The writer of Hebrews(probably Paul) figuratively encourages all believers to come out from the camp,and no longer be a part of it. Follow along in the 13th chapter of Hebrews.Especially verses 10 thru 21. Separate yourselves from the world and its unholy practices. He was also speaking about staying away from earthly legalism practiced in the Jewish synagogues of his day. He said anyone who practices these useless rituals,that are unprofitable to Christians, or anyone, cannot partake in the Lords supper. He says we have an altar equivalent to the sacrifice of Christ, that these people cannot partake in. NOW, we can go boldly to the Throne,and address our needs to our Heavenly Father. The apostle Paul also spoke of this when speaking to the Corinthians about offering meat sacrifice to idols. Stop it! Wake up my friends and brothers and sisters, examine your salvation. Does it need certain foods, certain activities, another man to sacrifice to? No. Sacrifice ur lips, ur time and praise God continually. Your faithfulness in worship. You want answers to prayers? Stop praying amiss. Make sure scripturally you are praying for Gods will. Study God's word to see what His will is. I can assure you His will and ours may not be the same.So get outside the camp of legalism, and enjoy God's grace.Amen.

MASSAH, AND MERIBAH !
God has a plan. In the 17th chapter of the book of Exodus the children of Israel were on a long journey, wandering around in the desert.These Israelites were a type of many Christians today. Okay....in our past as well. They were on a journey....in a dry desert....and the worst things got, the more the moaning and groaning. The Bible says here in the 17 chapter of Exodus, that they began to Chide with Moses the leader.
NO water to drink, imagine that. They said" Moses give us water that we may drink" oh my...look at verses 1-4. Moses ask them why do u chide with me? Why di u tempt the Lord? Chide means to contend. To be contentious. Well i imagine they were thirsty. Thats a serious matter. Put yourself in their shoes. Dry desert, no water. They are past cooking with it, they are THIRSTY. Okay now enough is enough. Now they want to Moses to explain to them why Moses has led them up out of Egypt, to kill them and all connected with them with thirst?
Here it comes, the best part, Moses crys out to God and ask what shall i do with these people? According to the word of God, these people had been going thru at least 8 stages since coming from the desert of sin. At one point back in chapter 15, the children of Israel were singing songs of praise ro the Lord. Now here we go again. Now here come the redemption story again.God tells Moses exactly what to do. Get some elders, your rod, you know the rod u used to part the river. Go! Take it in your hand and Just GO!
The next part...oh look at it.....verse 6 Behold i will stand before thee, there upon the rock in Horeb. Moses, strike that rock, and there shall come water out of that rock. And Moses did this in front of the elders. And the people did drink.
You must see verse 7. The name of this place Massah and Meribah, because of the chiding[ contending]
the children of Israel did, they tempted the Lord by asking.....are u with us, or not?
Massah meaning ( proof) and Meribah(contention) My brothers and sisters, this thing called Christianity is not for the timid.
We proudly proclaim victory in Jesus. Yet we are a weak powerless flock. Not complaining, I'm not. We must have Victory in Jesus. Ask, beg, plead, contend, with our lord, if u expect victory. Pray. Very little real prayer in Gods houses like it should be. I personaly can feel in my body, and in my life, when other Christians are praying for me. Now....lets start contending with God for our needs. Do u think God answered there request when He did not want to? All thru the scripture God contends with us. So lets contend back. Father in heaven, u are Holy. You alone are worthy to be praised. Lead us to the water so we can drink. All our earthly needs, and our worship of you, we ask you to help us. When you do this for us, we know you and u alone get the glory and praise. AMEN!

