BOLD BUT HUMBLE. I CLEARLY LOVE.

My thoughts this morning,are of the prophet Daniel. Things he did,things he saw.One thing he did was engage in a partial fast.Why? Because he was in mourning for the conditions of returning captives.He fasted so his prayers would be more intense.(Daniel 10:3)  Our prayer life is vital. Vital so we can receive answers from God concerning our needs,and also offering up praises to Christ our King.Sometimes it helps to be humble.Bold ,but humble.Later an angel appeared to Daniel,chapter 10:vs 5-6.there were other people with Daniel yet they saw nothing,Daniel 10:vss 7-9.The other people sensed a powerful and terrifying presence but saw nothing.They ran and hid.(reference acts 9:3-7.) The next part i clearly love. DANIEL FELL INTO A DEEP SLEEP,(DANIEL 10:9) The angel gave Daniel strength,and informed him that God had heard him from the first day of the 3 weeks of prayer he was involved in. Wow.My prayer: Heavenly Father help us realize we need to be as passionate as Daniel when we pray,and remember that you are watching us. Thank you Lord for watching me. help me expect powerful intervention by you. Amen.

A DIVINE FEEL.

The lord at work in the midst of a disobedient servant, My goodness.Even the rain and the wind and sea were obedient to God Almighty.(JONAH 1:4-6).They were obedient to God's purpose.The sudden storm had something of a divine feel to it.The sailors on this ship with a believer running from his calling,prayed to their individual gods.Remember this was a society that was polytheistic.
They believed in many gods.My studies show me that there is a difference in calling out for help than calling out in repentance.
The captain of this ship even ordered the believer to pray,and it is apparent that his prayers were not answered at this time. The believer is none other but Jonah.This could be that this is an example of how God does not answer the prayer of a disobedient believer right away.It also shows me that there must be true repentance first. "Arise and call upon thy God" the captain said to Jonah.We must all pray for deliverance while this world perishes. (Romans 13:11.) we MUST ARISE FROM OUR SLEEP as a nation and repent first,then call on God for deliverance. AMEN.

THE GREATEST REMEDY.

This afternoon Jesus is my shepherd,the one i listen to. The one and only i respond to. Any other i flee from.Ya think so? well not. I have been foolish for years leaning on my understanding that i could help God out by leaning to my understanding and part of that was being sure (so i thought) that i could do his work in my life by myself.In other words not waiting on Him and what he actually planned for me.This story this morning is about that subject.The results of it. Look at chapter 10 of the book of John the Gospel.I will start by saying something odd to you. Are you out there in this world,with a changed life,after many years of sin,disobedience,doing God's will your way? Has your family shunned you publicly,yet privately they say they love you,yet they act as if you had a disease that might rub off on them.You watch them and they seem to have time for everything except you.You go see them,they are very nice,treat you well but yet if you do not extend yourself towards them,you will never see or hear from them.Let me say this...i have experienced this,i will not lie.But i have the remedy to this.FORGIVE. It is what should drive you.Get close to God and when you do He will tell you, you do not have to focus on that.Focus on Him(CHRIST).Let the Holy Spirit Clean your act up.Your life is your testimony and that my friends includes your bad past.Case in point,Sampson,Moses,Paul,King Saul,King David,and the list can go on and on.You must forgive.I did not say just an apology,i said forgive.You must be sincere,holding no grudges.By doing so,you will be victorious in your Christian walk.You will also love your family even more,and guess what?...you will not have to chase them.This goes for anyone you feel hurt by,and then you truly forgive them.Then watch God open up doors to serve Him.Do not play with God,you must be sincere and accepting of God leading you through life.Other issues will arise ,but follow the same practice. Remember, forgiving is an on going thing.You will always be required to do this. It will keep you on your knees,humble before God,but it will free your soul of issues you do not need to carry around as baggage.You will have peace with God.You will be used of God.Wow!!! Stop following strangers.Flee from them,and you will if your saved.John chapter 10:vss 4 and 5.Please read it.My Prayer: Heavenly Father.draw all people to you through your Holy Spirit.Amen.

