No shortage.

Good morning. Sorry that lately i have been teaching quite a lot at church....Parts of Ephesians and Galatians in the New Testament.
Glad to take a little break here to enjoy a little blogging.
I am being taught the word of God as i share with others. I do not pretend to be a theologian, in other words an expert on religion.
I share the gospel,i share the letters of Apostles, some Old Testament...parts of it etc. I also learn the differences in flocks of people in the church house. I also learn the similarities of many of the people as far as the level of their closeness with Christ. I am not fooled very easily. I learned that first impressions are not lasting impressions, if you hang around a while. In small churches there is a definite need for proper order. In smaller churches any issue of unsound doctrine,You know ,the kind that is contrary to what the Apostles taught. You know, the kind that warrants comments like "LET THEM BE ACCURSED."
I have learned that there is no shortage of experts in the realm of teaching ,preaching,music,and some with very smooth words. WOW!  I must try and turn these people in the correct direction. I believe the scripture clearly teaches that. Yet...what if it does not work? I tell you sternly, this would be when being honest ,candid, and prepared to lose these people is appropriate. If small churches are to ever flourish these issues must be dealt with. Tolerance seems to be what Satan is pushing these days, and its stunning to see Satan with such a strong hold in small flocks these days. Its very difficult to keep ones cool when speaking with these kinds of people. No common sense seems to be present. Just stay in prayer about it and The Lord will lead you in how to handle it. These kind of things are very educational and i must keep pressing on sharing the word of the Lord. Doing things in order and decent. I guess the most obvious thing is how deep seated these problems are. In the business world we would say" Better hiring means less firing" So better screening of potential church members,then later, better screening of potential leaders in the church.  So for me to end this topic,let me say as The Apostle Paul would say,"I give thanks to my God for every remembrance of you.  May the grace of God remain with your spirits. HAPPY AND PEACEFUL 2019.

Man needs some supernatural thing beyond himself to follow.
Just look and listen to people. If...people cannot find it, then they will create one. Even atheist believe in something. Their religion is the belief of themselves,in themselves. Repent of your sin,and come to Jesus. Be as the apostle Paul says in 1st Corinthians quote "For i determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ,and Him crucified." Happy and safe and prosperous New year and please do not wait to receive Christ,you may only have one chance.

THE STORY OF TWO SONS.

In 1739 a small group of men decided to meet 3 or 4 times reading certain things that at the time were known as classics.Then on Sundays they would read a book on Divinity.( how religious).
One of the men i believed had seen the need to visit a man in Prison who had killed his wife.How many would dare care to do that?
This man felt strongly that anyone trying to reach this murderer, WOULD, do much good.wow.Oh i can just hear the remarks of most people today about that one.
But anyhow, this group of men did go twice a week.
From this visitation they were ask to go see a lady who was very sick. So it began to be something to be set aside a couple times a week to do.
Awh but yet one of the men wrote his dad to get advice.
The advice was this....(the mans dad was 70 yrs old.)
" I have the highest reason to bless God that He has given me two sons together at Oxford ,to whom He has given grace and courage to turn the war against the world and the devil, which is the best way to conquer."I have to say....the mans dad approved greatly with what his sons group was doing.
Some points to think about.
The Dad blesses God for the things these young men were doing.
How many realize we are at war with Satan and this world?

CHRISTMAS 2018.

Good afternoon from the USA. Its Christmas time again. Wow it comes so fast. Guess what? The end of our lives in the flesh comes even faster. So for that reason,we must look to the reason for the season. Christ, or Jesus if you prefer. Immanuel......God with us.

He is the way ,the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Heavenly Father unless they come to Christ first. Now that should satisfy the entire world concerning just any kind of religion. 

From Mary,Jesus received His human nature, and from God's Holy Spirit He received His divine nature. Aren't you glad? 

Christ birth has been mentioned so many times in the Old Testament,

and then it was fulfilled in the Gospels of the New Testament.

I just want to celebrate the birth of Christ, and be ever mindful of what He came to do. The Hebrew name ,Joshua, means Savior. 

For He will save His people from their sins. Meaning to prevent them from failing and missing the true end and scope of life,which is God. This prediction in Isaiah chapter 7:vs 14 had come to pass.

Good morning. The following are excerpts from the life,times,and preaching of Bro. John Wesley. For you Pastors, teachers, who think you have it hard
May 7th,1738
Preached at one church in the Am...then later at another.
I had liberty to speak strong words at both. Then was informed I was not to preach anymore in either of those churches.

Sunday May14th....I preached in the am, then again in the afternoon.   I preached free salvation by faith in the blood of Christ.
I was quickly apprised that I am never to preach in these churches again.

On Friday the 19th of May, I preached at 2 more churches,and likewise I am to preach no more there as well.

Many more examples were written about. Some preaching was greeted by hostile organized crowds.
So you see, preaching has never been easy. All these examples were so called clergy.

I wish you all God's speed in your ministry, and never compromise.

MORE LIKE JESUS.

Two things interest me this afternoon. Bad weather forced me to deal with a lost internet beginning this morning until now. As was doing other chores around the house, personal issues, i will not say attacks,because some people just jump on the ride when its funny,ha ha. came to my mind. Listen up ,i have been guilty of it as well. I wish to share with you that every time i may feel these thoughts coming  on, i feel the Holy Spirit begin to remind me of my own sin.
Yep.....my own sin, and He tells me to deal with mine. BUT GUESS WHAT?  He also wants me to share mine. Oh my gosh. This keeps me from being a judge. He forces me to look at my listeners with more compassion and understanding.In other words more Christ like. The Father ,Son,And the Holy Ghost are real and we must deal,then when we do ,He will teach us all things we must say and share. Now let me move on to the next blog.Thank you so much for allowing me to speak to you.

Shallow non saving faith....wow imagine that. I have spoken with a few professing christians about this very subject. Some close family.
Many many many church goers that seem to have no interest in talking about our Lord etc. I cannot seem to find much interest.Have i been there before? Absolutely yes. All you have to do is love the world more than Jesus. Many do not mind being  obnoxious about material things, but seem to think joy in the lord is to much. Okay, then i will continue in the joy the lord has provided to me,even till people get tired of it. Fair enough?
Unless you believe in vain the message of the resurrection,of which you were saved, then you will understand my disgust in the actions of so many in the church that i know. Even in marriage the men teaching the women at home, or women marrying unsaved men that show no interest in hearing the gospel from their wives. It can be discouraging. But we must push on.In the book of James the 2nd chapter and the 19th verse,it's clear the demons are very orthodox and conservative in their beliefs of the scripture. Why? Well because they know Jesus and refuse to follow Him.  they believe as well as non saving grace people,who believe but have no real love for God, Christ, or righteousness.References....Matt 7:13,14,22- 27, chapter 13: 24-30, etc.
2 things....know your saved,then love God ,Christ, and righteousness. Amen.
