In 1739 a small group of men decided to meet 3 or 4 times reading certain things that at the time were known as classics. Then on Sundays they would read a book on Divinity.( how religious).
One of the men i believed had seen the need to visit a man in Prison who had killed his wife. How many would dare care to do that?
This man felt strongly that anyone trying to reach this murderer, WOULD, do much good.wow.Oh i can just hear the remarks of most people today about that one.
But anyhow, this group of men did go twice a week.
From this visitation they were ask to go see a lady who was very sick. So it began to be something to be set aside a couple times a week to do.
Awh but yet one of the men wrote his dad to get advice.
The advice was this....(the mans dad was 70 yrs old.)
" I have the highest reason to bless God that He has given me two sons together at Oxford ,to whom He has given grace and courage to turn the war against the world and the devil, which is the best way to conquer."I have to say....the mans dad approved greatly with what his sons group was doing.
Some points to think about.
The Dad blesses God for the things these young men were doing.
How many realize we are at war with Satan and this world?

CHRISTMAS 2018.
Good afternoon from the USA. Its Christmas time again. Wow it comes so fast. Guess what? The end of our lives in the flesh comes even faster. So for that reason,we must look to the reason for the season. Christ, or Jesus if you prefer. Immanuel......God with us.
He is the way ,the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Heavenly Father unless they come to Christ first. Now that should satisfy the entire world concerning just any kind of religion.
From Mary,Jesus received His human nature, and from God's Holy Spirit He received His divine nature. Aren't you glad?
Christ birth has been mentioned so many times in the Old Testament,
and then it was fulfilled in the Gospels of the New Testament.
I just want to celebrate the birth of Christ, and be ever mindful of what He came to do. The Hebrew name ,Joshua, means Savior.
For He will save His people from their sins. Meaning to prevent them from failing and missing the true end and scope of life, which is God. This prediction in Isaiah chapter 7:vs 14 had come to pass.
I will be sharing this in more detail,in Sunday School This coming Sunday. Go to Sunday School if you can. If you do not care for it where you go, then come to mine. Many of you know where it is. You are welcome. God bless.Merry Christmas.....and Happy New year.

GODS SPEED.
Good morning. The following are excerpts from the life, times, and preaching of Bro. John Wesley. For you Pastors, teachers, who think you have it hard
May 7th,1738
Preached at one church in the Am...then later at another.
I had liberty to speak strong words at both. Then was informed I was not to preach anymore in either of those churches.
Sunday May14th....I preached in the am, then again in the afternoon. I preached free salvation by faith in the blood of Christ.
I was quickly apprised that I am never to preach in these churches again.
On Friday the 19th of May, I preached at 2 more churches, and likewise I am to preach no more there as well.
Many more examples were written about. Some preaching was greeted by hostile organized crowds.
So you see, preaching has never been easy. All these examples were so called clergy.
Other
I wish you all God's speed in your ministry, and never compromise.

MORE LIKE JESUS.
Two things interest me this afternoon. Bad weather forced me to deal with a lost internet beginning this morning until now. As was doing other chores around the house, personal issues, i will not say attacks, because some people just jump on the ride when its funny,ha ha. came to my mind. Listen up ,i have been guilty of it as well. I wish to share with you that every time i may feel these thoughts coming on, i feel the Holy Spirit begin to remind me of my own sin.
Yep.....my own sin, and He tells me to deal with mine. BUT GUESS WHAT? He also wants me to share mine. Oh my gosh. This keeps me from being a judge. He forces me to look at my listeners with more compassion and understanding. In other words more Christ like. The Father ,Son,And the Holy Ghost are real and we must deal, then when we do ,He will teach us all things we must say and share. Now let me move on to the next blog.Thank you so much for allowing me to speak to you.

Unless you believe in vain.
Shallow non saving faith....wow imagine that. I have spoken with a few professing christians about this very subject. Some close family.
Many many many church goers that seem to have no interest in talking about our Lord etc. I cannot seem to find much interest.Have i been there before? Absolutely yes. All you have to do is love the world more than Jesus. Many do not mind being obnoxious about material things, but seem to think joy in the lord is to much. Okay, then i will continue in the joy the lord has provided to me,even till people get tired of it. Fair enough?
Unless you believe in vain the message of the resurrection,of which you were saved, then you will understand my disgust in the actions of so many in the church that i know. Even in marriage the men teaching the women at home, or women marrying unsaved men that show no interest in hearing the gospel from their wives. It can be discouraging. But we must push on.In the book of James the 2nd chapter and the 19th verse,it's clear the demons are very orthodox and conservative in their beliefs of the scripture. Why? Well because they know Jesus and refuse to follow Him. they believe as well as non saving grace people, who believe but have no real love for God, Christ, or righteousness.References....Matt 7:13,14,22- 27, chapter 13: 24-30, etc.
2 things....know your saved, then love God ,Christ, and righteousness. Amen.

