I definately am becoming more positive That God must draw us all to Him.He tells us what to say,convicts our hearts about how we should act.Its His Holy Spirit.Events leading up to the birth of Christ,shows us that the 3 most important earthly figures had a visit from Gabriel the Angel,telling all three what was about to happen.A prie

st,his wife,and a young virgin girl.The Bible teaches they all were people of faith in God.They all were obedient.The man was faithful to his service in his church, (so to speak). We must believe,first of all.Hebrews chapter 11:verse 6.Just as always,God rewards faithfulness.Examine what you do in service to the Lord.Is it your calling? Does the Holy Spirit guide you,or not? Do you give place to the devil.Do you recognize Satan.I did not say accuse another person of being Satan! But remember...resist him and He will flee. God already knows.Just as with Zacharias Elizabeth and Mary,guard your faith,Read Your Bible,study it,And Pray always.God will bless you,when you regard him.Be faithful to what He leads you to do.But make sure you know what it is. Zacharias Elizabeth and Mary we're all told the events that were to occur in their lives. They got there because of their faith. And they knew what God's plan for their life was.My Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father please continue to teach me your ways. Make clear your plans for my life. In Jesus name I pray amen.

NOT A PLAYGROUND.

There are men called of God to preach on the issues of the hour and we need their ministry.But for permanent strengthening of the church,we also need preachers who will dig again the old wells and lead us intelligently down the old paths and who,renouncing cheap pulpit rhetoric,will focus the white light of revelation on the human heart and examine us in that light.In short ,today we need preaching that appeals to the conscience,penetrating preaching,clinical preaching,preaching that moves men to cry,"MEN AND BRETHREN,WHAT SHALL WE DO? This was a taken from the short bio of John Henry Newman.From the book 50 people every Christian should know.I find this an odd story,because it crosses most evangelical thinkers opinions of what a godly man should be. The fact that brother Henry departed his evangelical beginnings and started drifting toward the church of Rome.(This requires much more study of his life.)This man preached over one thousand sermons.Wrote volumes of books.This man preached more of how to reach into a mans conscience than he did the gospel.Interesting.It seemS he was not interested in the zeal and doctrine.Seems today we may have lost our zeal for the full council of God.(just a thought)Words without reality was something he hated with a Holy Zeal.Just religious words.Newman wanted to elevate WORSHIP in the church. Something the late brother Ravenhill i personally heard preach.Anyway something to dig more into,because it seems to be needed in church today more than ever.A man named R.W CHURCH ONCE SAID "The evangelical churches were respectable and popular with men but "they were on very easy terms with the world" Examine our churches today. Are we on easy terms with the world? Lacking true Spiritual power,and Christian character? Maybe church discipline is in order. Remove all hindrances from our studies,and services? Hmmm...The word of God preached and more serious worship of the one Holy Father.Our Heavenly Father.Through His Son Jesus Christ.My Prayer: Father help us be more respectful of all our church gatherings.The church service is to worship you and not ourselves.Its a battleground not a playground.Amen!

WE MUST DESPISE OURSELVES???

When the Prophet,came into the presence of God, (ISAIAH)...He said woe is me.For i am lost,for i am a man of unclean lips,and i dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips ,for my eyes have seen the King,the Lord of host. Isaiah chapter 6:verse 5.Job also had said That he had heard with his ears,but now my eyes see you.He then despises himself and repented in dust and ashes.Job 42:5-6.The point to all this is,the more sanctified we become,the closer to the Lord we get,the more we see as Christ sees.Even as i write,i see where some may think i believe i am self righteous.No,exactly the opposite.I pray God will continue to draw me towards him,and his righteousness.My prayer: Heavenly Father,i am a sad state of affairs,and without you....i could never be sanctified.AMEN.

I NEED HIS HELP.

Hebrews 12....many want to be religious,but not go thru the process of sanctification.Dieing to ourselves,learning to forgive,learning to love each other,and not using salvation as an excuse to sin.Because you will anyway.We are to look to Jesus our example.Romans 8:13....put to death the deeds of the body and we shall live.You see,some take the half truth of just letting God do it all,excusing themselves to be taken by their old nature, and refuse to do 8:13 of Romans.Gods Holiness is the Standard we are to follow.My Prayer: Lord,give me much grace as i am being sanctified.Amen.

Anger,rage,bad feeling toward others,curses and slander,and foulmouthed abuse and shameful utterances from your lips!Thats chapter 3 of Colossians,verse 8.Verse 9...Do not lie to one another! Verse 10...reminds us that we are being regenerated into His image who created us.Genesis chapter 1:verse26.Verse 11 makes it clear there is no room for racism of any kind,from any party.Verse 13,14,15,16,17,explains once again how we are to conduct ourselves with one another.Life ain't easy,but this can be done with the Holy Spirits help.None of us are excluded.My prayer...Heavenly Father, intervene in our affairs.Make Your way CLEAR.

The KJV broken down thru Greek study...Romans chapter8:verse 13.For if you live according to the dictates of the flesh,you will surely die.But if through the power of the Holy Spirit,you are habitually putting to death (making extinct,deadening)the evil deeds prompted by the body,you shall (really and genuinely) live forever.The most difficult thing for any of us to do,is put to death our own desires,habits,our sinful nature.But...we must daily seek The Holy Spirits help doing this.Colossians chapter 3:verse 2.Set your minds and keep them set on what is above (the higher things),not on the things that are on the earth.vs 3,for as far as the world is concerned,you have died,and your (new real)life is hidden with Christ in God.vs 4,When Christ,who is our life,appears,then you al so will appear with Him in (the splender of His) glory.These are just a few of the examples we are to focus on daily.These are a few things we Christians MUST daily practice.It will guide us in how to conduct ourselves in fellowship with each other.We cannot acheive this outside of serious prayer for the help of The Holy Spirit. My prayer:Heavenly Father,respond to our call to you for spiritual guidance. Amen.

BUT WE CAN.

It is the Holy Spirit that gives Christians the insight they need to understand what God is saying to them in the Bible(the Holy Scriptures).Before studying the Word,we must first pray and get God to reveal things to us we are reading.The natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit,he thinks they are foolish.When we are born again we receive ...as the Bible says,the mind of Christ.People often these days like to say we cannot not judge them.We can not. That is correct.But...we can judge all things through discernment.Situations call for us to judge them,which is discernment.Please read 1st Corinthians chapter 2:verses 14,15,and 16. Please as you walk day by day,regard what God thinks about things. It is written in His word.Talk to Him.He is waiting to hear from you.My prayer for those who cannot understand,is that you first be drawn to Christ,through the repentance of your sins.Ask God to forgive you,then repent of your sinful ways.God will show you those ways if you honestly want to know them.Then He will begin to reveal the words written in this book(the bible).Its an awesome life...here....and for all eternity!!! Let me leave you with these words. "FOR WHO HATH KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD,THAT HE MAY INSTRUCT HIM? BUT WE HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST"AMEN. Lord...draw all those that do not believe....to you,that they will be saved.AMEN>
