PREACHING JESUS AND REPENTANCE.

Preaching Jesus and repentance. One of the best ever was the apostle Peter.He made sure the attention was on Jesus and not himself or the other Apostles.Acts chapter 3:verses 11 through 21.
Peter first let the men of Israel know that the God of Abraham,Isaac,and Jacob,had glorified His(GOD'S) Son Jesus.
Peter then reminded the men of Israel that they were the ones that delivered Jesus to Pilate. And that they were the ones that denied Jesus His release , when Pilate was determined to release Jesus.
Verse 14 through 16 we see that Peter also described Christ as the Prince of life that was raised from the dead. He declared that the Apostles are witnesses. Key word.....are....not was.
Then his attention became focused on repentance. Israel must repent and so must we. Be refreshed.Amen.

Hears a Shocker.

God wants us (Christians) to be lights in this world,to lead others to Him.We should pray for our Muslim,Buddist,and new age neighbors,seeking opportunities to share the truth of Jesus Christ with them.Hears a shocker....while we think of millions around the world who have not yet heard the Gospel,and we send missionaries to preach ,teach and aid these people,some of our neighbors,residents of our own communities have not heard the gospel of Jesus.If you have not been born again,realize the penalty for sin(Romans 6:23),then believe Christ died for you (Romans 5:8),
then trust Christ alone as your Saviour.(Romans 6:23b) (Romans 10:13). You can do this if you hear the tugg on your heart by God's Holy Spirit. You may be old or young.....Gods calls all. I pray God's Spirit calls you all,and you answer. Amen.

I BARE THEM NO MORE.

Holy ,Holy,Holy Lord God almighty.Worthy is the lamb,Worthy is the lamb. Just listening to some songs this morning before daylight.
Just having my alone time with the lord. Then what comes natural....sharing. Why? Because out in this world people are hurting,yet most will not even turn to the lord for help. Last night i was channel surfing TV and came across a documentary about demons and evil spirits. Also the famous 33rd parallel that supposedly all along the parallel ,around the world angels of all kinds enter and exit our world through history. So many comments saying once mankind gets educated enough we will fully understand whats happening. Then i start listening to music glorifying my Lord and Savior. I am teaching 2 lessons tomorrow in Sunday School,one is God's covenant with Israel,and the other (if time permits) Obeying God's law. Wow,as i was listening to the music, El Shaddai, i felt the Holy Spirit of God speaking to my heart. Saying worship Him (EL SHADDAI ) He alone is worthy to be worshiped. My first thoughts were of the children of Israel leaving Egypt and camping out near mount Sinai. I thought of the Lord telling Moses to prepare them to meet Him(The Lord),and what all that involved. I thought how powerful our God is as all the smoke,the thunder and blowing of the trumpets got louder and louder. How it scarred the children of Israel.
God is Holy and no man can see His face,and God only came down as far as the top of the Mount. Yet the Lord accomplished what He came down for. He set the Ten commandments to stone before Moses,and Moses shared them with the people.  God knew
Israel could not and would not be able to obey all His commandments.God had a plan for all mankind. That plan involved Him having to come here as man and God,shed His own blood for our iniquities or else there would be no Salvation. No Redemption bringing us back to fellowship with Him as in the Garden. So men need go no farther than God's word(The Holy Bible) to find the answers they are seeking to find. I have, and i .....like the song says,have found out it is well with my soul.My sins were nailed to the cross and i bare them no more. Stop searching in the wrong places. Salvation is right in front of your face. Jesus paid it all. Amen.

TO BE OR NOT TO BE ???

It's tuff to not be ourselves when we face others in our daily walks through life. Many people are so proud of themselves because of all their accomplishments.We say that that is great. But are we missing something? we have an idea that we just know is perfect and will work great,and we just know that other people need it. Then when its not accepted we feel anger and pride swells up like a balloon inside our spirits.Then all of a sudden we do not see others as Jesus sees them. What happened to all the "I love you's"?  Now..they just disagree with us. Maybe they are lost souls, just going through the motions of life ,if it be in our churches,or business or hanging out together.The Bible says in Galatians chapter 5:vss 22 and 23 that "The fruit of the Spirit is love,joy,peace,longsuffering gentleness.goodness,faith, meekness,temperance,against such there is no law. The Bible also says that that the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth,(Ephesians 5:verse 9)AND (Phillipians chapter 1:verse 11) in other words it's without defect.
James 3:17 says"But wisdom which is from above is first pure,then peaceable,gentle,and easy to be entreated,full of mercy and good fruits,without partiality,and without hypocrisy." So whats my point?
These Scriptures are for each one of us. To judge our ourselves and not  be busy about pointing fingers.When we see the faults of others and see none in ourselves i am reminded of the words of my Lord in Matthew chapter 1:vss 1 thru 5.This is referring to judging period. We must judge situations,and as Humans God knows we see the faults of others.There are ways to deal with issues,but we Must as Christians look first at ourselves,for we most likely are like these people or just as bad in other ways.Each time,before we deal with issues sensitive to others or ourselves,seek the words of Christ "Judge not,and you will not be judged;condemn not and you will not be condemned;forgive,and you will be forgiven".(Luke 6:37)again the very word of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ourself is the natural....and to see others as Christ sees them is the supernatural. I know most likely forgiveness is a one sided street. So at least you....make sure you forgive.In the end remember the Lord said they(whoever they are) will know we are His disciples if we love one another.Agree to disagree sometimes,but love one another.Christ sees and knows all my faults.Yet He continues to pour out His mercies on me every second and minute of the 24 hr day.This is not an easy task,because it's not natural. Help us Lord for we cannot do this on our own.(AMEN)so be it.

HE NEVER FORGETS.

You want become a saint by studying your Bible,you will become a saint by living it. That was a quote by the late great brother in Christ.....a man of the ages,never to be duplicated Powerful man of God.I can say much more about him but i will not in this blog. But i will add to his quote,"and this is from me....."Only studying your Bible will lead to living it".Tomorrow is Sunday, get up and attend Sunday School. In it you will find the backbone of your church.Only serious people that worship will usually attend regularly. This has been my observation. When was the last time you met someone who attended so much,you just knew they would be there? News Flash.....when you are not their, they miss you tremendously. When was the last time church members anguished over those that were not there? I can tell you,i never miss a Sunday that i anguish over those i wish were in my class. Regardless of why they missed. I am always excited about what God's word has for me in class. If i was looking for a church to attend,they must be a Bible believing,praying SundaySchool believing Church. Its hard to slip into Sunday School and slip out unnoticed.  SURPRISE....when you try that in church service, God sees you. And He's taking notes. He knows our hearts.
I pray all who read this will attend Sunday School tomorrow. God bless. My Prayer: Father,i pray for people to get serious about their commitment to Christ.He commits a lot of Promises to us,and He never forgets or decides to not fulfill them.

"I CAN'T GET NO SATISFACTION"

Jesus ask a woman of Samaria for a drink of water and the women told Him if he knew who he was asking for the water He would ask someone else. Well to be exact she was more direct than that. She flat out told Him she was a Samaritan and He (Jesus) being a Jew was not suppose to have any dealings with Samaritans. Jesus then very quickly told her that if she knew who was asking her and the gift of God,she would have ask Him and He would have given her living water. (John chapter 4:verses 7 thru 10.) In this world of ours do you think there are people who have never heard about this living water that if you drink of it,you shall never thirst again? Salvation is what Christ is offering here. Eternal water for your souls that will perfectly satisfy, which means you will need not seek for soul satisfaction ever again. Perhaps if the writers of the song "I can't get no satisfaction" knew about the gift of God Christ was speaking of here in the 10th verse of the book of John they would not have written the song. Millions and millions to this day chant the words of this song,why???  Because they can identify. Be born again (Romans 6:23). Jesus the Son of God,guarantees you that you will eternally be satisfied. This water will always be there for you to drink of. I know from personal experience. Come join us. My Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father,Draw all those that can't get satisfaction,to you,through your Holy Spirit. AMEN(SO BE IT).

HAVE A NEW CHANGE OF ADDRESS.