2018...2019???
Yes this is 2018,almost 2019. And i find myself having to refresh my mind and heart with scripture about the role of women in The church. I have found at least seven scriptures making it clear as crystal what a womens role in the church cannot be. Read them and weap, or repent of your understanding. Hear are just a few.
1st Timothy 2:12
1st Corinthians chapter 11:verses 7 thru 9.
1st Corinthians chapter 14:verses 32-35.
1st Corinthians chapter 11:verse 3.
Ephs chapter 5:verse 22.
1st Peter 3:5.
Genesis chapter 1: verse 6.
I see no disrespect in any of these scripture writings.
What i do see is that if i as a man try to rewrite the rules given by scripture concerning a womens submission to the authority of men ,given them by the bible, then i am sinning by disregarding God's rule of law passed down From Genesis thru the new testament. It is only when men become scared of women and their personal desires,do they surrender. We must not,IF, we intend to be in God's will. Sorry ladies. We love you and we respect you.
Men have their roles and women have theirs. I must say also that i have been very weak on this issue myself ,over the last few years. But, upon actually studying the word of God, i have repented of my wrong opinion. I must surrender my wrong way of thinking. I must also give an observation that iv'e noticed in many modern preachers.
They have become cowards concerning This issue. They rattle in their shoes over any hint of female confrontation. Ladies have many roles and i love sharing with them, and hearing what they feel concerning our Lord. God bless and i say all this with Love.
Amen.
P.S.
If we use God's order in God's house, then The Lord will see and bless beyond degree.

I BEG YOU.
What good is a parable. They were done for a reason. Christ did them to separate the good people from the evil people. In Matthew chapter 13 verses 10 through 15. Jesus also teaches us in Matthew
chapter 13 verses 24 through 30 that the kingdom of heaven is like a man planting good seed in his field and yet while he slept his enemy came and planted tares among the wheat. So when the wheat sprung up,so did the tares. So servants of the household ask if they should go and reap the tares up . The owner of the crop told the not to harvest the tares because, they may also root up the wheat. The owner said let them grow together until the harvest. At the time of the harvest i will say to the reapers gather ye the tares bind them up
in bundles to burn them. But gather the wheat into my barn.
People please listen up i beg you. You could be a tare running loose in the world with Christians all around you, or you could be in church and still be a tare not understanding the word of God. When Christ returns you will be left behind. Get on the alter at home or church. Confess that you realize you are a sinner, turn (repent) from your wicked ways ask Christ to forgive you, accept him as your lord and savior and do not be left behind. He is coming soon and His wheat will be snatched out of this world and the tares (unbelievers)
will be left to be burned up in Hell. This is just one small parable Jesus spoke. I beg you please listen. AMEN.

AS MUCH AS IS WITHIN US.
Good afternoon from the United States of America.Year of our Lord 2018. Today in America we see Media placing front and center on our Televisions, Civil disobedience. I am reminded of the book of Romans chapter 13 verses 3 and 4. It's a simple explanation for our citizens in the street creating unwarranted violence. In order to RESIST at all cost ,so they claim.Of all the people.....The Apostle Paul,(the writer of the book of Romans) who himself has had his share of brushes with local and national authorities, has written by the authority of the Holy Spirit. To tell us civil authorities are not a terror to people of good conduct. But to those of bad behaviour. Paul says we will have no dread of him if we do right. And we also will receive approval and commendation from the authorities for doing good. In verse 4 of chapter 13 it says the authorities are God's servant's for our good. The Bible warns us here that they do not bear and wear his sword for nothing. In today's world it would be called his Pistol, rifle, or just weapon. I am very shocked sometimes to find out that many are not aware or even told how God expects people, especially his believers to remember how to act out in our thoughts about civil authorities. Oh my goodness, please read the entire Romans chapter 13.Listen to these subject matters in this chapter.
#1...Governing authorities
#2...Paying taxes
#3...Handling debt

