He said preach to broken hearts.But his ministry was not sentimental.His doctrine was solid.Now my own observation.Battles for power within the churches,feelings hurt,in the church.War over music,finances,sermons,etc.Then suddenly out of no where the Pastor starts preaching with deep conviction and obvious passion.In this case it shows.What shows? The Pastor preacher has been in deep prayer over these issues.Not just lip service. Seems with all of us,something has to break us in order for Gods Spirit to move freely.This is an example of How the Lord is in the middle of the deepest darkest recesses of our lives.He knows each of our strings.And knows which one,and when to pull them.
