A GLORIOUS EVENT.

Never whine at God's result's. Jonah did. Chapter 3 of the book of Jonah.Jonah was told to arise and go to this great assyrian city,and preach to it. At first he ran.Yet God followed him. Finally Jonah did. After being swallowed by a huge fish,then Jonah repented,was vomited up. He is told by God again to go preach to Nineveh. This rime Jonah did. Great results,they repented,including the king. Yet Jonah hated Nineveh so much,he pouted and was very angry at God for forgiving Nineveh. For more information, read the 4 short chapters of this book.Don't be mad when God saves your adversary. It's a glorious event.God loves you.

CONFIDENCE.

Confidence in the forgiveness God gives us.This is the topic.You can have it.King David lets us know in Psalm 32:1-2. Whose sin is covered expresses the confidence.(vs 2)  When you have ask for forgiveness,and repented of the sin,you are blessed.Regardless of what family,friends ,enemies,Satan,or even your own conscience tells you,trust these Bible verses,claim them...and live in the true peace of God. Study the life and ministry of Jonah and you will see that running from the calling God has placed on your life,will not lead to peace.God will follow you and continually give you chances to obey Him.If you do not know Gods will for your life,then follow the instructions of Jeremiah chapter 29:vs 13. Many people over the years have not really desired to know God's plans for their life.
MY PRAYER: Heavenly Father draw all men to you,through your Holy Spirit. I pray all luke warm people will get a passion to know you,by reading and studying your scriptures. Amen. I WISH TO DECLARE.......RIGHT NOW.

Do you believe the words of the Apostle Paul? Just as today,people doubt. Some just outright deny.Refuse to believe  the words of Jesus or any scripture.One thing i noticed today in my studies,is that The Apostle Paul said this in (1st Corinthians chapter 14:vs 37).
If anyone thinks that he is a prophet,or spiritual,he should acknowledge that what i am writing to you is a command of the Lord." The apostle Paul made it clear that his directives to the church at Corinth were not merely his words,but a command of the Lord.
This is a short blog showing just How powerful the study of Gods word is to us.To me it reaffirms my Faith in the OT. scriptures and the N.T. scriptures as the ordained word of God Himself.The apostles ,then,have authority to write words that are God's own words,equal in truth status and authority to the words of the old Testament Scriptures.They do this to  record,interpret,and apply to the lives of believers the great truths about the life ,death,and resurrection of Christ.Today before i finish writing ,i wish to declare that i believe the Holy Bible all 66 books,Genesis to Revelation,to be the inspired word of God.Do you? If you are not saved,join me in following Jesus right now.

Studying lately on the topic "The word of God" . A very much needed by all of us lesson.There is the word of God as a person,the Word of God as speech by God.God's Word of personal Address,and of course God's written word,(the Bible).The Word of God as a person,Jesus Christ,in Jn 1:1 and Revelation 19:13.
The Word of God in speech....God's decrees that caused things to happen,such as genesis 1:3. genesis 1:24. God's personal Address,by speaking directly to them.Genesis 2:16-17...genesis 3:16-19...exodus 20:1-3...Matthew 3:17 !
God's word thru the lips of man,example Deuteronomy 18:18-20.
God spoke through Jeremiah, Jeremiah 1:9.
And of course the Bible....starting with the ten commandments EX 31:18...Ex 32:16,34:1,28. More writing by Moses,and Joshua,and Isaiah,and also the N.T.
The purpose of this is purpose.God himself gives us plenty imformation,to purpose in our Hearts that He is who He says He is.
Yet others purpose not to believe.My prayer:Lord...please draw men to you,through your written word,so they can purposely choose to believe and follow you.AMEN.

BOLD BUT HUMBLE. I CLEARLY LOVE.

My thoughts this morning,are of the prophet Daniel. Things he did,things he saw.One thing he did was engage in a partial fast.Why? Because he was in mourning for the conditions of returning captives.He fasted so his prayers would be more intense.(Daniel 10:3)  Our prayer life is vital. Vital so we can receive answers from God concerning our needs,and also offering up praises to Christ our King.Sometimes it helps to be humble.Bold ,but humble.Later an angel appeared to Daniel,chapter 10:vs 5-6.there were other people with Daniel yet they saw nothing,Daniel 10:vss 7-9.The other people sensed a powerful and terrifying presence but saw nothing.They ran and hid.(reference acts 9:3-7.) The next part i clearly love. DANIEL FELL INTO A DEEP SLEEP,(DANIEL 10:9) The angel gave Daniel strength,and informed him that God had heard him from the first day of the 3 weeks of prayer he was involved in. Wow.My prayer: Heavenly Father help us realize we need to be as passionate as Daniel when we pray,and remember that you are watching us. Thank you Lord for watching me. help me expect powerful intervention by you. Amen.

A DIVINE FEEL.

The lord at work in the midst of a disobedient servant, My goodness.Even the rain and the wind and sea were obedient to God Almighty.(JONAH 1:4-6).They were obedient to God's purpose.The sudden storm had something of a divine feel to it.The sailors on this ship with a believer running from his calling,prayed to their individual gods.Remember this was a society that was polytheistic.
They believed in many gods.My studies show me that there is a difference in calling out for help than calling out in repentance.
The captain of this ship even ordered the believer to pray,and it is apparent that his prayers were not answered at this time. The believer is none other but Jonah.This could be that this is an example of how God does not answer the prayer of a disobedient believer right away.It also shows me that there must be true repentance first. "Arise and call upon thy God" the captain said to Jonah.We must all pray for deliverance while this world perishes. (Romans 13:11.) we MUST ARISE FROM OUR SLEEP as a nation and repent first,then call on God for deliverance. AMEN.

THE GREATEST REMEDY.

This afternoon Jesus is my shepherd,the one i listen to. The one and only i respond to. Any other i flee from.Ya think so? well not. I have been foolish for years leaning on my understanding that i could help God out by leaning to my understanding and part of that was being sure (so i thought) that i could do his work in my life by myself.In other words not waiting on Him and what he actually planned for me.This story this morning is about that subject.The results of it. Look at chapter 10 of the book of John the Gospel.I will start by saying something odd to you. Are you out there in this world,with a changed life,after many years of sin,disobedience,doing God's will your way? Has your family shunned you publicly,yet privately they say they love you,yet they act as if you had a disease that might rub off on them.You watch them and they seem to have time for everything except you.You go see them,they are very nice,treat you well but yet if you do not extend yourself towards them,you will never see or hear from them.Let me say this...i have experienced this,i will not lie.But i have the remedy to this.FORGIVE. It is what should drive you.Get close to God and when you do He will tell you, you do not have to focus on that.Focus on Him(CHRIST).Let the Holy Spirit Clean your act up.Your life is your testimony and that my friends includes your bad past.Case in point,Sampson,Moses,Paul,King Saul,King David,and the list can go on and on.You must forgive.I did not say just an apology,i said forgive.You must be sincere,holding no grudges.By doing so,you will be victorious in your Christian walk.You will also love your family even more,and guess what?...you will not have to chase them.This goes for anyone you feel hurt by,and then you truly forgive them.Then watch God open up doors to serve Him.Do not play with God,you must be sincere and accepting of God leading you through life.Other issues will arise ,but follow the same practice. Remember, forgiving is an on going thing.You will always be required to do this. It will keep you on your knees,humble before God,but it will free your soul of issues you do not need to carry around as baggage.You will have peace with God.You will be used of God.Wow!!! Stop following strangers.Flee from them,and you will if your saved.John chapter 10:vss 4 and 5.Please read it.My Prayer: Heavenly Father.draw all people to you through your Holy Spirit.Amen.