Must we be broken?
Is it absolutely a must that we be broken in order to come to the Lord as we should??? I wish to say it does not have to be that way.
But it seems in most peoples lives, we see nor feel any need for Christ as long as we are doing okay. Must we keep praying for people to be blessed, know as long as they are they may never come to repentance? These are questions i am asking you.
So many have fallen away, while so many have conformed to the world. Listen i know this for sure. We all are burdened with the cares of this world. As long as we love our sin,and do not repent, we will remain either lost or backslidden. Come to Christ while there is still time. He is waiting for you.Repent and be Baptised. Do not love your sin any longer. Repent of it so you can experience the wonderful grace of God. It will last you forever. Maybe instead of praying for people to be healed or blessed,we should pray that whatever it takes Lord.....bring them to you by the Holy Spirit.
Amen.

THE SIMPLICITY OF SCRIPTURE.
Hello friends....the title of this blog describes the strong calling i feel on my heart to share the Word of God. Many many many men and women world wide show themselves to be scholars in the word of God. Not i. What i read and feel the Lord wants me to speak about,i do.So i attempt to keep it simple.
Look at Psalm 91. An awesome jewel of the word. It explains that we should make God our refuge. Then it tells us exactly what the benefits are. The entire theme is summarized clearly in the first verse. The only place my friend, to find security and protection while you are feeling overwhelmed by problems is to dwell with God. To dwell means(at least to me) to live with the Lord, completely.
I have heard people for years say they do not know what they would do ,without God in their lives. I also feel and think that way.Stop trying to take matters in your own hands, and simply tell the lord to handle it because you cannot. Trust him. Make it his battle.Take it to Him in prayer. Continue to read Psalm 91. It will encourage your heart and life.God bless.

Who wrote the Bible?
The Bible consist of the stories of Prophets, Kings, disciples, apostles, the words of our Lord Jesus Christ himself and much much more.We know that the words were pinned by men. But not just any men. First of all the word is the Word of our living God. Dictated to righteous men by the Holy Spirit. The late Martin Luther said "We must know what we believe, namely, what God's Word says, not what the pope or the saintly fathers believe or say. For you must not rely on a person. You must rely on the Word of God alone" I find it very interesting to study theology among other things, including Bible History etc. Yet to pray and read Gods Word (The Bible), and receive answers and direction from the one who wrote it is an absolute must for me.So who wrote the Bible???
The Holy Spirit. The Holy Ghost. A very good example is 2 Samuel 23:2 Quote from King David. "The Spirit of the Lord spake by me, and his word was in my tongue" Also 2nd Peter 1:21 "For the prophesy came not in old time by the will of man: but Holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. I know my subject matter is who wrote the Bible, but i must add that let us pray that our churches are once again moved by the Holy Ghost. A prayer: As sure as David's tongue was controlled by the Holy Ghost, so the apostle Peter was led by the Spirit to to utter the words that clever men did not write the Bible but the Spirit of God directed these men to speak, so Lord continue to lead us by the words from the Spirit, and not ours.Amen. So be it.

WHEN WE PRAY,WHO ARE WE DEALING WITH?
Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctified to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
Hebrews chapter 9:verses 12,13,14. The point being....How much more shall the blood of CHRIST... PURGE OUR conscience from dead works to serve the living God? We are dealing with the Christ that gave his blood to obtain our redemption. Without his blood there could never be redemption for us,. Redemption to be seen by God the Father as we were seen before the fall of man. We must not reject Christ's sacrifice. Please do not love your sin so much that you scoff the Lord's shedding of blood for you.As i am learning in the last years of my life, it's not to late for His Holy Spirit to continuously point me to Christ, and teach me the meaning of his word.

ALL THIS SCRIPTURE FOR OUR ENCOURAGEMENT.
I am intrigued by the lives of the men and women of the scripture. Their faith there obedience, and their mistakes. Joshua is one such man.God told him "Moses my servant is dead" Then began to remind Joshua of the importance of following the law God had handed down to Moses.Things have changed since those days, but much is to be gleaned from this man and his leadership over Israel. The promises of God to Joshua, and the encouragement given by God.And of course the commission God intended Him to carry out.But read the first 9 verses of the book of Joshua and learn. The writers of the
Scofield Bible point out that the book of Joshua is the Ephesians of the old testament.I agree. I want to end my blog by showing unsaved people as well as reminding believers of the fact that the law that Moses and Joshua represented never did and never will give sinful people victory.Read (Heb chapter 7:19) also Romans 6:14,and Romans 8:verses 2 thru 4. Jesus did not come to destroy the law,but that the law should be fulfilled.) What the law could not do JESUS CHRIST DID). Matthew chapter 5:verses 17 thru 20. God bless you all for following my blogs. Hope to meet you in Heaven .