God gave me a birthday present.
Good morning everyone. Well today is my birthday. 66 years ago right now my mother had delivered a scrawny little baby boy it was her last child. It was me. Usually when everything seems to be okay I-PASS off all birthday greetings with simple thank you's. But today the lord thru His word, has chosen to show me something i need and something to pass to many others. His gift to me and He wants me to not be selfish and share His gift. What could it be. Here it is. He has in a typical Holy Spirit way of doing things, given me Hebrews chapter 13...verse 5. He says" Let your character or moral disposition be free from love of money[ including greed, avarice,lust, and craving for for earthly possessions]
Be satisfied with your earthly possessions and be satisfied with your present circumstances and with what you have. For He (God) Himself has said,[ i will not],I will not in any way fail you nor GIVE U UP!
Nor leave you without support.
[ I will not,in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let you down( relax my hold on you)!
Assuredly not! Reference Joshua 1:5.
Verse 6 also says according to the writer here,that iee should take comfort and be encouraged and boldly say, The Lord is my helper, I will not be seized with alarm, i will not fear or dread or be terrified. WHAT CAN MAN DO TO ME?
Reference Psalm 27:1 Psalm 118:6.
This brought tearful joy to my heart and body. Immediately the Lord laid it on my heart to share this with dear friends i have who are suffering from Cancer. Those who have Chronic never ending physical pain all day everyday. Those whose spouses have given up on their marriages, and just walked away. Those with money scares, those who just lost thru death a loved one. A mate etc. God said He is not going to leave us. The best part i love, he will never give us up. So u see, He impressed upon me in my heart, to pray for u all.
People with eye issues, bodily function issues, family disputes, forgiveness and on and on the help is needed. Yes God had to send His Son to take on our sin.Because we are His handy work, and Satan nor any principality or power will force God to give us up. So on my birthday i have to say, to all my Christian friends
And those who may hold aught against me, i forgive you, with much humility, and i pray you will forgive me of my aughts against you. Tonight in Bible Study, i will attempt to explore the 13th chapter of Hebrews. The location will be New Vision Baptist church, Summers Street, just past the DQ, in Kennesaw Ga. 7pm sharp. God be with u all. Thanku again for the birthday wishes. Until later.

The Son of man has come.
Oh i remember this morning as i greet you,the child story i call it. The gospel according to Luke has a story of a man called Zacchaeus. Wow i brought forth child like tears and chill bumps, when i saw it again opening my Bible. Yes i mean't i brought forth. Probably not the perfect grammar but i do things like that to get the attention i wish to have on the subject.
okay ,back to the story. 6 Decades ago i first heard a little song about this man, sang by people i do not remember their faces. Yet i can see their arms waving as they sang to us.
Look at chapter 19 of the book of Luke. Zacchaeus was a publican rich man, a very small in size man. As Jesus passed thru Jericho Zacchaeus sought to see Him. I mean he was very seriously looking to see Jesus. Luke says he ran thru the crowd climbed up a sycomore tree to see him. The crowd was quite large and pressed together. See this in verse 3.
All this was just because the
crowd had heard Jesus was to pass by. Sure enough here came Christ, and in pure redeemer fashion, my Lord had a rendezvous
with this little man. Rendezvous usually means " a meeting at an agreed time and place,typically between two people" Wow ,i used this word because i know my Bible teaches me that my God is an all
knowing God. So Christ knew about this meeting in advance. But who did He have this agreement with?
Well...i'm sure it must have been none other than the heavenly Father and the Holy Spirit. So here we have it ...Jesus comes to THE place,verse 4. Wake up now...we are in the book of Luke chapter 19. so in verse 5 we see Jesus looking up and seeing Zacchaeus. Oh now look, Jesus tells him to make haste,hurry up, and come down from this tree, because i'm gonna abide in your house this day. So the little man made haste ,came down and received Jesus joyfully in his home. Why whats wrong with less than spirit filled Christians today, or for that part anyone, feeling a need to be in the presence of the lord? The Bible teaches us that if the Spirit does not draw men to the Lord,then they cannot actually come. In case you do not know...this assures that God alone gets the glory and not man. Okay...the key point i wish to make here at this time is joy. Oh i long to see real joy coming from someone who God's spirit has gotten a hold of. This must have happened to this little man. This little RICH man that saw a need for a savior.
Notice that there is always opposition. In verse 7 notice the murmuring starts. Ain't that just like people? Oh my gosh Jesus claiming to be the Son of God, actually goes to this sinners house. Now i am sure most of these people were religious people. Oh....but look at What Zacchaeus the sinner, the joyful little man said.
He told the Lord that he was going to give the half of his riches to the poor. Then he admitted that he must have taken things from people wrongfully, he would restore them fourfold.(vs 8).
Then the words we all should want to hear. I did when i was just a whee little Lad,of 12 yrs of age. Needing a Savior and salvation came to my house.Thats what happened here. Jesus said in verse 9
This day is salvation come to this house"
Look now at the most important thing all men need to know. This simple but powerful phrase. From the Son of God himself. He said in verse 10...."for the Son of man is come to seek.....and to save that which was lost".
Are you lost? Here you are. God's plan for your eternity. He has come to save you. Will you answer his knock at your hearts door. I pray you will. Are you faking religion? Then stop and meet Jesus like this man did. He knows you. He knows all your hurts,all your pain,all your problems.When He saves you ,its you that will change. Just like zacchaeus. But do ya want to change. Do you want your life to be different? Or are you content or even happy with your Sin. Some are. Just like this little man, Jesus already knows your heart.
Christ is seeking you. If you are backslid...Christ is seeking you out to return. He is not mad at you, He loves you so much. Wants you to come home. Do it. Stop hiding...He sees you. You can hide from me but not from Him. Have a rendezvous, a planned meeting with God Himself.
(A prayer) Dear Holy Spirit draw those reading this to come for the first time, or just simply come home. Amen !

