Right Standing.

Good evening, i want to have you look at the book of Luke chapter
9 beginning with verse 23. The subject is "The weak Church"
If any man will come after me,let him deny himself,and take up his cross daily,and follow me. Also look at verses 37 thru 43. You must read these in your Bible as i write. Other wise i will have to type them down word for word and this could a very long lesson.So please pick up your Bible and follow along. In the first verses,23-26.  Jesus my Lord, is telling me and all Christians exactly what a life with Him requires. Deny yourself. Key word is YOURSELF!
Your thought process,which when u deny it, will take care of all your other narcissism. All of it!
Christ tells us to take up our cross, in our case the heavy load that will be inflicted on us for following Jesus.Believe me when i am thru writing you should figure out that this cross of yours may to much for you to carry.Christ said do this daily. And then He said follow Him. This is just for starters. Christ then explains another requirement. He said that if you save your Narcissistic life, you WILL LOSE IT. But He then says if you give it up,repent of it for the sake of Christ the same person will save himself a good life. A right life.. So listen up....Christ then says to us ....what advantage to us is it, if we gained the entire world but lose ourselves, or cast away? Where is the advantage i say, to refusing Christ if you come to the end of your selfishness of a life, just to face an eternity with Jesus,all alone and in despair. Burning in a Devil's Hell?
Christ goes on and says in verse 26....if you are ashamed of Him and His words....oh my goodness look at this, Christ will be ashamed of you when He comes in His own glory,and in His Father's and of the holy angels. Think long and hard on these words from my redeemer.
Who am i speaking to tonight. Those that refuse Christ as the only ....i say only... begotten Son of God. Then those in the church pew playing as though they are christians. You may be good as lost yourselfs. Repent,stop playing around. Get serious with a commitment to Christ and then the fellow believers you for some reason  decided to join in fellowship with at your local church.

Now for those who think they are religious,following Christ there is the verses in this chapter beginning with verse 37 going thru verse 43.
Follow please in your Bible. Do not be lazy, pick it up, it will not bite you. Well blow me down.....here we have a man approaching Christ about a problem. The problem concerning a bad Spirit attacks this mans son, causes him to foam at the mouth and the spirit would teareth at this boy. Enter the disciples into the subject. Guess what?
The spirit is the least of the problem. Professed well known men followers of Jesus were ask by the dad, to cast this evil Spirit out.
DING DING DING, They could not do it,and this desperate Father needed help for his only Son.So he ends up in front of GOD'S only Son. He tells Jesus the story and we  find Christ gets perturbed a litte and says " Oh faithless and perverse generation, how long shall i be with you, and suffer you. Christ then said "bring thy son hither"
My goodness, my goodness. Do ya know what perverse means?
Apparently the Lord saw a deliberate act by his disciples to behave in a way that was unreasonable and unacceptable , despite of the consequences and seriousness of this problem.
Almost rebellious. Wrong headed.
So, whats my point here? My point is that if we do not take up our cross and follow Jesus, by giving up our selfish lives to Jesus,  then we will be powerless, sinful,unwilling to move forward in a victorious way,with Christ leading the charge. What goes along with this weakness, is defeat, fear, lack of real faith and trust in Jesus.In other words the Church we go to....needs cleaning up,PURGING IF possible. Listen up. Growth with the right people will Honor God.
Growth with the wrong people will not succeed! Lets stop being cowards ,call it what it is, just like Christ did here. Then we have a chance to be victorious. I love all my brothers and sisters in christ.
I also love those who were playing church. Those who did not speak the truth about their level of faith. How do they do that?
By saying they support leaders in their church,but one possible unsaved person,unhappy,uncommitted person sways them away from their support. Have we lost something? Yes they are not ever going to experience the true victory in Jesus. I love all who come to fellowship,but if in the end we get called perverse and faithless by Jesus himself, then we gain nothing. We remain Babes in Christ not having the ability to handle the real meat of God's word's. Do i think someones not going to like this teaching. lol.....yep....all i can say is stop playing,make up your mind that you want to be in right standing with God himself. Let him have the petty disagreements  so we can worship together in peace and harmony. If you leave...get your fanny"s back in that prayer room,and pew where you belong. You do not belong wandering around searching for the perfect church,
because there AIN'T none...as we say in the South. Get in the right standing with Jesus. By the way, Jesus rebuked the evil Spirit in this child, and healed child, and delivered the child back to his father.
Victory was suppose to be the disciples, but they were delberately
asleep at the wheel. Something else. If you are listening to these words, and your running from a marriage commitment,a church commitment, get your backside back where you belong. You are loved. God's not mad at you and neither are we. In 2 days i will be teaching from the 13th chapter of Hebrews. Some of you know what i am speaking of. I need this Hebrews 13th chapter so do you.
So show some courage....come listen. I dare you.