DON'T BE.
That old subject of love. Bored with it? Don't be. 1st john chapter 4:verse 17.
Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgement: because as he is, so are we in this world. 1st John chapter 4: verses 19 and 20,We love Him because He first loved us.
If a man say, I love God,and hateth his brother,he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen. Verse 21...And this commandment have we from him,That he who loveth God love his brother also.
I say that all i speak of in my blogs i say with love for my brothers and sisters.

DON'T MISS THEM.
It's awesome to read about saints of old, when i am getting old. To see that so many were not burdened down by a lack of Faith, but the ability to Trust, pray and then rest in the arms of Jesus for Life and eternity. One such man was a brother named J Hudson Taylor...
1832-1935. Oh my goodness this brother was trained in medicine but was not a doctor. He did Pastoral work but was not ordained.
Believe it or not in this modern world of America, we seem to have a shortage of Pastors in many churches. Is the bar set so high that only a select few can ever attain the office of an ordained anything in the local church? My personal belief at this time is yes. Will i live to see this changed in my country? This i do not know.....but.... i'd rather stand by or kneel by a man i know is redeemed from His sin of the flesh, than 20 men ordained yet living a hidden life contrary to the will of God for a particular church. Think on this if you have the courage. Many men in Biblical Scripture today's jealous deacons and Pastors would never ordain. I did not write this to speak badly of ordained Ministers,or deacons. I have close family that are pastors and friends that are deacons. Since when do we shun and discourage men from leadership roles in our churches that we know their Spiritual qualifications are very very solid, yet we push to the front men that are unlearned in God's word and some are sexually permissive, but they brag on how they have only been married to one women their entire life?
This is a very strong blog i know, and its been long overdue. By the way every time i speak with pastors, they bring up the subject that there is a tremendous shortage of Pastors and deacons. Something to think about. 0ver 50% of all marriages in America today end in divorce and Lord only knows how many people have married and divorced several times. Educated clergy i think is a very wise thing to have. Many of our Preachers historically dating back hundreds of years had formal educations. But we are building a church world that only Preachers with college degrees are welcome. That is wrong. We need to watch our converts and learn them. Believe me we can see if your qualified by the life you NOW live and how much you may or may not love Jesus. We must get back to qualifying our church leaders in the true fashion of our forefathers .Men like J Hudson Taylor and even Dwight Moody. God calls all sorts of men, from all backgrounds.Don't miss them !!!

UNDER HIS ARMS.
Sometimes when we sit to hear the Word of God preached to us ,it is what is not been said. Over the years things in churches have changed. I truly cannot say it is for the best. I try to be fair as i listen yet somehow i truly cannot say that the full council of God is being brought to us. Some things i noticed.....Matthew chapter 16. Especially verses 24 thru 27. Take up our crosses and follow Jesus. But first think on this,What is a man profited if he should gain the entire world and lose his own soul? Or what shall he give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man ACCORDING to his works. These are just a few of the words i have not heard in the pulpit in a long time. Something like 30 to 40 years.
I did not say truths were not preached. I just said certain ones have been left out. I do not care if we are saved.....all mankind needs to be reminded of the importance of these words ,spoken by Christ himself. If i gain all the riches of this world, but did not have Christ living in my soul, i would be eternally lost and be the poorest soul in existence. If your saved today,do not forget why you have to trust Jesus every day every second. If your lost, read these words, get on your knees and cry out to a merciful God who is waiting to hear from you.Repent and follow Him.That's where the real riches are.
May God bless you and keep you under His powerful Arms. (Amen)