Repentance....is defined as a heartfelt sorrow for sin,a renouncing of it, and a sincere commitment  to forsake it and walk in obedience to Christ. It is like faith,an intellectual understanding(that sin is wrong).And emotional approval of the teachings of scripture regarding sin. A sorrow for sin and a hatred of it.Does this explain how you feel? If not then if it were me,i'd be on my knees humble towards God asking for Him to show me the way to Salvation.Which begins with true repentance. A person cannot come to Christ own his own.He or she must first here the Word of God,by being preached to.Or your own interest ,enough to search the Scriptures with all your heart. The Lord says if you do that you will find Him,(Jeremiah chapter 29:verse 13) Or (Romans 6:verse 23).
Believe that Christ Christ died for you,(Romans 5:8). it is important to know and realize that mere sorrow over one's actions does not constitute true repentance.And i must add that i believe that only God's Holy Spirit can show you that. Believe me,the Lord knows our hearts. We cannot fool Him. So many today need Jesus. Yet so many will not repent. This is serious....your eternity depends on it.

COURAGE.

The Lord likes visions? Lets see,no man has seen God and that fact is made clear in many scriptures.Now in visions the Lord spoke and directed his commands to many men.(Acts chapter 9 )The wonderful story of Saul's conversion and then His great sendoff into his ministry for Christ.A scared believer Ananias in Damascus was called of God,and Ananias answered "i am here Lord" After that the Lord told him what to do,and believe me it was a scary request,he began to tell the Lord what the Lord already knew.Saul had rendered havoc on the church,causing it to scatter abroad.Saul jailing many Christians and consenting to the death of many.Now Ananias was asked to go and enquire of Saul of Tarsus.When he found Him he told him that Jesus had sent him to give him back his eye sight,and fill him with the Holy Ghost.What a glorious moment in the History of the church.This man Saul was renamed Paul and he is responsible for the writing of 13,and most believe 14 books of the New Testament.
Many souls were saved under his ministry,many preachers teachers ,deacons,evangelist were launched into the world by this mans ministry. Yet remember in the beginning he was not so readily  accepted,do to his past. I cannot help myself but to see that in our world today,so many hold our past  against us for a lifetime. Listen up....when Jesus forgives us,He forgives us.Regardless of what men may think. If we repent and believe Jesus may very well begin to use us or at least start preparing us for what he wants us to do.It will be the Holy Spirit that accomplishes it.Listen to Him and not men.When we do we can say just as the Bible says Paul did. He went straight way preaching Christ in the synagogues that He is the Son of God. Pray that God's Holy Spirit will give us courage that we desperately need to see people saved before time runs out for them.Amen.

THERE IS A RIVER.

THERE IS SOMETHING SPECIAL ABOUT A RIVER. FROM THE BEGINNING OF MY FAITH ,EVEN UNTIL NOW IT HAS A DEEP SPIRITUAL EFFECT ON ME. THERE IS A RIVER THAT FLOWS FROM DEEP WITHIN,THERE IS A FOUNTAIN,THAT FREES MY SOUL FROM SIN,COME TO THESE WATERS,THERE IS A VAST SUPPLY,THERE IS A RIVER,THAT NEVER SHALL RUN DRY. Oh my goodness,there is much more to this song but i was reminded of it this morning as i read psalm 46:4-5. There is a river ,the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God,the Holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.You can also read psalm 48:1 as a reference. In verse 5 of psalm 46 it says....God is in the midst of her,she shall not be moved.
When you have had enough of what the world offers,life is seeming to swallow up all your joy,life is not what the world and Satan has promised you,its time to hit those knees and cry out to God for the help He has promised. Satan will attack you more and more as you try to serve God,but remember the river that flows from deep within. God is there!!! My prayer: Heavenly  Father,thank you for sending your only begotten Son to rescue me and my wretched soul from the pits of Hell,and continue to draw all mankind to you through your Holy Spirit,in Jesus name i pray AMEN.

HEARTS SET.

A short blog to remind us that people and nations have always set their heads and hearts against the one and only true God. Good examples are John 19:12; Acts 24:5; and Jeremiah 37:13-14.
When God's prophets in the Old Testament and Christian preachers under the new covenant of Jesus Christ, preach it like God leads,and the way the Holy Bible says it,they too step on many toes. There words are considered to be coming from them, instead of from God,and they instantly become a threat to their power. Believe this, when God inspired words are ignored, bad things will surely follow. In the book of Amos, this actually happened. According to historical records,all the warnings to Israel happened even if it took 50 years,and it did,it happened.What is my point?
Please do not be hard hearted with your head set against the Lord,just because you love your sin and worldly life to much to give it up. Lets pray for America that God will draw all those in our nation that are set against Christ, to Him thru His Holy Spirit. Amen. For those who are saved,and backslidden,come back to the Lord. Read what can happen to those that do not.(Amos chapter 8 verse 10).

WE....CAN.....

Amos never wanted to Speak for God. Who was Amos?  He was one of the Minor Prophets. Not least important but the one least likely to be a Prophet if left up to most people. He was a sheep herder and a pruner of trees. When he was led by the Lord to speak,he bypassed all the crowds and went directly to the ruling class of the time,and shouted out that the nation of Israel had forgotten God's law. They were following false gods and had developed religious ceremonies that had become a sham....in other words they were practicing  ceremonies presenting things that were not real,or true.Other words used are bogus or just plain false. Amos called out for fairness in dealing with righteousness (AMOS 5:24). "But let judgement run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream"How does this relate to us today? Tons of churches going away from clear Bible doctrine,and making up their own. Conducting types of worship services that are just plain disrespectful to the way our Lord should be worshiped. Drawing huge crowds to listen to carnal songs with props,and then preaching some sort of message wrapped around the words and beat of the music. All designed to draw huge crowds and raise huge amounts of money. I am sure the Lord is not pleased with unrepentant,lets all feel good worship. No message of repentance, being accountable for our actions etc.I know its not popular,but hey....God never promised us it would be.Jesus is love,but he is also the one who will judge the world for it's sin. This is why we must talk to Him(Pray) and let him talk to us (read the Holy Bible). Do all this and never cease. The Lord God of Armies should be reverence in a way that shows we are preparing to meet Him.Look at just how stubborn  people can be while protecting the sin in their hearts and lives.....read the 11th verse of the 4th chapter of Amos. "I DESTROYED SOME OF YOU AS I DESTROYED SODOM AND GOMORRAH. YOU WERE LIKE A BURNING LOG SNATCHED FROM A FIRE.  AND STILL YOU DIDN'T RETURN TO ME,DECLARES THE LORD. The point of all this is the God i serve controls all the elements of the universe i live in. I owe Him the respect he deserves when He calls me from my shameful self-in.dul.gent life i came from. I had Faith in Christ,but was not aware He had anything for me to do. I had to repent then seek his will for my life,then just obey Him. This is what Little nobody (so we thought) Amos did.  God called Him and he did as he was told.You can to.

YOU MAY HAVE REASON.

In the 19th chapter of 2nd Samuel,we find a man with a heart like Jesus, Almost,His name was King David.People had cursed him,lied to him so that he was not sure about them.He had conflicts with some people and He resolved them by forgiving them.Did he have reason to be angry and vengeful,but instead he treated these people as if they deserved to sit at the best seats at the table etc. He showed tons of mercy to those that cursed him,threatened him,and in some cases deserved to be put to death. The longer i live,and the more i mingle with people,even my fellow Christian brothers and sisters, i seem to find myself as the target for people that say crude things,hurt my feelings a little bit,especially when i do not feel well. But i must let the Holy Spirit show me how Christ sees them.And He does and it gives me peace that can only come from Him. Its called working through conflicts under the direction of the Holy Spirit.Lord help me show mercy when i am working through my conflicts,and then for those that stand with me help me show them gratitude.

DO IT REGARDLESS OF THE RESULTS.