I THINK NOT. CHRIST HAS THE POWER TO BACK US UP.

A couple of points this morning,a lie  that exist till this day.Soldiers watching over the grave site of Jesus,after his disappearance,went into the city and met with the chief priest of the Jewish people.They assembled,took council,with elders of the church. They gave large amounts of money to the soldiers to tell a lie about what happened to Jesus's body.They said His disciples had come in the night and stolen the body ,while the soldiers slept.Not a good lie,because if they slept,how would they have known the disciples stole his body?

These same disciples that hid during the execution,suddenly had the nerve to raid a tomb right under the noses of Roman Soldiers. I think not.There seems to have been many writings ,hundreds of years after Christ that continued to spread that lie.And in effect it is still the argument of  Atheist and other religions to this day.

Totally ignoring the fact that over 500 eyewitnesses had seen Jesus after his death and burial,before His going up into heaven.Even some of the disciples were doubtful about the events ....but....were later convinced when they saw Jesus themselves.(All scripture in Matthew chapter 28: vss 11-18.) I must add that even after Jesus was seen some doubted. My previous comment was about the fact that in vs 18...Jesus came and spake unto them.

Okay ,now my second point. VSS 19 and 20 we see a reason Christians witness to people.Christ himself tells us GO,teach all nations.A very short but powerful comment i must add is that VS 18 also says that ALL power is given to Jesus in heaven and in earth. 

It is with that degree of power ,that we as Christians can  witness with power.Christ has the power to back us up. It is for His glory ,not ours.

My prayer:Heavenly Father,convict all men of their sin. Show them the error of their ways. Use us as you will to help guide them to you.I n Christ name...AMEN.

THE SHORT OF IT.

Good early morning it is.I have been up reading the word of God,and so much the Lord is showing me. One day i will not have to read His word any longer because i will be with the Word.(John 1:1) But for right now, I am reminded in the book of Romans chapter 5:vs 10,that when man was first created by God,he was perfect in every way, without sin.But then through the act of one man(ADAM) man sinned,and became something he was never mean't to be. We became enemies to God. But Alas....through one man (JESUS CHRIST) we are reconciled back to God. Yet not in a perfect way. Our spirits have become perfect because Christ died ,then resurrected. Our flesh must be changed either by the return of Christ,or by death. The short of it is ,we that are saved,will receive a new body.Now to swing the story around a bit....question? Do you have peace this morning.Not the peace the world gives,but the peace of God that passes all understanding? You can have.Romans chapter 5:1 says when you are justified,it will be by faith. Do you have Faith in Christ? If you accept Gods gift of salvation, you will have Peace.My prayer: Heavenly Father,draw any lost soul that reads this .....to you. Save them,so they can have peace.AMEN.

NOTHING TO FEAR.

Oh today we honor the day Jesus carried his own cross,after a horrible torture had already taken place.Just the thought of this ordeal,humbles my heart because my sin was so bad that He had to leave his place in heaven,come here today shed his blood so that i can have eternal life with Him.Can i carry my cross and follow Him? I must. He(Christ) compels me to do exactly that.Yet i know that Christ rose from the grave with a mighty triumph over his foes.Go to church Sunday. You have nothing to fear. If you are not saved (born again,regenerated....) Then my prayer is that the Holy Spirit will convict you of your sin,and draw you to him. Oh what a wonderful day. Amen.

EVERYDAY YOUR EASTER.