AN EXPRESS IMAGE.
Hebrews chapter 1:verses 1 thru 3.
The first three verses of this chapter of Hebrews,to me, explains the entire needs the lost world requires.
First this scripture tells us exactly How God the Father spoke to mankind. How did He do it?
KJV uses words like Sundry, and divers. Many times and many ways,God spoke by the Prophets. But now He has a much Better way.God speaks to us all through His Son Jesus, who is greater than the Prophets. God had appointed Jesus His Son heir of all things. According to this account in Hebrews Christ made the worlds. In the 3rd verse Christ purged us of our sins, then sat down on the right hand of Majesty.
Seems simple enough, huh? No...it is not just simple. Listen to what it is saying. I have been saved since 1965 and to this day these words stir up a fire in my heart. Jesus is the express image of God the Father yet in the flesh. He is both God and man in every way possible. And He started revealing Himself to me ,by His Spirit at a very young age. I had no idea how powerful My Lord actually was,at least not in my child like mind. But i knew He was what i wanted in my insecure heart. The heart that would not reveal its weakness at that age. Life was traumatic to me as a child, and has remained so much of my adult life. Along the way Christ has guarded me, as most of the time i did as i thought was correct for my life. I know many men portray themselves as perfect christian individuals, perfectly qualified for what ever they say the Lord has led them to do in this life. Well that must be nice. So much favoritism they heap on each other due to this. I admit i have made odd decisions in my personal life, but yet when left alone with the correct leadership, this occurs.God has opened doors for me despite mans opposition that i never expected. You may say "What are you talking about"? I will not get into all of it,but i will say that most men i know, and go to church with love to brag about the better accomplishments of their lives. Afraid to even hint of the sinful life they were engaged in,that God was to suppose to save them from. In my experiences as a church member i have met pastors and deacons that squeezed onto their church roles while attempting to do inappropriate things. Much of this was involving other church members. Anyone attempting to deal with these issues was considered to be contentious. I declare the contention comes from the refusal to confess and repent. Grab onto the three verses here in Hebrews.Get lost in the message and the messenger. Do not be afraid to use your testimony.

ONWARD CHRISTIAN SOLDIERS,MARCHING AS TO WAR.
Today i have been studying about how Demonic influences can be recognized. While i am not yet finished, and i am not a great authority on the subject,i feel since being a Christian i need to think on the subject. Many reading this may already have seen such influences. Our Lord Jesus Christ had an encounter with such a person filled with a demon.Yes in church Jesus immediately was confronted by this Man who ask him his business there.Mark chapter 1:verses 23 and 24 shows us that this that the demon knew who Jesus was,and wished to know if Jesus was there to destroy them. I am not sure if the Demon was referring to the entire congregation,or if he mean't that there were many demons.Probably many demons. The man interrupted the service to shout this at Jesus. Another time Jesus came down from the mount of Transfiguration(MARK 9:17-18,20,22). Christ was confronted by a man who presented Jesus with his son who had a dumb spirit which seizes the son and dashes him down to the ground, and the son foams at the mouth grinds his teeth and becomes rigid. When the unclean spirit sees Jesus it immediately convulsed the boy,and he fell to the ground foaming at the mouth and rolling around on the ground. Points to notice......#1..All these demons know Jesus and have no doubt about who he is. #2.. Demons and those they posse are not afraid to cause disruption in church. #3.. This causes me to reflect on the many demonic attacks, some aggressive, in our lives when we are sincerely serving the Lord. We must pray and ask the Lord to rebuke such attacks on us. But it also makes me realize that we can expect this activity to occur. I also think that if we are already lack luster in our servitude to Jesus, Satan and his army are not concerned with us. Trust Christ, be of great Faith, and put on the whole armour of God and do battle with these evil spirits. In these times today in the entire world,Satan and his army are on the march. We must push them back. With Christ we can do anything. More about this subject later.

Don't be blind.
Before Abraham was," I am" wow. It stirs my very soul to know this man as my Lord and Savior. Jesus said this right after He said "Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it,and was glad".
Makes me wonder what all The Heavenly Father allows our ancestors to see of us. If we are lost then are saved? When we backslide, then return to Christ in a repentant state.Oh well ,we find that as Jesus uttered these words he was very close to being stoned by the Jewish religious crowd. I will not elaborate at this time about the noticeable mention of Christ as "The man". Yet He was both man,and God. In verses 47 thru 50 of the 8th chapter of St. John Jesus will explain who and what He is. Better yet read the entire chapter 8,especially verse 42. After Christ said all these things to the religious crowd, they took up stones to kill Him. He managed to slip right through them and get away. Then in chapter 9...something else happened. Christ passed by,the Bible says, and Jesus saw a blind man from birth. Christ healed the blind man and when the disciples had seen the blind man they assumed he or his parents had sinned or he would not have been blind. Sounds so much like the church crowd of today.Of course Jesus taught us all that sometimes people are disabled for God's ultimate glory. When the blind man was seen healed many that saw were curious as to how he was healed and who did this. The blind man that could now see,responded...."A man that is called Jesus"
I promise you Jesus is The Son Of the only Living God. He made us all......yet all do not honor Him.How can you not trust Him, when nothing else on earth that mankind tries works. Please do not fall into the arms of a living God, without first repenting of sin. Everlasting life depends on this.It depends on our relationship with Jesus." A man who is called Jesus" Who sits at the right hand of the Father as i right these words, Acts 7:55-56; Romans 8:34; Ephesians 1:20; Colossians 3:1; Hebrews 1:3.

