Be watching.

Watch ye therefore:for ye know not when the master of the house cometh,at even,or at midnight,or at the cockcrowing,or in the morning:Lest coming suddenly find you sleeping. And what i say unto all,Watch.(The book of Mark chapter 13:verses 35 thru 37) Jesus is coming soon!It may not be while you live,but he's coming.If you are saved you will come back with him.For all those that say where is the promise of his coming....its right here in these 3 verses!

BRETHREN MY HEARTS DESIRE.

I'd rather have Jesus than silver or gold, I'd rather be his than have riches untold; I'd rather have Jesus than houses or land, Yes i'd rather be led by his nail scared hand. Than to be the king of a vast domain And be held in sin's dread sway I'd rather have Jesus than anything This old world affords today. These are the words of a beautiful Christian song.And i am sure this is what R.A. Torrey had in mind when he said these words in front of a British audience in the early 1900's. He said I WOULD RATHER WIN SOULS THAN BE THE GREATEST KING OR EMPEROR ON EARTH;I WOULD RATHER WIN SOULS THAN BE THE GREATEST GENERAL THAT EVER COMMANDED AN ARMY......MY ambition in life is to win as many as possible. Oh,it is the only thing worth doing,to save souls;and men and women,we can all do it. As i was studying the life od R.A.Torrey that song came to my heart. Torrey's words inspire my soul to preach,and my heart to win souls. Today there are so many young people,old people,middle aged folks that need Jesus Christ.Just listen to the news about wars and rumors of wars,killings of young students that profess faith in JESUS.World religions that claim they are the way you should live,yet their way leads to death. Jesus offers everlasting life.As i was out and about today,i looked around me and saw people going in bars in the middle of the day,going to and fro busy working to pay for their earthly goods etc. Some to pay for entertainment.I had this thought. I said self,is all this worth the exchange for my soul? Of course it isn't! R.A. Torrey was just as i was at some point in his life. Then we both realized that the carnal life was not working out so well for us. Many different men and women have different testimonies,but in the end we are brothers in Christ as we share the Words of Romans chapter 10 verses 9,10,11,12,13. SOULS SOULS SOULS SOULS! My friends,this is what weighs in the balance.Matthew 16:26.....what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Please today,exchange your sin filled life with all its temporary pleasures for a life living for Christ,and eternal life. If your backslidden,then come back home to Jesus.

Searching the heart.

THE HEART IS DECEITFUL ABOVE ALL THINGS,AND DESPERATELY WICKED:WHO CAN KNOW IT? I THE lORD SEARCH THE HEART,I TRY TE REIGNS,EVEN TO GIVE EVERY MAN ACCORDING TO THE FRUIT OF HIS DOINGS.(JEREMIAH CHAPTER 17:VERSES 9 AND 10.) As i go to rest,i humble my heart towards the one that knows it.I pray he searches my heart to see if there be any wicked way that needs to be purged from me.I love you Lord,my redeemer.Forgive me all my sins,even the ones i am not aware of.Be not a terror unto me:thou art my hope in the day of evil. (JEREMIAH 17:17)

BEFORE ITS TO LATE.

HEAR MY PRAYER,OH LORD,AND LET MY CRY COME UNTO THEE. Hide not thy face from me in the day when i am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me:in the day that i call answer me speedily.(psalm 102) This entire chapter expresses the feelings of many who do not believe,but the Lord can and will save you. And he want waste time doing it. If you read this chapter,and you feel the way King David did in this Psalm,then call on the Lord.Verse 17 says it all. (He will regard the prayer of the destitute,and not despise their prayer. Omy....he is a loving kind merciful God who cares about each of us and what is good for us. PSALM 103 VERSES 1 AND 2.Bless the Lord,o my soul: and all that is within me,bless his Holy name.Bless the Lord ,oh my soul,and forget not all his benefits. Oh my i'm tired,its been a long day for me.I regret i have to sleep while the Lord is on my heart so much at this time. The Lord is merciful and gracious,slow to anger,and plentious in mercy. He will not always chide:neither will he keep his anger forever.(Psalm 103 verses 8 and 9. Please grow closer to the one that loves us so.And if you want everlasting life then give your heart to Christ and turn your life over to him.Before time runs out. For he knoweth our frame;he remembereth that we are dust.

THY FAITH HATH SAVED THEE.