EZEKIEL WAS CHARGED WITH DELIVERING A MESSAGE THAT WAS UNPOPULAR AND DOWN RIGHT HATED BY THE JEWISH PEOPLE. The lord wanted Ezekiel to not be afraid and deliver the bad news even though he knew the people would reject it. The Lord told him the outcome. The bible says that the Spirit entered Ezekiel and stood him up to speak to him. Wow. in today's world and under the new covenant the Holy spirit dwells within us. He reminds us of what the Father has told the son and what the son tells us. God's order was to eat the words of God,get them in the belly,and then go preach his word.Today we must eat the word of God. And then we can go.(EZEKIEL CHAPTER 2 AND CHAPTER 3.) This is still the message today. Take it serious and go.Study and study seriously and place the gospel of Christ,and the full council of God in your inner most parts of your soul. I know i want the lord to revive me,and fire me up so i can obey His word. so long for now. My church is having revival services tonight and tomorrow night and i don't want to miss a single word. praying for revival. My prayer: Heavenly Father draw all men to you. those that are lost,and those that are saved but indifferent. Amen.

BRING REVIVAL.

Three things not so easy to do. Or they are as long as we stay close to the things that are closest to us. Rejoicing in hope,patient in tribulation, continuing instant in prayer (Romans ch 12:vs12) In the present church, finding people who are willing to sell out to Jesus and do the previous three things can be difficult. The truth is we are forgetful of Christ in our everyday life. Because it is natural to pay more attention to whats closesest to us physically. Our families,careers,homes,houses,material things etc. 

These things affect us the most. so lets look at this. Long story short,while most of the things closest to us physically are things we feel we must have to live,yet idolizing them is our choice. 

ROMANS CHAPTER 12:VS 2, Be not conformed to this world:but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind,that ye may prove that good and acceptable ,and perfect,will of God. In the course of our everyday life,we will receive that transformation by giving the Lord time to pray,time to study the scripture,and last but not least, praying continuing.

Psalm 119:vs 105..."THY WORD IS A LAMP UNTO MY FEET,AND A LIGHT UNTO MY PATH. My Prayer: Heavenly Father,draw all mankind to you,and among your church bring revival. Amen.

 

WHAT HE HAS SHOWN ME....MAKE IT THE LORD'S.

 A prophet living in perilous times. His name was Ezekiel. He was one of three prophets that were also Priest. Unlike Jeremiah who was chosen from his mothers womb, Ezekiel was called by God at the age of 30. He lived in Babylon not by choice but as a captive. Judah a tribe of Israel was being judged for their sin. Ezekiel was called of God to speak only the words that God himself placed in his mouth. He was to do it regardless of Judah's refusal to listen and obey.God made it clear to Ezekiel that his people would not heed the message. Ezekiel was not being sent to argue with the people, or try to impress them with his knowledge,wisdom or power. He was to just repeat what the Lord said to them. okay....what does this have to do with me? From my previous blog i said stay tuned in so i can let you know what the Lord tells me to do with my friends. He simply says repeat my words. Not my words but words from God's Holy writ. (Holy Bible) He reminds me that its not about me ,but Him(the lord).He also lets me know that it is not up to me to save anyone,or change peoples hearts. He calls whom He wishes. His Holy Spirit convicts who God chooses. I must be obedient to teach his words, and let Him reap the Harvest.Doing what God says to do regardless of the outcome is what i am task to do.What about you. In the business of preaching,numbers are all important. most of the time speaking to small crowds is discouraging,yet God may say its just fine.Wow. IF we cannot learn to lift each other up(edify) or learn to forgive,by seeing each other thru the eyes of Christ,then maybe God will not subject strangers to our lessons,sermons,or fellowships.We must learn through the the eyes of Jesus first. Take care of who is in front of us. Have REVIVAL within ourselves. Then God will bless,and grow us.....Maybe....if that is his will. Stop worrying about it. Just obey and let God grow the church as He sees fit. Make it the Lords battle. Read the book of Ezekiel and tell me obeying God is always easy. Its not. But the joy of knowing your right with God is overwhelming.God bless.

SATAN DOES......HOW CAN I ???

So many people today, resent being preached to. I was one of those even when i was born again, but back slidden. Thats how i know so much about the subject. As i repented and began to get involved in a local church,i have been shown so many things by the Lord. I have been shown that i have been given a new family. I must say an extended family.Every single person in this church,i love.They are my family.They love me as well and they show it. I teach Sunday School every Sunday morning,and actually what is happening is As God teaches me,i teach the class.We learn,and relearn together.AWESOME !!! The Lord is showing me how to see them as He sees them. My flesh fights with me. Satan does me just as he must have done Christ when he tempted Him. He shows me the bad side of all of them. Their hardhearted side and the many different moods they can be in. Well guess what the Lord shows me???
He shows me that i am exactly like them and maybe even worse. Wow!!! surely not me???
The evil one(Satan) also shows me that they are so fickle,when it comes to actually studying scripture. I must say ....not all of them,but enough. So i begin ,sometimes, to wonder to myself and the Lord, is my teaching doing any good for our flock,my precious new family???  Satan says no,shows me all their faults,then says i am wasting my time. Wow!
I love these people very much,how can i do that???  Then comes
"THUS SAITH THE LORD"  What He shows me is coming up in my next blog. Stay tuned in.

GOD IS AWAKE, AND WAITING.

Men must always pray,and not to faint.
Always pray....amd not grow weary.
Matthew chapter 18:verse 1. It is after midnight here..But God is still awake.m1

Eternity somewhere.

Good evening: tonight i wish to leave everyone with the reminder that in the book of Luke chapter 17 beginning with the 20th verse.
Jesus foretells His second coming. He makes it clear that no one can predict with absolute certainty when the kingdom of God cometh. Jesus makes it clear in these passages that it's nothing you can point to,or put your finger on. Why? Because it is within us. If you have been saved by God's grace,then God's Holy Spirit resides in each of us. Christ also says as the lightning shines in one part of the heavens and then shineth in another part of heaven, so shall the son of man be in his day.(When He returns.) Christ also says that as it was in the days of Noah,so shall it be in the days of the son of man.Then Christ reminded them(Pharisees ) of the way things were in Lots days, all the building,eating,planting,drinking. It will be that way when Christ returns. Then....Christ reveals who will stay behind and who will rapture,verses 33 thru 37 of the 17th chapter of  Luke.
Okay,i know to some this is an old story,yet i believe there are hundreds of thousands of people on this planet who are not familiar
with what Jesus said it would be like.Tonight i pray for His return,yet i shutter at the thought of all that are lost,and on their way to a devils hell.Everyone that is alive tonight will spend eternity somewhere. I pray they seek the lord out while it is today.Do not go to sleep without Jesus.no amount of money,or social status is worth losing your soul.If you are saved but backslid away from the Lord,living how you please and care not about what pleases the Father and the Son,come back home. Rekindle the flame of your heart towards the Savior before you have to face Him. Live for Him,and if needs be,suffer for His name sake.
God knows we have to survive and make a living. include the Lord
and let the Holy Spirit run your life.He will see that our every need is met,and He will protect us.Just as He did Isaiah,Jeremiah,Moses,Ezekiel...and all the disciples and believers in the New Testament. Time is running out. Turn your lives over to Christ. My prayer:Let your kingdom reign inside of each of us.
AMEN,so be it.

THE BIBLE WAY TO HEAVEN.

 "For the wages of sin is death (Romans 3:23)
Recognize your condition (Romans 3:23)
Believe that Christ died for you (Romans 5:8)
Trust Christ alone as your Saviour) Romans 3:23.
Have Faith in Christ, that's what will save you.
If someone reading this is not a believer, Read the above scripture,
and accept Christ, by believing  He is the rewarder of those that diligently seek Him.I would cherish seeing you someday in Heaven forever with Christ. My prayer: Lord draw all men and women and young people to you,through your Holy Spirit.AMEN.

PLANT THE SEED.

