DID HE JUST CALL US FOOLS? ONLY SOME.....

Oh my goodness... Brother James was very upset! In the book of James the second chapter beginning with verse 20 and going through verse 25 let's make that verse 26. Well here we go. You fool! Do you have to be shown that Faith which does nothing is useless? Did your ancestor Abraham receive God's approval as a result of what he did when he offered his son Isaac as a sacrifice on the altar? You see that Abraham's faith and what he did work together. His faith was shown to be geniune by what he did. The scripture passage came true. It says Abraham believed God and that faith was regarded as the basis of Abraham's approval by God. So Abraham was called God's friend. You see that a person receive God's approval because of what he does not only because of what he believes. The same is true of the prostitute Rahab who welcomed the spies and sent them away on another road. She received God's approval because of what she did. A body that doesn't breathe is dead. In the same way Faith that does nothing is dead. Oh my... I guess this just about says it all. These words by the Apostle James we're pretty stout. A true born again Christian lives out his or her faith. I've heard many arguments about this over the years. Some say that the phone the cross didn't have a chance to do this so he could not have been saved. Wrong because he acted on his faith when he spoke to Christ. You cannot just merely sit on your Duff and say nothing do nothing. When the Holy Spirit enters the soul of a man he brings that soul to life. Then the Regeneration of this person begins. A prayer I show my face buy good things I do through faith and actions working together. My good deeds prove my beliefs are genuine. Oh Lord give me a living faith!
