Teach your children respect for Gods man.

And he went up from thence unto Beth-el:and as he was going up by the way,there came forth little children out of the city,and mocked him,and said unto him,go up,thou bald head.And he turned back,and looked on them,and cursed them in the name of the Lord.And there came forth two she bears out of the wood,and tare forty and two children of them.(2nd KINGS CHAPTER 2 VERSES 23 THRU 25.) Wow. Reverence means something.Disrespect for the Almighty and those he has chosen can cost us.Notice ELISHA did not kill these children.This was clearly a man of GOD and insulting him and mocking him is serious business. The vengence was the LORDS.(Romans chapter 12:verse 19)I know some wish to blame Elisha...but blame God. Elisha was a Godly man very very close to God.Lets just say God knows better than we.Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Scoffing him and his chosen ones is not safe.Problem is in our day.....is that there are so many False preachers and teachers.