The book of  luke  CHAPTER  18:VSS - 15 THRU 17. And they brought to Him infants,that He would touch them:but when the disciples saw this they rebuked them(the little children)
Probably the disciples were thinking Jesus's time was to precious to
be messing around with infants. So Jesus responded by saying unless we humble ourselves as a child, when we come to Jesus we must be humble as a child to enter the Kingdom of God. it is sad to note that most of the time we Christians are very proud and not humble. Jesus was speaking about our faith. I
 must say that i am so glad when i was just a child, that a small  Little church had a pastor and some members who told me about Jesus and who He was. It led to my Faith in Christ, and now i can say i have been saved for 52 years.The first time i heard about Christ i was just 8 yrs old.  4 yrs later i repented of being a sinner,and Christ filled me with the Holy Ghost. I now praise God for all the churches that have VBS . We must accept that in most cases with children, it takes months and maybe years.before our message to them  results into someones salvation.
We must be consistent with our teaching and preaching and testifying about what the Lord has done in our lives. Little eyes and ears are watching,and listening. it could take years to reap the rewards.Don't give up, keep preaching the word, in season and out of  season. you plant the seed and let the Lord reap the harvest.
The main issue hear is .....come to Christ before there is no more time for you, come to him with a spirit of humility,repent of your sin, and you will be filled with the Holy Ghost and you will be accepted into God's Kingdom,forever and ever.Amen....so be it.

GRANT ME WHAT I ASK !

GOOD MORNING. This morning my thoughts are on why. Why cannot the doctors find my issue. why kick the can down the road to other doctors,and while i wait,i suffer. Is God allowing this for a purpose,or is because i am a sinner and i am paying for my past sins? I believe there are millions around this world asking this same thing. My earnest prayer for you is for you all to seek God's face on this issue. i have and He directed me to The book of Job chapter 31.and 1st Chronicles chapter4:vss 9-10.
 In chapter 29 of Job we see what God had given Job and in chapter 30,what God had taken away,then in chapter 31 we see Job defending himself before God. In 1st Chronicles we see where prayer led to a need being granted by God.  I to ask God why,and then i defend my change in life,and He is answering me.  His answer to one prayer is this....HEBREWS CH.10:VS 36. HE SAYS I HAVE NEED OF ENDURANCE. VS 37, for in a little while ,He that shall come,will come,and will not tarry.vs 38,  He also says in vs 38, He reminds me that the just live by Faith. He reminds me that i am not like them who draw back unto perdition,but unto them that believe unto the saving of the soul. Perdition is a state of eternal punishment where sinful unpenitent persons pass after death. I believe,unto the saving of the soul,in the HEAVENLY FATHER AND HIS SON,JESUS CHRIST.  My prayer:Dear Heavenly Father,if it be thy will that this cup of pain,i must endure....then help me Father,in Jesus name to endure. And help those around me that try to help,and do help me be able to endure. Amen.

Why me Lord?

There may be some that say  why Wayne Lord. I'm sure there are many that may say I'm not good enough. And then of course there's me and I sometimes say I'm not good enough why me Lord? Here's God's answer to all of us who asked that question. 1st Corinthians chapter 1 versus 26 and 27. For you see your calling brethren how that not many wise men after the flesh not many mighty not many noble are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. And God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty. My prayer dear H

eavenly Father thank you for loving me enough to call me to speak on your behalf draw all men to you through your Holy Spirit amen.

The pure truth

Where is the wise? Where is the Scribe? Where is the disputer of this world? Hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom new not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. 1st Corinthians chapter one versus 20 and 21. My brothers and sisters this was all said so that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. 1st Corinthians chapter 2 verse 5. The other day while I was eating out I overheard a young man remark that after all the Bible was written by men. Yes it was written by men filled with the Holy Ghost speaking the words that they were told to speak and writing the words they were told to write. Have a very blessed day to all my brothers and sisters in Christ day. For those who do not believe the Bible says this 1st Corinthians chapter 1 verse 18 for the preaching of the cross to them that perish is foolishness but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. Please be saved turn your life over to Jesus Christ live for him wholeheartedly waste no time. My prayer : Heavenly Father please use all the power that is within you in these evil days two convicted man kind of their sin show them dramatically their need for you. Draw all men through the Holy Ghost to your Saving Grace. Before it's too late for them. I ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ my savior and Redeemer amen.

A GLORIOUS EVENT.

Never whine at God's result's. Jonah did. Chapter 3 of the book of Jonah.Jonah was told to arise and go to this great assyrian city,and preach to it. At first he ran.Yet God followed him. Finally Jonah did. After being swallowed by a huge fish,then Jonah repented,was vomited up. He is told by God again to go preach to Nineveh. This rime Jonah did. Great results,they repented,including the king. Yet Jonah hated Nineveh so much,he pouted and was very angry at God for forgiving Nineveh. For more information, read the 4 short chapters of this book.Don't be mad when God saves your adversary. It's a glorious event.God loves you.
Ain't God Great.

CONFIDENCE.

Confidence in the forgiveness God gives us.This is the topic.You can have it.King David lets us know in Psalm 32:1-2. Whose sin is covered expresses the confidence.(vs 2)  When you have ask for forgiveness,and repented of the sin,you are blessed.Regardless of what family,friends ,enemies,Satan,or even your own conscience tells you,trust these Bible verses,claim them...and live in the true peace of God. Study the life and ministry of Jonah and you will see that running from the calling God has placed on your life,will not lead to peace.God will follow you and continually give you chances to obey Him.If you do not know Gods will for your life,then follow the instructions of Jeremiah chapter 29:vs 13. Many people over the years have not really desired to know God's plans for their life.
MY PRAYER: Heavenly Father draw all men to you,through your Holy Spirit. I pray all luke warm people will get a passion to know you,by reading and studying your scriptures. Amen. I WISH TO DECLARE.......RIGHT NOW.

Do you believe the words of the Apostle Paul? Just as today,people doubt. Some just outright deny.Refuse to believe  the words of Jesus or any scripture.One thing i noticed today in my studies,is that The Apostle Paul said this in (1st Corinthians chapter 14:vs 37).
If anyone thinks that he is a prophet,or spiritual,he should acknowledge that what i am writing to you is a command of the Lord." The apostle Paul made it clear that his directives to the church at Corinth were not merely his words,but a command of the Lord.
This is a short blog showing just How powerful the study of Gods word is to us.To me it reaffirms my Faith in the OT. scriptures and the N.T. scriptures as the ordained word of God Himself.The apostles ,then,have authority to write words that are God's own words,equal in truth status and authority to the words of the old Testament Scriptures.They do this to  record,interpret,and apply to the lives of believers the great truths about the life ,death,and resurrection of Christ.Today before i finish writing ,i wish to declare that i believe the Holy Bible all 66 books,Genesis to Revelation,to be the inspired word of God.Do you? Studying lately on the topic "The word of God" . A very much needed by all of us lesson.There is the word of God as a person,the Word of God as speech by God.God's Word of personal Address,and of course God's written word,(the Bible).The Word of God as a person,Jesus Christ,in Jn 1:1 and Revelation 19:13.
The Word of God in speech....God's decrees that caused things to happen,such as genesis 1:3. genesis 1:24. God's personal Address,by speaking directly to them.Genesis 2:16-17...genesis 3:16-19...exodus 20:1-3...Matthew 3:17 !
God's word thru the lips of man,example Deuteronomy 18:18-20.
God spoke through Jeremiah, Jeremiah 1:9.
And of course the Bible....starting with the ten commandments EX 31:18...Ex 32:16,34:1,28. More writing by Moses,and Joshua,and Isaiah,and also the N.T.
The purpose of this is purpose.God himself gives us plenty imformation,to purpose in our Hearts that He is who He says He is.
Yet others purpose not to believe.My prayer:Lord...please draw men to you,through your written word,so they can purposely choose to believe and follow you.AMEN.

BOLD BUT HUMBLE. I CLEARLY LOVE.