ON THIS GOOD FRIDAY,LET CHRIST BE YOUR LIFE.WHY?
BECAUSE WHEN HE APPEARS,THEN YE ALSO WILL APPEAR WITH HIM IN GLORY.AFTER CHRIST RESURRECTION HE WAS HERE ON EARTH 40 DAYS.THEN HE ASCENDED INTO HEAVEN SENT HIS HOLY SPIRIT TO COMFORT US,AND TEACH US ALL THINGS HE WANTS US TO KNOW.LUKE 24;50-51. SEE ALSO ACTS CHAPTER 1:9-11.
THESE EVENTS SHOW THAT CHRIST DID NOT JUST DISAPPEAR,HE WENT TO A PLACE.THE DISCIPLES WATCHED HIM ASCEND INTO HEAVEN. AND ANGELS TOLD US HE WOULD COME BACK THE SAME WAY HE LEFT US.PLEASE DO NOT LET THIS BE JUST A ONCE A YEAR THING FOR YOU. LET EVERYDAY BE EASTER.GO TO CHURCH SUNDAY AND EVERY WEEK AFTERWARDS.HEAR THE WORD OF GOD PREACHED AND TAUGHT. MY PRAYER: FATHER....CONVICT MANKIND OF THEIR SIN,DRAW THEM TO YOUR SON THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT.AMEN

AS LONG AS IT IS.

ITS LATE NIGHT VERY EARLY MORNING HERE. BUT SOMETHING HAS BEEN ON MY HEART ALL EVENING. I WAS READING THE 11TH CHAPTER OF HEBREWS TODAY,AND GOD LAID THIS OM MY HEART. VERSES 24,25,26,27.
MOSES MAKING RADICAL CHOICES THAT FOREVER CHANGED HIS DESTINY.HE GAVE UP A POWERFUL POSITION IN THE WORLD,TO SUFFER AFFLICTION WITH THE PEOPLE OF GOD. TODAY WHAT ARE MOST    PEOPLE ESTEEMING? ARE WE WILLING TO GIVE UP THE WORLD AND ALL ITS GLORY.AFTER ALL YOU CANNOT TAKE IT WITH YOU.MOSES GAVE UP EVERYTHING INCLUDING EGYPT AND HIS POWERFUL POSITION.HE HAD HIS EYES ON GOD,FIXED HIS HEART AND MARCHED FORWARD. MY POINT IS THIS......AS YOU THOUGHTS RUN TO YOUR WORLDLY CARES AND CONCERNS,FOCUS ON THE SPIRITUAL SIDE AND GIVE IT ALL TO THE LORD.I CAN ASSURE YOU THAT THINGS DONE IN THE SPIRIT ,WILL GO WITH YOU.  AS AN ELDER MAN ONCE TOLD ME BACK OVER 30 YEARS AGO,QUOTE" THE ONLY THING WE TAKE WITH US WHEN WE DIE,IS PEOPLE" DO AS MOSES DID.....CHOOSE WISELY.HIS PARENTS DID WHEN HE WAS JUST A CHILD,MOSES DID WHEN HE WALKED AWAY FROM RICHES AND EARTHLY POWER,YOU WILL NEVER GO WRONG FOLLOWING CHRIST.MY PRAYER: FATHER, HELP ME STAY FOCUSED ON YOU AND YOUR WILL. I WANT TO ESTEEM ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS,AS LONG AS IT IS FOR THE HONOR AND GLORY OF YOUR SON JESUS CHRIST. (AMEN)

WHAT KINDA MAN ARE YOU? IS THIS JUDGING?

