Is it absolutely a must that we be broken in order to come to the Lord as we should??? I wish to say it does not have to be that way.
But it seems in most peoples lives, we see nor feel any need for Christ as long as we are doing okay. Must we keep praying for people to be blessed, know as long as they are they may never come to repentance? These are questions i am asking you.
So many have fallen away, while so many have conformed to the world. Listen i know this for sure. We all are burdened with the cares of this world. As long as we love our sin,and do not repent, we will remain either lost or backslidden. Come to Christ while there is still time. He is waiting for you.Repent and be Baptised. Do not love your sin any longer. Repent of it so you can experience the wonderful grace of God. It will last you forever. Maybe instead of praying for people to be healed or blessed,we should pray that whatever it takes Lord.....bring them to you by the Holy Spirit.
Amen.

THE SIMPLICITY OF SCRIPTURE.
Hello friends....the title of this blog describes the strong calling i feel on my heart to share the Word of God. Many many many men and women world wide show themselves to be scholars in the word of God. Not i. What i read and feel the Lord wants me to speak about,i do.So i attempt to keep it simple.
Look at Psalm 91. An awesome jewel of the word. It explains that we should make God our refuge. Then it tells us exactly what the benefits are. The entire theme is summarized clearly in the first verse. The only place my friend, to find security and protection while you are feeling overwhelmed by problems is to dwell with God. To dwell means(at least to me) to live with the Lord, completely.
I have heard people for years say they do not know what they would do ,without God in their lives. I also feel and think that way.Stop trying to take matters in your own hands, and simply tell the lord to handle it because you cannot. Trust him. Make it his battle.Take it to Him in prayer. Continue to read Psalm 91. It will encourage your heart and life.God bless.

Who wrote the Bible?
The Bible consist of the stories of Prophets, Kings, disciples, apostles, the words of our Lord Jesus Christ himself and much much more.We know that the words were pinned by men. But not just any men. First of all the word is the Word of our living God. Dictated to righteous men by the Holy Spirit. The late Martin Luther said "We must know what we believe, namely, what God's Word says, not what the pope or the saintly fathers believe or say. For you must not rely on a person. You must rely on the Word of God alone" I find it very interesting to study theology among other things, including Bible History etc. Yet to pray and read Gods Word (The Bible), and receive answers and direction from the one who wrote it is an absolute must for me.So who wrote the Bible???
The Holy Spirit. The Holy Ghost. A very good example is 2 Samuel 23:2 Quote from King David. "The Spirit of the Lord spake by me, and his word was in my tongue" Also 2nd Peter 1:21 "For the prophesy came not in old time by the will of man: but Holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. I know my subject matter is who wrote the Bible, but i must add that let us pray that our churches are once again moved by the Holy Ghost. A prayer: As sure as David's tongue was controlled by the Holy Ghost, so the apostle Peter was led by the Spirit to to utter the words that clever men did not write the Bible but the Spirit of God directed these men to speak, so Lord continue to lead us by the words from the Spirit, and not ours.Amen. So be it.

WHEN WE PRAY,WHO ARE WE DEALING WITH?
Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctified to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
Hebrews chapter 9:verses 12,13,14. The point being....How much more shall the blood of CHRIST... PURGE OUR conscience from dead works to serve the living God? We are dealing with the Christ that gave his blood to obtain our redemption. Without his blood there could never be redemption for us,. Redemption to be seen by God the Father as we were seen before the fall of man. We must not reject Christ's sacrifice. Please do not love your sin so much that you scoff the Lord's shedding of blood for you.As i am learning in the last years of my life, it's not to late for His Holy Spirit to continuously point me to Christ, and teach me the meaning of his word.

ALL THIS SCRIPTURE FOR OUR ENCOURAGEMENT.
I am intrigued by the lives of the men and women of the scripture. Their faith there obedience, and their mistakes. Joshua is one such man.God told him "Moses my servant is dead" Then began to remind Joshua of the importance of following the law God had handed down to Moses.Things have changed since those days, but much is to be gleaned from this man and his leadership over Israel. The promises of God to Joshua, and the encouragement given by God.And of course the commission God intended Him to carry out.But read the first 9 verses of the book of Joshua and learn. The writers of the
Scofield Bible point out that the book of Joshua is the Ephesians of the old testament.I agree. I want to end my blog by showing unsaved people as well as reminding believers of the fact that the law that Moses and Joshua represented never did and never will give sinful people victory.Read (Heb chapter 7:19) also Romans 6:14,and Romans 8:verses 2 thru 4. Jesus did not come to destroy the law,but that the law should be fulfilled.) What the law could not do JESUS CHRIST DID). Matthew chapter 5:verses 17 thru 20. God bless you all for following my blogs. Hope to meet you in Heaven .

DON'T BE.
That old subject of love. Bored with it? Don't be. 1st john chapter 4:verse 17.
Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgement: because as he is, so are we in this world. 1st John chapter 4: verses 19 and 20,We love Him because He first loved us.
If a man say, I love God,and hateth his brother,he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen. Verse 21...And this commandment have we from him,That he who loveth God love his brother also.
I say that all i speak of in my blogs i say with love for my brothers and sisters.

DON'T MISS THEM.
It's awesome to read about saints of old, when i am getting old. To see that so many were not burdened down by a lack of Faith, but the ability to Trust, pray and then rest in the arms of Jesus for Life and eternity. One such man was a brother named J Hudson Taylor...
1832-1935. Oh my goodness this brother was trained in medicine but was not a doctor. He did Pastoral work but was not ordained.
Believe it or not in this modern world of America, we seem to have a shortage of Pastors in many churches. Is the bar set so high that only a select few can ever attain the office of an ordained anything in the local church? My personal belief at this time is yes. Will i live to see this changed in my country? This i do not know.....but.... i'd rather stand by or kneel by a man i know is redeemed from His sin of the flesh, than 20 men ordained yet living a hidden life contrary to the will of God for a particular church. Think on this if you have the courage. Many men in Biblical Scripture today's jealous deacons and Pastors would never ordain. I did not write this to speak badly of ordained Ministers,or deacons. I have close family that are pastors and friends that are deacons. Since when do we shun and discourage men from leadership roles in our churches that we know their Spiritual qualifications are very very solid, yet we push to the front men that are unlearned in God's word and some are sexually permissive, but they brag on how they have only been married to one women their entire life?
This is a very strong blog i know, and its been long overdue. By the way every time i speak with pastors, they bring up the subject that there is a tremendous shortage of Pastors and deacons. Something to think about. 0ver 50% of all marriages in America today end in divorce and Lord only knows how many people have married and divorced several times. Educated clergy i think is a very wise thing to have. Many of our Preachers historically dating back hundreds of years had formal educations. But we are building a church world that only Preachers with college degrees are welcome. That is wrong. We need to watch our converts and learn them. Believe me we can see if your qualified by the life you NOW live and how much you may or may not love Jesus. We must get back to qualifying our church leaders in the true fashion of our forefathers .Men like J Hudson Taylor and even Dwight Moody. God calls all sorts of men, from all backgrounds.Don't miss them !!!