Right Standing.
Good evening, i want to have you look at the book of Luke chapter
9 beginning with verse 23. The subject is "The weak Church"
If any man will come after me,let him deny himself,and take up his cross daily,and follow me. Also look at verses 37 thru 43. You must read these in your Bible as i write. Other wise i will have to type them down word for word and this could a very long lesson.So please pick up your Bible and follow along. In the first verses,23-26. Jesus my Lord, is telling me and all Christians exactly what a life with Him requires. Deny yourself. Key word is YOURSELF!
Your thought process,which when u deny it, will take care of all your other narcissism. All of it!
Christ tells us to take up our cross, in our case the heavy load that will be inflicted on us for following Jesus.Believe me when i am thru writing you should figure out that this cross of yours may to much for you to carry.Christ said do this daily. And then He said follow Him. This is just for starters. Christ then explains another requirement. He said that if you save your Narcissistic life, you WILL LOSE IT. But He then says if you give it up,repent of it for the sake of Christ the same person will save himself a good life. A right life.. So listen up....Christ then says to us ....what advantage to us is it, if we gained the entire world but lose ourselves, or cast away? Where is the advantage i say, to refusing Christ if you come to the end of your selfishness of a life, just to face an eternity with Jesus,all alone and in despair. Burning in a Devil's Hell?
Christ goes on and says in verse 26....if you are ashamed of Him and His words....oh my goodness look at this, Christ will be ashamed of you when He comes in His own glory,and in His Father's and of the holy angels. Think long and hard on these words from my redeemer.
Who am i speaking to tonight. Those that refuse Christ as the only ....i say only... begotten Son of God. Then those in the church pew playing as though they are christians. You may be good as lost yourselfs. Repent,stop playing around. Get serious with a commitment to Christ and then the fellow believers you for some reason decided to join in fellowship with at your local church.
Now for those who think they are religious,following Christ there is the verses in this chapter beginning with verse 37 going thru verse 43.
Follow please in your Bible. Do not be lazy, pick it up, it will not bite you. Well blow me down.....here we have a man approaching Christ about a problem. The problem concerning a bad Spirit attacks this mans son, causes him to foam at the mouth and the spirit would teareth at this boy. Enter the disciples into the subject. Guess what?
The spirit is the least of the problem. Professed well known men followers of Jesus were ask by the dad, to cast this evil Spirit out.
DING DING DING, They could not do it,and this desperate Father needed help for his only Son.So he ends up in front of GOD'S only Son. He tells Jesus the story and we find Christ gets perturbed a litte and says " Oh faithless and perverse generation, how long shall i be with you, and suffer you. Christ then said "bring thy son hither"
My goodness, my goodness. Do ya know what perverse means?
Apparently the Lord saw a deliberate act by his disciples to behave in a way that was unreasonable and unacceptable , despite of the consequences and seriousness of this problem.
Almost rebellious. Wrong headed.
So, whats my point here? My point is that if we do not take up our cross and follow Jesus, by giving up our selfish lives to Jesus, then we will be powerless, sinful,unwilling to move forward in a victorious way,with Christ leading the charge. What goes along with this weakness, is defeat, fear, lack of real faith and trust in Jesus.In other words the Church we go to....needs cleaning up,PURGING IF possible. Listen up. Growth with the right people will Honor God.
Growth with the wrong people will not succeed! Lets stop being cowards ,call it what it is, just like Christ did here. Then we have a chance to be victorious. I love all my brothers and sisters in christ.
I also love those who were playing church. Those who did not speak the truth about their level of faith. How do they do that?
By saying they support leaders in their church,but one possible unsaved person,unhappy,uncommitted person sways them away from their support. Have we lost something? Yes they are not ever going to experience the true victory in Jesus. I love all who come to fellowship,but if in the end we get called perverse and faithless by Jesus himself, then we gain nothing. We remain Babes in Christ not having the ability to handle the real meat of God's word's. Do i think someones not going to like this teaching. lol.....yep....all i can say is stop playing,make up your mind that you want to be in right standing with God himself. Let him have the petty disagreements so we can worship together in peace and harmony. If you leave...get your fanny"s back in that prayer room,and pew where you belong. You do not belong wandering around searching for the perfect church,
because there AIN'T none...as we say in the South. Get in the right standing with Jesus. By the way, Jesus rebuked the evil Spirit in this child, and healed child, and delivered the child back to his father.
Victory was suppose to be the disciples, but they were delberately
asleep at the wheel. Something else. If you are listening to these words, and your running from a marriage commitment,a church commitment, get your backside back where you belong. You are loved. God's not mad at you and neither are we. In 2 days i will be teaching from the 13th chapter of Hebrews. Some of you know what i am speaking of. I need this Hebrews 13th chapter so do you.
So show some courage....come listen. I dare you.