ARE YOU A RELIGIOUS MAN? ARE YOU AN ATHEIST? ARE YOU WELL EDUCATED? DO YOU BELONG TO A CHURCH AND YOU TITHE,HOLD A POSITION IN THE CHURCH? HAVE YOU BEEN ON THE SAME JOB FOR A VERY LONG TIME? HAVE YOU RETIRED FROM A COMPANY,THE MILITARY ETC. HAVE YOU BEEN MARRIED TO THE SAME PERSON FOR MANY YEARS AND YOU ARE SO SO PROUD OF THAT???  WELL THERE WAS A MAN OF THE PHARISEES ,IN CHAPTER 3 OF THE BOOK OF ST. JOHN,AND HE WAS MUCH LIKE SO MANY PEOPLE IN TODAY'S WORLD.
THIS MANS NAME WAS NICODEMUS,AND HE THOUGHT IS POSITION IN THE JEWISH CHURCH GUARANTEED HIM A PLACE IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD. THIS MAN CAME TO JESUS TO INQUIRE ABOUT THIS SUBJECT. JESUS MADE CLEAR THAT FIRST BEING BORN IN THE FLESH WAS A MUST,THEN YOU MUST BE BORN OF THE SPIRIT. BEFORE THIS MAN COULD ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD,THESE REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET.SO YOU MAY SAY WHAT IS MY POINT. HOW GREAT WE ARE IN OUR OWN EYES,WILL NOT GET US INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD.IF THESE WORDS MAKE YOU MAD,MOST LIKELY YOUR NOT SAVED,OR YOU HAVE SPENT WAY TO MANY YEARS AS A CARNAL CHRISTIAN,THAT YOU ACTUALLY DO NOT WANT TO HEAR THE TRUTH OF JESUS AND HIS WORD.IS THIS JUDGING? YEP,AND JESUS IS DOING IT.SOMETHING ELSE TO NOTE IN THIS STORY. JESUS ASK THIS MAN HOW COULD HE BE A LEADER IN HIS CHURCH, HAVING BEEN TAUGHT THE SCRIPTURE,(THE OT.) AND HE NOT COMPREHEND WHAT JESUS WAS SAYING. HEAR IS WHY.......1ST CORINTHIANS CHAPTER 2:14 ...THE CARNAL MAN CANNOT UNDERSTAND,BECAUSE HE DOES NOT RECEIVE THE THINGS OF THE SPIRIT.THEY ARE FOOLISHNESS TO THE CARNAL MAN.THERE IS ANOTHER
CARNAL SITUATION THAT EXIST. RELIGIOUS PEOPLE THAT THINK AND ACT CARNAL MAY NOT BE BORN AGAIN. 1ST CORINTHIANS CHAPTER 3:VERSE 3, THE APOSTLE PAUL MENTIONED MANY THINGS THAT OCCUR BECAUSE OF CARNALITY.ENVYING,STRIFE,DIVISIONS. i CONTEND WITH YOU TO SAY THAT THIS IS THE ROOT OF SO MUCH DIVISION AND HARD FEELINGS AMONG CHURCH MEMBERS AND CHURCH LEADERS. WHEN PEOPLE ARE NOT WALKING CLOSE TO THE LORD,THE ONLY OTHER RECOURSE IS TO BE CREATING STRIFE. OR.....GOD FORBID,YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN. THESE ARE STRONG WORDS ,BUT I GET THIS INFORMATION FROM RELIABLE SOURCES. THE APOSTLE PAUL,AND THE LORD JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF.STAYING IN THE WORD OF GOD,AND STAYING PRAYED UP,WILL ASSURE US ALL THAT WE WILL LEAD AND LIVE A TRUE SPIRITUAL LIFE.ONE WITH JESUS.
MY PRAYER: HEAVENLY FATHER,THANK YOU FOR SHOWING US HOW TO BE BORN AGAIN. AND MAY WE RAISE YOUR SON UP AS MOSES RAISED UP THE SERPENT IN THE WILDERNESS. ST JOHN CHAPTER 3:VERSE 14. AMEN.

A THANKFUL HEART.

As i study my Sunday School lesson, the HOLY SPIRIT touches my heart about so many things . This time it is a very educated Jewish man that has my attention.He was suppose to know enough about Old Testament scripture to be able to figure out what "Ye must be born again" means. Read the awesome scripture in Eze. chapter 36:
vss 26-27. When you believe....God himself takes care of it for you.
This is just one of many OT. scriptures that told the Jewish people exactly what the Lord had in mind.God makes us alive with Christ. Reference James chapter 1:1-17 where it is said that God ...of His own will,has brought us forth.Reference 1st Peter 1:3 for the fact that through God's abundant mercy he has given us new birth.
I leave you with this short message,so i can go get ready for a revival service tonight. Remember ,ye must be born again,to spend eternity with God himself.