YOU DECIDE.
Good afternoon, just a little switch in my usual post. Today I must say that I believe I finally figured out a simple concept. I have always believed our nation's politics....the politics of governing, should be mentioned more often in church services. But I know that depends on your congregation. Your teachers and preachers have to have their fingers on the pulse of their church. On the collective beliefs of their church.
If they seem to be politically divided then of course there should not be any direct mention. Just teach and preach God's desires for us,and be consistent with that message. Some churches seem to be united enough to handle politics
From the pulpit.Thats okay. As for me,I believe all Christians should be more involved in the governing of our nation (USA) No person, eligible, should fail to register to vote, and then vote. Our nation depends on this. There needs to be voter I'D. This is the skinny of the issue. You decide.

THESES MUST BE.
Something not mentioned much while preaching....how about 2nd Chronicles chapter 27: verse 2. Sometimes God splits hairs on why He chooses to bless us. We may fail in some areas of our lives but yet all being considered by our Heavenly Father, He chooses to bless us any way. Jotham King of Judah being one such person. Thinking of this, i find two things...#1..This is great to know when it is me it's speaking of then it is great. #2... How about when it may be someone we do not in particular care for ? Well that makes us a different animal. Good when it's us and not so good when it is someone we do not care for. It should make us forgive those we do not like, and always pray for them, and then Thank God for His mercy toward us.These must be.
(FOOTNOTE: Sometimes when i speak of A king of Israel, i may be meaning a King of Judah.)

WANT THAT BE AWESOME???
In every persons life, there seems to be a need to identify with those who lived before us. At least i feel there should be a desire to be curious. No where better than the Holy Bible. Many in this book were ordinary people trying to provide a living for themselves. There were Kings, influential women with power. Rich people poor people, very needy people with disabilities. The world in that sense has changed very little. Consider studying the Bible, not just seeing how much you can read of it. Consider the life of Jotham the King of Israel. The Jotham in( 2nd Chronicles chapter 27:verses 1-9).
Not that much about him but enough. He was the son of king Uzziah,he came to power when he was just 25 years of age.The Bible says he reigned in Jerusalem sixteen years. Most of his reign was spent on fortifying the defenses of Jerusalem and first fortifying the temple. He prepared Israel for the coming battle with Ammonites.
Jotham and his army defeated the Ammonites and the enemy was forced to pay Jotham and the Israelites for years. It made Jotham rich.Okay i said all this to say the following. The Bible says that when Jotham came to power He did what was right in the sight of the Lord, except he did not enter the temple of the Lord. Because Jotham took the path of righteousness,God allowed him to be successful. What is to be gleaned from Jotham's story?
It's this. First...you must not be just a creation of God. You must be His child. You must seriously accept the fact that you are a sinner separated from God by your sin. Some you are aware of and many you are not aware of. But...you must ask God the Father to forgive you for all sin in your life. You can ask Him to show you your sin. Ask forgiveness and repent from the sin in your life. This will make you a child of God, a friend of God, and it will set you on a path.
of righteous thinking and acting. Just as Jotham, believe God and he will allow you to be a success. Expect battles, because they will come. If you must be angry ....be angry and sin not. Doing battle with the devil does not mean we must hate people. Do not ,with intention, hurt people. But remember when you stand with Christ adversity will come. Just take the righteous path as Jotham did. Study Ephesians chapter 4:verse 26, and also Romans chapter 12:verse 18. These are very important. Now to comment on my title.....i am looking forward to meeting my Saviour and then so many of my Christian brothers and sisters in heaven. Want that be awesome?