My thoughts this morning,are of the prophet Daniel. Things he did,things he saw.One thing he did was engage in a partial fast.Why? Because he was in mourning for the conditions of returning captives.He fasted so his prayers would be more intense.(Daniel 10:3)  Our prayer life is vital. Vital so we can receive answers from God concerning our needs,and also offering up praises to Christ our King.Sometimes it helps to be humble.Bold ,but humble.Later an angel appeared to Daniel,chapter 10:vs 5-6.there were other people with Daniel yet they saw nothing,Daniel 10:vss 7-9.The other people sensed a powerful and terrifying presence but saw nothing.They ran and hid.(reference acts 9:3-7.) The next part i clearly love. DANIEL FELL INTO A DEEP SLEEP,(DANIEL 10:9) The angel gave Daniel strength,and informed him that God had heard him from the first day of the 3 weeks of prayer he was involved in. Wow.My prayer: Heavenly Father help us realize we need to be as passionate as Daniel when we pray,and remember that you are watching us. Thank you Lord for watching me. help me expect powerful intervention by you. Amen.

A DIVINE FEEL.

The lord at work in the midst of a disobedient servant, My goodness.Even the rain and the wind and sea were obedient to God Almighty.(JONAH 1:4-6).They were obedient to God's purpose.The sudden storm had something of a divine feel to it.The sailors on this ship with a believer running from his calling,prayed to their individual gods.Remember this was a society that was polytheistic.
They believed in many gods.My studies show me that there is a difference in calling out for help than calling out in repentance.
The captain of this ship even ordered the believer to pray,and it is apparent that his prayers were not answered at this time. The believer is none other but Jonah.This could be that this is an example of how God does not answer the prayer of a disobedient believer right away.It also shows me that there must be true repentance first. "Arise and call upon thy God" the captain said to Jonah.We must all pray for deliverance while this world perishes. (Romans 13:11.) we MUST ARISE FROM OUR SLEEP as a nation and repent first,then call on God for deliverance. AMEN.

THE GREATEST REMEDY.

This afternoon Jesus is my shepherd,the one i listen to. The one and only i respond to. Any other i flee from.Ya think so? well not. I have been foolish for years leaning on my understanding that i could help God out by leaning to my understanding and part of that was being sure (so i thought) that i could do his work in my life by myself.In other words not waiting on Him and what he actually planned for me.This story this morning is about that subject.The results of it. Look at chapter 10 of the book of John the Gospel.I will start by saying something odd to you. Are you out there in this world,with a changed life,after many years of sin,disobedience,doing God's will your way? Has your family shunned you publicly,yet privately they say they love you,yet they act as if you had a disease that might rub off on them.You watch them and they seem to have time for everything except you.You go see them,they are very nice,treat you well but yet if you do not extend yourself towards them,you will never see or hear from them.Let me say this...i have experienced this,i will not lie.But i have the remedy to this.FORGIVE. It is what should drive you.Get close to God and when you do He will tell you, you do not have to focus on that.Focus on Him(CHRIST).Let the Holy Spirit Clean your act up.Your life is your testimony and that my friends includes your bad past.Case in point,Sampson,Moses,Paul,King Saul,King David,and the list can go on and on.You must forgive.I did not say just an apology,i said forgive.You must be sincere,holding no grudges.By doing so,you will be victorious in your Christian walk.You will also love your family even more,and guess what?...you will not have to chase them.This goes for anyone you feel hurt by,and then you truly forgive them.Then watch God open up doors to serve Him.Do not play with God,you must be sincere and accepting of God leading you through life.Other issues will arise ,but follow the same practice. Remember, forgiving is an on going thing.You will always be required to do this. It will keep you on your knees,humble before God,but it will free your soul of issues you do not need to carry around as baggage.You will have peace with God.You will be used of God.Wow!!! Stop following strangers.Flee from them,and you will if your saved.John chapter 10:vss 4 and 5.Please read it.My Prayer: Heavenly Father.draw all people to you through your Holy Spirit.Amen.

I THINK NOT. CHRIST HAS THE POWER TO BACK US UP.

A couple of points this morning,a lie  that exist till this day.Soldiers watching over the grave site of Jesus,after his disappearance,went into the city and met with the chief priest of the Jewish people.They assembled,took council,with elders of the church. They gave large amounts of money to the soldiers to tell a lie about what happened to Jesus's body.They said His disciples had come in the night and stolen the body ,while the soldiers slept.Not a good lie,because if they slept,how would they have known the disciples stole his body?

These same disciples that hid during the execution,suddenly had the nerve to raid a tomb right under the noses of Roman Soldiers. I think not.There seems to have been many writings ,hundreds of years after Christ that continued to spread that lie.And in effect it is still the argument of  Atheist and other religions to this day.

Totally ignoring the fact that over 500 eyewitnesses had seen Jesus after his death and burial,before His going up into heaven.Even some of the disciples were doubtful about the events ....but....were later convinced when they saw Jesus themselves.(All scripture in Matthew chapter 28: vss 11-18.) I must add that even after Jesus was seen some doubted. My previous comment was about the fact that in vs 18...Jesus came and spake unto them.

Okay ,now my second point. VSS 19 and 20 we see a reason Christians witness to people.Christ himself tells us GO,teach all nations.A very short but powerful comment i must add is that VS 18 also says that ALL power is given to Jesus in heaven and in earth. 

It is with that degree of power ,that we as Christians can  witness with power.Christ has the power to back us up. It is for His glory ,not ours.

My prayer:Heavenly Father,convict all men of their sin. Show them the error of their ways. Use us as you will to help guide them to you.I n Christ name...AMEN.

THE SHORT OF IT.

Good early morning it is.I have been up reading the word of God,and so much the Lord is showing me. One day i will not have to read His word any longer because i will be with the Word.(John 1:1) But for right now, I am reminded in the book of Romans chapter 5:vs 10,that when man was first created by God,he was perfect in every way, without sin.But then through the act of one man(ADAM) man sinned,and became something he was never mean't to be. We became enemies to God. But Alas....through one man (JESUS CHRIST) we are reconciled back to God. Yet not in a perfect way. Our spirits have become perfect because Christ died ,then resurrected. Our flesh must be changed either by the return of Christ,or by death. The short of it is ,we that are saved,will receive a new body.Now to swing the story around a bit....question? Do you have peace this morning.Not the peace the world gives,but the peace of God that passes all understanding? You can have.Romans chapter 5:1 says when you are justified,it will be by faith. Do you have Faith in Christ? If you accept Gods gift of salvation, you will have Peace.My prayer: Heavenly Father,draw any lost soul that reads this .....to you. Save them,so they can have peace.AMEN.

NOTHING TO FEAR.

Oh today we honor the day Jesus carried his own cross,after a horrible torture had already taken place.Just the thought of this ordeal,humbles my heart because my sin was so bad that He had to leave his place in heaven,come here today shed his blood so that i can have eternal life with Him.Can i carry my cross and follow Him? I must. He(Christ) compels me to do exactly that.Yet i know that Christ rose from the grave with a mighty triumph over his foes.Go to church Sunday. You have nothing to fear. If you are not saved (born again,regenerated....) Then my prayer is that the Holy Spirit will convict you of your sin,and draw you to him. Oh what a wonderful day. Amen.

EVERYDAY YOUR EASTER.

ON THIS GOOD FRIDAY,LET CHRIST BE YOUR LIFE.WHY?
BECAUSE WHEN HE APPEARS,THEN YE ALSO WILL APPEAR WITH HIM IN GLORY.AFTER CHRIST RESURRECTION HE WAS HERE ON EARTH 40 DAYS.THEN HE ASCENDED INTO HEAVEN SENT HIS HOLY SPIRIT TO COMFORT US,AND TEACH US ALL THINGS HE WANTS US TO KNOW.LUKE 24;50-51. SEE ALSO ACTS CHAPTER 1:9-11.
THESE EVENTS SHOW THAT CHRIST DID NOT JUST DISAPPEAR,HE WENT TO A PLACE.THE DISCIPLES WATCHED HIM ASCEND INTO HEAVEN. AND ANGELS TOLD US HE WOULD COME BACK THE SAME WAY HE LEFT US.PLEASE DO NOT LET THIS BE JUST A ONCE A YEAR THING FOR YOU. LET EVERYDAY BE EASTER.GO TO CHURCH SUNDAY AND EVERY WEEK AFTERWARDS.HEAR THE WORD OF GOD PREACHED AND TAUGHT. MY PRAYER: FATHER....CONVICT MANKIND OF THEIR SIN,DRAW THEM TO YOUR SON THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT.AMEN

AS LONG AS IT IS.

