...ask them who they believe in .....before the event would be over they would all say the worship the unknown thing. The unknown god.Millions spewing THERE IS NO God. This chapter proves that Paul was no mushy preacher. What he says in american terms in this century,is definately not political correctness. Well i have to run. Looking forward to going to sunday school this morning at my little church. Talk later.

GOD HONORS IT.

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith,who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross,despising the shame,and is,set down at the right hand of the throne of God. (HEBREWS CHAPTER 12: verse 2) Faith....without it you cannot please God. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering;for he he is faithful that promise. (Hebrews chapter 10:verse 23). Faith...God honors it.

GRACE THAT IS GREATER THAN ALL MY SIN.

Seeing then that we have a great high priest,that is passed into the heavens,Jesus the Son of God,let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities,but was in all points tempted as we are,yet without sin. Let us therfore come boldly unto the throne of grace,that we may obtain mercy,and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews chapter 4:verses 14,15,16.) Let no person,tell you,you need a wordly priest. We have one.We go boldly to the throne and confess to Jesus our sins and our needs.He knows how we feel and the reasons we need his grace.

Its up lifting as you walk by the way during your week.This man loves the lord....and these folks love the Lord.They are so happy when they see people come to the Lords house. We are living in perilous times....yet God is greater than any sin,or evil that comes against his children. There are so many people living by what their own minds tell them. This is why the scriptures tell us not to lean upon your own understanding. Read the Holy Bible and pray. The Holy Spirit will guide you...directly to the Lord. Then its amazing how when we do this...we first see Jesus as he is ...our blessed saviour. We fall in love with him then the closer we get to him the more our eyes are opened and we begin to desire to fellowship with other born again people.I realize that most will scoff,and do not want to agree with God,but somewhere out there are people who need Jesus and his promises. And they hear the words i am saying.Most importantly they hear the door of their heart knocking. When you peep out of your door to see who it is......and you see its Jesus,open that door and let him in.He will totaly transform your heart. Along with your heart it will transform your mind.1st Corinthians chapter 15:verses 9,10,and 11. is a testimony from the apostle Paul telling us how he felt about himself.People.....this is the entire meaning of being saved. By the grace of God i am what i am. A sinner forgiven,and if i sin i have an advocate...someone who takes my case and speaks for me to the heavenly Father.That person is Jesus Christ. Paul speaks of how if this world and life was all we have then we are miserable people. But because Christ lives we live. We live in close fellowship with Christ.And because he is risen we will rise at the moment of death and live forever with Jesus. We can rise up even in this world as we walk here,and have a new life ,putting away the old life. Oh thank Jesus for his sacrifice,and thank The Heavenly Father for making my salvation his priority,his will.I must say this. There are many,especially hiding behind social media charging christians to shut up,and stop judging. Well,listen up,the word of the only true God,the HOLY BIBLE,shows us that that attack has always been around.Look at 1st Corinthians chapter 15 and many other letters of scripture that clearly state That Jesus commands us to go into all the world and preach the gospil. The scriptures clearly show us that even the apostle Paul shamed people preaching false doctrine. So no we want be silenced because Unbelievers are headed to the Devils Hell. They only have this life to get it right. Argueing with unbelievers over bible doctrine is unprofitable.And i do not mean money.The good news is sinners can get fed up with this life and its sin and turn their eyes upon Jesus. They can call on him to show them,teach them...and he will.I know i am rambling on,but this is a matter of the soul. The most important thing anyone can deal with.
