ON MY HEART.
WHO CAN FIND A VIRTUOUS WOMEN? for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her,so he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. She seeketh wool, and flax and worketh willingly with her hands. She is like the merchants ships;she bringeth her food from afar. She riseth also while it is night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.(This all is from the 31st chapter of Proverbs verses 10 thru 15.
The rest of the chapter is also great read. This was a king that had a his mother was giving him advice on how to live as a king. She told him in the previous verses not to drink wine, lest he forget the law ,and pervert judgement of any of the afflicted. She then said something very at odds with some beliefs. She said give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts.
This scripture speaks of the dignity and honor of a women.
Seems to me that this women was an honorable women and that its very important that a mother teach her son the values of living for the Lord and the fear of the Lord. This mother cared for the poor and needy, and told her son that as king he should also do that.
While i feel in America we have very poor leadership many times....some leaders plead the cause of the poor and needy. But i am not sure which ones do it for filty lucres sake, and which ones actually care.
I will not get into the entire chapter ,that is for another time.
My prayer this morning.......dear heavenly Father i pray for all people on this earth, that their kings will heed this advice. For the sake of their needy which are many.
Many hungry children walk streets of many countries, many mothers and Dads grieve for themselves and their families.Oh God hear their cries and speak to the heart of their kings.Speak to the hearts of the Kings of America. Thank you for Godly women that fear you,and look well after their households. This is what the Lord has laid on my heart this early morning. (AMEN)