ITS LATE NIGHT VERY EARLY MORNING HERE. BUT SOMETHING HAS BEEN ON MY HEART ALL EVENING. I WAS READING THE 11TH CHAPTER OF HEBREWS TODAY,AND GOD LAID THIS OM MY HEART. VERSES 24,25,26,27.
MOSES MAKING RADICAL CHOICES THAT FOREVER CHANGED HIS DESTINY.HE GAVE UP A POWERFUL POSITION IN THE WORLD,TO SUFFER AFFLICTION WITH THE PEOPLE OF GOD. TODAY WHAT ARE MOST    PEOPLE ESTEEMING? ARE WE WILLING TO GIVE UP THE WORLD AND ALL ITS GLORY.AFTER ALL YOU CANNOT TAKE IT WITH YOU.MOSES GAVE UP EVERYTHING INCLUDING EGYPT AND HIS POWERFUL POSITION.HE HAD HIS EYES ON GOD,FIXED HIS HEART AND MARCHED FORWARD. MY POINT IS THIS......AS YOU THOUGHTS RUN TO YOUR WORLDLY CARES AND CONCERNS,FOCUS ON THE SPIRITUAL SIDE AND GIVE IT ALL TO THE LORD.I CAN ASSURE YOU THAT THINGS DONE IN THE SPIRIT ,WILL GO WITH YOU.  AS AN ELDER MAN ONCE TOLD ME BACK OVER 30 YEARS AGO,QUOTE" THE ONLY THING WE TAKE WITH US WHEN WE DIE,IS PEOPLE" DO AS MOSES DID.....CHOOSE WISELY.HIS PARENTS DID WHEN HE WAS JUST A CHILD,MOSES DID WHEN HE WALKED AWAY FROM RICHES AND EARTHLY POWER,YOU WILL NEVER GO WRONG FOLLOWING CHRIST.MY PRAYER: FATHER, HELP ME STAY FOCUSED ON YOU AND YOUR WILL. I WANT TO ESTEEM ANYTHING THAT HAPPENS,AS LONG AS IT IS FOR THE HONOR AND GLORY OF YOUR SON JESUS CHRIST. (AMEN)

WHAT KINDA MAN ARE YOU? IS THIS JUDGING?

ARE YOU A RELIGIOUS MAN? ARE YOU AN ATHEIST? ARE YOU WELL EDUCATED? DO YOU BELONG TO A CHURCH AND YOU TITHE,HOLD A POSITION IN THE CHURCH? HAVE YOU BEEN ON THE SAME JOB FOR A VERY LONG TIME? HAVE YOU RETIRED FROM A COMPANY,THE MILITARY ETC. HAVE YOU BEEN MARRIED TO THE SAME PERSON FOR MANY YEARS AND YOU ARE SO SO PROUD OF THAT???  WELL THERE WAS A MAN OF THE PHARISEES ,IN CHAPTER 3 OF THE BOOK OF ST. JOHN,AND HE WAS MUCH LIKE SO MANY PEOPLE IN TODAY'S WORLD.
THIS MANS NAME WAS NICODEMUS,AND HE THOUGHT IS POSITION IN THE JEWISH CHURCH GUARANTEED HIM A PLACE IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD. THIS MAN CAME TO JESUS TO INQUIRE ABOUT THIS SUBJECT. JESUS MADE CLEAR THAT FIRST BEING BORN IN THE FLESH WAS A MUST,THEN YOU MUST BE BORN OF THE SPIRIT. BEFORE THIS MAN COULD ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD,THESE REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET.SO YOU MAY SAY WHAT IS MY POINT. HOW GREAT WE ARE IN OUR OWN EYES,WILL NOT GET US INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD.IF THESE WORDS MAKE YOU MAD,MOST LIKELY YOUR NOT SAVED,OR YOU HAVE SPENT WAY TO MANY YEARS AS A CARNAL CHRISTIAN,THAT YOU ACTUALLY DO NOT WANT TO HEAR THE TRUTH OF JESUS AND HIS WORD.IS THIS JUDGING? YEP,AND JESUS IS DOING IT.SOMETHING ELSE TO NOTE IN THIS STORY. JESUS ASK THIS MAN HOW COULD HE BE A LEADER IN HIS CHURCH, HAVING BEEN TAUGHT THE SCRIPTURE,(THE OT.) AND HE NOT COMPREHEND WHAT JESUS WAS SAYING. HEAR IS WHY.......1ST CORINTHIANS CHAPTER 2:14 ...THE CARNAL MAN CANNOT UNDERSTAND,BECAUSE HE DOES NOT RECEIVE THE THINGS OF THE SPIRIT.THEY ARE FOOLISHNESS TO THE CARNAL MAN.THERE IS ANOTHER
CARNAL SITUATION THAT EXIST. RELIGIOUS PEOPLE THAT THINK AND ACT CARNAL MAY NOT BE BORN AGAIN. 1ST CORINTHIANS CHAPTER 3:VERSE 3, THE APOSTLE PAUL MENTIONED MANY THINGS THAT OCCUR BECAUSE OF CARNALITY.ENVYING,STRIFE,DIVISIONS. i CONTEND WITH YOU TO SAY THAT THIS IS THE ROOT OF SO MUCH DIVISION AND HARD FEELINGS AMONG CHURCH MEMBERS AND CHURCH LEADERS. WHEN PEOPLE ARE NOT WALKING CLOSE TO THE LORD,THE ONLY OTHER RECOURSE IS TO BE CREATING STRIFE. OR.....GOD FORBID,YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN. THESE ARE STRONG WORDS ,BUT I GET THIS INFORMATION FROM RELIABLE SOURCES. THE APOSTLE PAUL,AND THE LORD JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF.STAYING IN THE WORD OF GOD,AND STAYING PRAYED UP,WILL ASSURE US ALL THAT WE WILL LEAD AND LIVE A TRUE SPIRITUAL LIFE.ONE WITH JESUS.
MY PRAYER: HEAVENLY FATHER,THANK YOU FOR SHOWING US HOW TO BE BORN AGAIN. AND MAY WE RAISE YOUR SON UP AS MOSES RAISED UP THE SERPENT IN THE WILDERNESS. ST JOHN CHAPTER 3:VERSE 14. AMEN.

A THANKFUL HEART.

As i study my Sunday School lesson, the HOLY SPIRIT touches my heart about so many things . This time it is a very educated Jewish man that has my attention.He was suppose to know enough about Old Testament scripture to be able to figure out what "Ye must be born again" means. Read the awesome scripture in Eze. chapter 36:
vss 26-27. When you believe....God himself takes care of it for you.
This is just one of many OT. scriptures that told the Jewish people exactly what the Lord had in mind.God makes us alive with Christ. Reference James chapter 1:1-17 where it is said that God ...of His own will,has brought us forth.Reference 1st Peter 1:3 for the fact that through God's abundant mercy he has given us new birth.
I leave you with this short message,so i can go get ready for a revival service tonight. Remember ,ye must be born again,to spend eternity with God himself.

COME HOME...YOU CAN BE ALSO...I FEEL IT.

Lord,how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.Many there be which say of my soul,there is no help for him in God.Se-lah.A psalm of David psalm 3 vss 1-2.
Is there some one out there lost,or backslidden away fro the lord this early morning. Has your life slipped away from you? Are you feeling like no one cares. Are you possibly thinking of ending your life. Saying what is it worth? Let me tell ya.......Almighty God made himself man,and paid the supreme price for your soul,and He cares what happens to you.Get on your face,knees,or however you have to so you can say these words from the 3rd verse of psalm  3. But thou oh Lord are a shield for me,my glory,and the lifter up of my head.Praise God today,that he spared my soul from a devils hell,and regardless of what man may say,i am washed in the blood,saved by the grace of God forever.You can be also,and if you are,and living like the devil,come home......come home where you belong.God loves you,and so do i. MY PRAYER: DEAR HEAVENLY FATHER,AS I WRITE,SOMEWHERE OUT THERE IN THIS WORLD,THERE ARE MANY MILLIONS OF SOULS IN TROUBLE.NO PEACE IN THERE HEARTS. CONVICT THEM,AND DRAW THEM TO YOU.SPEAK TO THEM...THEY NEED YOUR HELP NOW. I FEEL IT.AMEN. I love you all ,goodnight.