As we here in America sit back and watch the world emplode,Russia on the march in the middle east,Iran threaten Israels existence,our President seemingly supporting ISALM our enemy.........how can we not see that the blessed day of the Lord Jesus return is eminent?How can we sit by idle and watch our fellow man deny and even scoff the Lord and his return. This time yesterday there were 13 people in Oregon that never thought for a million years that they would be in eternity today.Yet tonight,on social media there are Haters of Christ spewing out some of the most ignorant comments known to God and man about Jesus. Mocking him as imaginary,speaking total ignorant doctrines they believe in. Listen to the words of Jesus himself."Whereunto then shall i liken the men of this generation?and to what are they like? the book of LUKE chapter7:verse 31. Skip to verses 33 and 34. For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine;and ye say,He hath a devil. The son of man has come eating and drinking;and ye say,winebibber,a friend of publicans and sinners! This is an example of how Jesus exposed the unreason of unbelief. You cannot please some people regardless of what you say to them. I say this,just as my Lord said....Thy faith hath saved thee;go in peace.

EXASPERATED?

Good morning world.No doubt the greatest thing a person can do is accept the Gospel of Jesus Christ. But all of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.Most have heard of how he came to earth and died for our sins,rose from the grave and returned to heaven to sit on the right hand of the Father. But in the world today there are many ,i say many people with very suspicious versions of preaching,otherwise known as doctrines. Many desire to worship a jesus that does not judge,or make anyone accountable for their sins. This is why i sometimes preach what i call the full council of God. Today The book of Luke chapter 12:verses 51,52,and 53. In these 3 verses CHRIST makes it perfectly clear what to expect when we follow him.Today i ask my friends ,family and anyone reading this to please desire to know Christ words and expectations of us. Quoting Jesus......'SUPPOSE YE THAT I AM COME TO GIVE PEACE ON EARTH?' I SAY NAY;BUT RATHER DIVISION. Read verses 52 and 53. Christ tells us that many will listen and believe,and many will also listen and be EXASPERATED.....angry ,vexed. Consider this. Christ changes mans heart.The more we learn of him the greater i love and desire to read of him,commune with him,fellowship with his Holy Spirit.Luke chapter 12:verse 34......Jesus tells us (FOR WHERE YOUR TREASURE IS,THERE WILL YOUR HEART BE ALSO.) 2 things i wish to ask today. Where is your heart today as you read this? Have you given your heart to Christ? I hope so. Its our destiny thats at stake hear. But know this,if and when you decide to follow JESUS.......Many will be furious at you,but according to the book of 1st John chapter 4:verse 4 (Ye are of God little children,and have overcome them:because greater is he that is in you,than he that is in the world. Ya know i have to add this,i pray that many more at the reading of this writing,will join the fellowship of believers in Christ my Lord.So that in the words of Jesus,(BLESSED ARE THOSE SERVANTS,WHOM THE LORD WHEN HE COMETH SHALL FIND WATCHING) To those that perish,the preaching of the cross is foolishness,but to those which are saved its the power of GOD.(1st Corinthians 1:18)

KNOWING HE HAS IT!

John Wesley the great man of God,had an experience in life we all should think about. I for one do not pretend to have this same testimony....but i dare say we all should have a real testimony.As kind of an early footnote,i would like to say that reading Wesleys notes and story,even if we are confident in our Faith in Christ and his redemption power,reading his story should stir us up. Stir us by making us pray more,read Gods word more,and study your own testimony. Oh my how Wesleys story makes me say preach it brother! Preach that Gospel in that pulpit as though many at the hearing should feel convicted and repent. Or come to the alter and beg for a closer walk with Jesus.Wesley was a very well known preacher and teacher of the Gods word.But as many know by now he actually traveled the world preaching for years ,not fully confident of his own message about faith. He was quoted as saying' I WANT THAT FAITH WHICH NONE CAN HAVE WITHOUT KNOWING HE HAS IT'He is also said to have said many imagine they have it who have it not.Wesley also said that a person who has real faith is freed from from fear,and doubt,having the love of God poured out in his heart through the Holy Spirit which is given him;which Spirit himself bears witness with his spirit,that he is a child of God.(Roman 5:5 and 8:16) Oh i could go in many directions with this but hear is just one.When you teach,when you preach,never never ever assume everyone within the sound of your voice is saved.They could be a long time faithful church member,you never know. They could think they are born again,yet have no testimony.Nothing to recall from memory about their salvation experience.I personally know for a fact that there are some who have read of Wesley and listened to sermons such as this,and thru emotions come to the alters at church and say they never were saved and declare they just now believed. Both could be correct or both could be incorrect. But this is why romans 5:5 and 8:6 are so important.Be sure as GALATIANS chapter 2verse 20 says." It's no longer I who live,but Christ who lives in me and gave himself for me;and the life which i now live...I live by faith in the Son of God,who loved me and gave himself for me" This my brothers and sisters is what we should have confidence in. When we walk through the day,before every meal,before bed time and anytime we rise from our rest we need to know in whom we believe and know he is able to keep that which we have committed unto him against that day.(2nd Timothy chapter 1 verse 12).
