BE THAT FAMILY.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving day,i did. I did something i haven't been able to do in years. I was invited to one of my small churches elderly family home. The food was so awesome,the fellowship was even better.I understand this man and his wife have been serving God for at least as long as i have been alive.Oh my goodness.Their home was so cozy,with pictures all over,their kids and their kids all over the place. And yet in the middle of the meal the elderly man seemed concerned their would not be a plate for his neighbor.His neighbor just lost his parents (that he lived with) and this precious brother who is 82 years old was very concerned for his neighbor.My goodness!!!!!! I remembered the Bible says love thy neighbor as thyself.By the way. This elderly host,has polio,has had a life time of it,and yet he has pastored many churches over his life time. His wife is awesome as well.They both get around with walkers with wheels. They still drive to church 3 to 4 times a week. Oh my what an example. I've learned to love this family and i pray The Lord continue to use them in this world. They have great kids,and grandkids. The house was full and the food was great in taste and the amount.What is Thanksgiving in America? Oh to be born here and to worship the one and only living God. But in our country we have strayed from actually caring about what the heavenly Father thinks about how we live our lives.He was very strict on the people of Israel. He was involved in their social life,what they ate etc. Read the book of Leviticus chapter 20.Chapter 21 as well. Oh my,where did the fear of the Lord go in this nation. Will he have to allow our ememies to over take us before we will bow our hearts knee to his wishes?Is it happening now? Just look at the homosexual mess,the unlawfulness of so many. Look at the medias exploitation of all the evil and corruption going on in our government and in the streets.Ignoring the peaceful God fearing law abiding citizens of our nation. Our media has become propaganda!Wow. But i assure you,The Almighty has his eyes upon the children of men. He will not strive forever with sinners. Time? Let me say this. He will do everything on HIS TIME not ours.Our lives to God are like moisture that is here then vanishes and then more moisture comes ,it vanishes and so on and so on.When you consider yourself today,CONSIDER God and what he likes and does not like. The family i visited yesterday makes it obvious they Love the Lord,and care about what he cares about.Be that family.