TURN.... THE EVIL HE THOUGHT.

ISN'T IT A SHAME,THAT BACKSLIDING IS SO EVIDENT IN OUR LIVES. ISN'T IT SAD THAT UNBELIEVERS REGARD NOT, GOD JEHOVAH? LOST OR A BACKSLIDER,THE REQUIREMENT TO RECEIVE GODS MERCY IS PURE SINCERE REMORSE AND REPENTANCE.IF WE TRY TO FOOL THE LORD WE ARE THE FOOLISH. VERSE 12 OF THE BOOK OF JOEL,CHAPTER 2. WE MUST TURN WITH ALL OUR HEARTS,WITH FASTING AND WEEPING,AND WITH MOURNING!!! WHO KNOWS..VS 13,HE MAY REPENT OF THE EVIL HE HAS PLANNED FOR US.REMEMBER,AFTER JONAH PREACHED TO NINEVEH,NINEVEH REPENTED AND GOD SPARED THEM,YET ROUGHLY A CENTURY LATER GOD DESTROYED THEM. THEY BACKSLID.IN THE 1ST AND 2ND CHAPTER OF JOEL,THE LORD FIRST SENT HIS ARMY OF LOCUST TO DESTROY THE ECONOMY OF JUDAH. THEN HE TOLD THEM TO REPENT AND HOW TO REPENT,AND THEN HE WOULD SHOW THEM MERCY.
BY THE WAY,THE SUBJECT OF THE STORY IN THE BOOK OF NAHUM,WAS STRICTLY FOCUSED  ON THE DESTRUCTION OF NINEVEH.MY POINT IS,WE MUST REGARD GOD. WE MUST UNDERSTAND THAT ALONG WITH THE ABSOLUTE FACT THAT GOD BEING HOLY,HE MUST JUDGE AND PUNISH SIN.YET HE ALWAYS SHOWS US HOW WE CAN RECEIVE HIS MERCY.NINEVEH AND JUDAH.ANY NATION,THAT REGARDS NOT THE GOD OF THE HOLY BIBLE,CAN TURN AND RECEIVE HEALING AND FORGIVENESS.READ JEREMIAH CHAPTER 18:VS 8.GOD WILL REPENT OF THE EVIL HE THOUGHT TO DO UNTO THEM. MY PRAYER: DEAR HEAVENLY HOLY FATHER,FORGIVE ME MY SIN. DRAW ALL MANKIND TO YOU.IN THESE PERILOUS TIMES. AMEN.

SPLIT.

HMM....split? Where on earth is this going?Israel was definately split after King Solomon's death. Split into.The northern Kingdom,and the southern kingdom.The southern Kingdom was called Judah. Now in this short lesson we can go many places with it,but,what is in this History of Israel that is so interesting to us? Two things for sure. God's judgement and then his merciful Love.
My Sunday School lesson this week at church is on a portion of the book of Joel,9 vss to be exact. But first the Lord leads me to research who in the world is Joel? Turns out He was one of the 12.
Another question.12 what? According to most Bible experts there were twelve minor prophets,and five major prophets.Joel was one of the 12 minor prophets....called that because their books were shorter and more focused.In this book of Joel,we see God dealing with a nation that was split. in chapter one we see how God can intervene in the economy of a nation. In chapter two we see a huge warning about what else is about to come upon this little split nation.Then the Lord tells them exactly what they must do. Then The Lord repents. WOW! We do not here of much of that in our pulpits. I started to write something else,but seems people repenting these days is not a popular message in churches anymore.Seems feel good,pat on the back services is what people want.My thoughts are going to the part where God repents.My research of scripture shows me the Lord does do that. If we repent!!!!! My thoughts go now to my country. America. A nation,the one true God has blessed ,because we regarded him in all our doings. What on earth has happened? We left our first love{REV.2:1-7} The one that first loved us 1ST JOHN CHAPTER 4:VSS 19-21}As you watch American news,all you here is how America is split.This appears to be true...3 ways. One part friends to ISLAM,another part the left over of our Christian founders,the other part Carnal secular people. If America is to suvive....vss 17 and 18 of the second chapter of Joel must happening NOW! I pray you will read the 1st and 2nd chapters of Joel,study it,let the Holy Spirit teach you.God is a Holy God,a just God,and will not allow sin to reign. Yet He always has ,and always will provide mercy. We must pray.
MY PRAYER:Heavenly Father,my nation,and me,have gone our own way. Today i fall down between this podium,(the porch) and the alter.Spare me,and my people(my country)Be jealous for our land,and pity us...your people.Amen.

HOPE INTENSIFIED.

Our sense of the future .....can become intensified as we grow in our hope of living with God forever..{quote from Wayne Grudem,systematic doctrine(the book)in reading) of Scripture and Prayer,our moral sense can become greater.Study the references such as 2nd Corinthians chapter 7:vs 1,1st Peter 1:16. We are to perfect our holiness,in the fear of God.Paul was showing through his preaching the source of his comfort in his afflictions.Are we doing that,or have become weak,and non interested? I say the latter. All my Christian brothers and sisters need reminding on a daily,weekly basis. I need reminding as well. The more i study,the more i feel the need to pray,and praise God.
The more i do this the more my hope is intensified.How can we raise children,feel the pain of our fellow brethren and sisters in the Lord,and function daily in our lives,without regarding God? There are so many to pray for,so many to help.You can research the book of Joel,one of the minor prophets,in the first 2 chapters.Its a story of sin and disobedience,and the need for men to repent.It also speaks of God himself repenting of evil He allowed to befall the nation of Israel.This is just one story out of many in the Bible that shows Gods judgement and then His mercy.Wow i could talk,write,pray and praise and never stop.Much to do in service for the Lord and His Kingdom before i die.Or before He raptures me.
My Prayer. I will fast and mourn,i will tear my heart and return to you.I know you are merciful,and forgiving,i pray you will forgive me and change your mind and not destroy me.Maybe i will see your blessings again.(A prayer from the Pray the scripture bible) AMEN.

ABIDE.

IN THE BOOK OF JOHNS GOSPEL,CHAPTER 15,THE WORD ABIDE WAS USED BY OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST AT LEAST 6 TIMES AND THE WORD ABIDETH ONE TIME.
THIS WAS ALL SPOKEN BY CHRIST AS HE WAS PREPARING TO BE LED AWAY TO BE BEATEN,CURSED,SPAT ON,HIS FLESH RIPPED TO SHREADS,THEN CRUCIFIED FOR MY SIN,AND TRESPASSES! HE WANTED TO GIVE THE DISCIPLES A LAST MINUTE PLEA FOR HOW HE WANTED THEM TO CONDUCT THEMSELVES.JUST A NOTE:THE WORD ABIDE APPEARS 82 TIMES IN 77 VERSES IN THE ENTIRE BIBLE.
IT SIMPLY MEANS TO REMAIN IN THE RELATIONAL (PERSONAL) STANDING YOU ARE IN WITH JESUS.MANY BIBLE EXPERTS WILL TELL YOU THAT THE ONLY WAY TO ACTUALLY GROW AND BARE FRUIT AS A CHRISTIAN IS TO ABIDE IN CHRIST. AND HE WITH YOU. THIS INVOLVES PRAYING,AND STUDYING THE WORD OF GOD DAILY.ALSO READ THE 1ST FEW VERSES OF THE GOSPEL OF JOHN,AND YOU WILL SEE WHO EXACTLY THE WORD IS.WHEN WE ABIDE IN HIM,THE WORD SAYS WE WILL ASK WHAT WE WILL AND IT WILL BE GIVEN TO US. DO NOT ASK AMISS,JUST TO HEAP ON YOURSELVES YOUR LUST. ITS ALL ABOUT JESUS,AND HIM REDEEMING US BACK TO HIM,FOR THE PROPER FELLOWSHIP,JUST LIKE IN THE BEGINNING.BEFORE ADAM FELL.THIS IS A SHORT BLOG,BUT A PLEA FOR THOSE LOST TO COME TO CHRIST BEFORE ITS TO LATE. BEFORE THE WORLD WAS.

