YOU TRAIN ME TO FIGHT....

A very large piece of encouragement can be found Psalm 18 beginning with verse 32 thru 34. This follow-up provides more encouragement for us as we push back and stand up for what we believe in. Remember this. God arms me with strength and makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like those of a deer and gives me her footing on high places. Verse 34 he trains my hands for battle so that my arms can bend an Archer's bow of bronze. Continuing on verse 35.. You have given me the shield of your salvation your right hand supports me your gentleness makes me great. Verse 36 you make a wide path for me to walk on so that my feet do not slip. Verse 37 I chased my enemies and caught up with him. I did not return until I had ended their lives. I wanted them so badly that they were unable to get up. They fell under my feet you arm me with strength for battle. You made my opponent's fall at my feet. You made my enemies turn their backs to me and I destroyed those who hated me. They cried out for help but there was no one to save them. They cried out to the Lord but he did not answer them. I stopped reading at verse 41. Now this thing is pretty graphic and it does not mean we are to grabb our weapons and run out and start shooting and killing people. This was a description of what King David ended up doing two people who try to destroy him and his kingdom that God had set up for him. But notice he was a man after God's Own Heart. And also noticed he had sinned greatly. But by all means notice that he repented greatly in tears and agony when he realizes his sin was against God. Then God gave him strength to do all the things that I wrote from the previous verses. That my friend is how powerful a God we serve. It's also a warning to those who are atheist who believe there is no God but yet they spend all their time trying to prove that there is no God. This is the powerful almighty God That Sent His only begotten son who died on a cross shed his blood so that all men and women could be redeemed to him.And trust me he does not do with his power what he could do because he's very merciful towards us. God loves all people and will save all people if they will just turn to him. If you're sitting in your home reading this or are in your car or at work on break.... and the cares of this world your financial situation problems within the family problems with the boss problems with coworkers. You can take this to the Lord in prayer in private let him fill you with his Holy Spirit and tell him you trust him and Lord please take care of this issue.