Let him have the petty disagreements so we can worship together in peace and harmony. If you leave...get your fanny"s back in that prayer room,and pew where you belong. You do not belong wandering around searching for the perfect church,
because there AIN'T none...as we say in the South. Get in the right standing with Jesus. By the way, Jesus rebuked the evil Spirit in this child, and healed child, and delivered the child back to his father.
Victory was suppose to be the disciples, but they were delberately
asleep at the wheel. Something else. If you are listening to these words, and your running from a marriage commitment,a church commitment, get your backside back where you belong. You are loved. God's not mad at you and neither are we. In 2 days i will be teaching from the 13th chapter of Hebrews. Some of you know what i am speaking of. I need this Hebrews 13th chapter so do you.
So show some courage....come listen. I dare you.

I CANNOT FIND IT...WHERE IT'S SUPPOSE TO BE EASY.
Good evening. As i study my Sunday School Lesson tonight, of course i see how bible figures lived their lives as apposed to ours.
Pretty much the same. Spiritually especially.
I find that every moment of everyday i need to be reminded of who i am. Here it is. Galatians chapter 2 verse 20. I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life that i now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God,who loved me,and gave himself for me.
This scripture says it all. But living this crucified life with Christ is not a gravy train. You make enemies of atheist, other Religions,and yes family and friends. We can expect that the same that happened to Jesus will happen to us. The Bible says John 1: verse 11.....He came unto His own and His own received him not. I do not know what to say about this in such a short venue. But do not be discouraged if you teach Sunday School ,or you preach or lead in the Church house. Rest a sure if God is leading you, Satan will oppose even if he uses spouses brothers or sisters, church members etc. It gets tuff out there, Do not buy into this everything gets better when u get saved philosophy. You will have peace with God but u will be at enmity with the world ,for they are hostile to Christ. The world is not your friend. This has probably been my greatest nightmare as a Christian. Learning to lean on Jesus when unexpected enemies attach me. The more i lean on Christ,the greater the attacks come. Pray for me, Sunday School in the AM i am prepared but the devil i am sure has someone or something lurking around the corner wishing to stop me from teaching, you preaching,you leading singing,you singing a special. Remember it is all for the glory of God. The Holy Spirit will guide yo in what to say. Goodnight....get up ....go to Sunday School and Worship service. Even if you just sit and listen, we feel so blessed to see you out there.

Vine and branches.
I am the vine ,ye are the branches. and my Father is the husbandman. in the 15 chapter of St.John Christ speaks of who He is,who we are,and who the Heavenly Father is. Now the Lord says ye are clean through the word which i have spoken unto you. Jesus declares in verse 5 that without Him we can do nothing.
Okay so from experience i know that when we let hindrances bother our minds to much, it weakens the branches. Because they are disconnected from the vine. We must take everything to Christ, and be prayed up as they use to say. We will produce no fruit worthy of the kingdom of God as long as we deal with things in the flesh and not by the Spirit. Verse 6 in this chapter shows us what happens when we do not abide in Christ. Verse 7 we learn Jesus says how powerful our prayer life is ...if we abide in Christ.
This says to me as a Christian that i must abide with Christ and be cleaned through the word of God. I have every confidence that Christ is watching over me. That i am not alone even if it seems like it. Listen...sometimes we need more than a pat on the back from our brothers and sisters, we need a fresh touch of the Masters hand.
Do you need one? I do. Right now things in my life look bleek.
Yet i read in this passage of Christ reminding me to abide in Him and not look so hard at the worlds threats.
Look farther down in the 15th chapter of John. Verses 15-17.
The lord calls me His friend. All things that He (Christ) has heard from the Heavenly Father He has made known unto us. Wow that is awesome. Let me close by saying, abide in Christ, and He will abide in you, and He will hear your cry for Help. If you are born again...
do not try to handle issues alone. Our thought are not His thoughts.
We will mess things up abiding outside the true vine ,which is Christ Jesus. Continue to read the rest of chapter 15. We see here who exactly we are.
