An article posted about an interview with Joel Osteen says Mr. Osteen said the Apostles...PAUL PETER AND JOHN NEED TO BE REBUKED.(posted by united for awakening) Several scriptures come to mind. Galatians 1:8,2nd corinthians 11:3,4.Galatians 1:9-10.,Romans 16:18,2nd Timothy 4:3-4.Revelation 3:15-16. This is speaking to people like Joel Osteen.God help you people who listen and accept this dogma from him.The Holy Bible only...should be the basis for your speaking authority.This man worships the mushy god...the one that never holds us accountable for our sin. Therefore this man preaches all feel good religion.If people do not see anything wrong with themselves,they see no need to REPENT. Folks....Repentance is not a suggestion in the word of GOD. Its a command. Please do not sit under the preaching or teaching of anyone that does not preach on HELL,or repentance. Please......ur very soul is in the balance.Hell and the devil want you....and they know JESUS CHRIST has redeemed you. All you have to do is accept him.But go and sin no more is a command of Christ. Not perfection,Just stop as much of the sin in your life as you can. And Osteen does not preach that.When i am listening to preaching i am looking for someone that preaches the FULL council of God. But of course i have been born again since 1965.I am sure the Apostle Paul was speaking of situations like OSTEEN has created. Idolatry. The worship of this man rather than God himself and his scripture and Doctrine.(Acts chapter 17:verse 16. "His spirit was stirred in him,when he saw the city wholly given to IDOLATRY" Another way to say it is his spirit was grieved and roused to anger as he saw that the city was full of idols. This mans preaching (OSTEEN)is wounding CHRIST in the house of his friends.(RAVENHILL) We need to be angered by such idolatry.