EARLY THIS MORNING I WISH TO GIVE GLORY AND PRAISE TO MY LORD JESUS FOR HIS NEVER ENDING LOVE FOR ME. FOR HIS MERCY AND GRACE TO ME FOR MY ENTIRE LIFE. TO TELL HIM I FORGIVE ALL THOSE THAT HAVE TRESPASSED AGAINST ME IN MY LIFE.I PRAY THAT HE DRAW ALL MEN TO HIMSELF THROUGH HIS HOLY SPIRIT.CHRIST IS IN HEAVEN COVERED IN THE GLORY HE HAD BEFORE THE WORLD WAS.{JOHN CHAPTER 17:VS 5.}
HIS PRAYER OF INTERCESSION FOR ME HUMBLES MY HEART,AND CONVICTS MY SOUL.JESUS SAID I AM NOT OF THIS WORLD ANYMORE THAN HE WAS.READ THE 17TH CHAPTER ALL THE WY THROUGH.A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO I HAD OPEN HEART SURGERY.....I STILL AM IN RECOVERY,WITH MONTHS LEFT TO GO. YET THE THING I HAVE THE MOST PASSION FOR,IS TO LEARN MORE OF HIM. I DO NOT FEAR DEATH,BUT I PRAY THE FATHER,THAT HE WILL USE ME IN A MIGHTY WAY AS I FINISH MY COURSE HERE ON THIS EARTH.I OWE HIM A DEBT OF GRATITUDE I CANNOT REPAY...BUT WITH HIS STRENGTH I CERTAINLY WILL TRY.ANYONE AT THE OTHER END OF MY WRITING,IF YOU ARE NOT ABIDING IN CHRIST,LET ME INVITE YOU NOW.YOU WILL NOT REGRET THE RELATIONSHIP YOU WILL HAVE.I AM ONE OF THOSE MENTIONED BY CHRIST IN THE 20TH VS OF CHAPTER 17. PRAISE YOU FATHER FOR KNOWING ME BEFORE THE WORLD WAS.BEFORE I WAS IN MY MOTHERS WOMB.I LOVE YOU JESUS.MY PRAYER: FATHER FORGIVE ME MY SINS AND TRESPASSES,AS I FORGIVE THOSE THAT TRESPASSED AGAINST ME. AMEN.

No matter our end,if we have been saved,there is a glory we can rely on.1st corinthians chapter16:vs 43......actually beginning with verse 42.Concerning the
Resurrection of the dead.We are sown in corruption,raised in incorruption.We are sown in dishonour,raised in glory,sown in weakness,raised in power.All this...remember,especially,when ur Christian heart,condemns you.You will rise again,to live with Christ.This is an awesome promise.Read the entire 15th chapter of 1st corinthians.You will be blessed.Do not miss out on verses 51,52,and 53.My prayer: Father,draw all lost to you,and all backsliders back home.Amen.

WINKING AT IGNORANCE.REPENT!!!

Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars hill and said,ye men of Athens ,I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious.For as i passed by,and beheld your devotions,i found an alter with this inscription,TO THE UNKNOWN GOD.Whom you ignorantly worship,him declare i unto you.{the book of Acts chapter 17 vss 22 and 23.}The the following vss of this chapter,we see that our God made the world and all things in it. They were not made with mens hands and Our God does not dwell in temples made of men's hands.
Since God gives all life,breath,and all things.
I know that in our times in this world ,Pagan gods still exist. Men worship them and they profit them nothing.I also noticed in this chapter,Paul rebuked these people very sternly.Yet he also told them of how the Lord is not very far from any,(vs.27).
And we are His off Spring,and because of that we should know that God is not gold or silver ,or stone or graven by men.In verse 30,it says that God had winked at this ignorance,but not any more. Now He commands us to repent. MY PRAYER:Heavenly Father,i repent of my old life.I repent of my backsliding,i repent of my old desires,and ask that you forgive me.Draw all men to you. AMEN.

LEARNING TO LEAN....

Understanding,the Lord and his purpose for us,is given by the Holy Spirit,more and more as we dig into his Word.The Carnal side of a man,does not know this.Trust is something we battle with. As we realize how much man cannot be trusted,we must learn to Ttust Jesus.This is not a natural thing to do.Often i have in the course of my life,felt the need to believe the old saying"The Lord helps those that help themselves" Well...what about when we cannot help outselves? When we find ourselves in situations we had no power over,or did not bring  on ourselves?I promise you,He said ,He (Christ)would never forsake us.I truthfully can say,despite
Myself,He never has.Even when was taking
Care of myself.Yet i am still learning to lean.
As the song says,Learning to lean on Jesus.My prayer:Heavenly Father,give me much grace,as i learn to Trust you more.Amen.

Open my eyes.

Tonight after much studying of Gods word,this week,i realize that i need prayer.
Psalm 119:18....Tells me "Open my eyes,that i may behold wonderous things out  of your law." The book of James chapter 1vss 19 thru 20....and 3rd chapter vss 13, 17 -18. Tells me to not be puffed up or arrogant.The Holy Spitit gives me my understanding.(1st corinthians 2:14; Ephesians chapter 1:vss 17-19.
My prayer.Father draw all mankind to you.
Those lost,and all backsliders.I pray when they come to you,you will give them a strong passion to worship you,and serve.Amen.

I AM A WORK.

A i speak constantly of the Lord re-teaching me,i am also reminded by Him,that i am called a son of God.Wow! As unworthy i know i am,He(the Father)bestows upon me that honor. He is making me a work of His hands.Does this mean that i am super spiritual? Absolutely not.Two things that i see in my life,#1...i once thought i sought Him,but know He loved me first. He knew me before i was in my mothers womb.(JEREMIAH CHAPTER 1:VERSE 5.)and Jeremiah 29:13.
1st John chapter 3:verse 1-3.....Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us,that we should be called sons of God:therefore the world knoweth us not,because it knew him not. Beloved ,now are we the sons of God,and it doth not yet appear what we shall be:but we know that,when he shall yet appear,we shall be like him:for we shall see Him as He is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself,even as he is pure.In verse 25 of the 2nd chapter of 1st john...it is told to us as a promise we have ,is that we have eternal life.This is a short message,but powerful ,in that (HE) CHRIST IS ASSURING me that i have eternal life and i am a son of God.As He is teaching me about my conduct in my Christian walk.MY PRAYER: HEAVENLY FATHER,draw all men to you.Show them how great it will be to be welcomed into the kingdom of God.Amen.

THAT THING WE CALL LOVE.

The Lord is
 teaching me real love. Well it goes against the flesh.
This is not love as the carnal mind knows it to be.It is the love that is inherent with the Lord himself.It is who he is,not just something he exhibits now and then.We ,when walking in the Spirit can exhibit love as well. But when in the flesh,that thing we call love,is not really love at all.(In this blog i am referring to the 4th chapter of the book of 1st John.)Many good things in this chapter. One big lessons it teaches us is,that Love is not just something God exhibits every now and then ,but it is who He is. It is inherent in Him.I have realized lately,that being Christ like is inherent in me.It is who i truly am. Yet i am also of the flesh.God is struggling with me to keep me walking in the Spirit.I love Him for doing this.Vs 8 of the 5th chapter(1st JN) says He that loveth not,knoweth not God.vs.10,Herein is love,not that we loved God,but that he loved us,and sent His son to be the propitiation for our sins.Propitiation?
What is that?....well....it is also called expiation,the act of appeasing a diety,thus incurring devine favor,or avoiding devine retribution.In verse 11 it says "beloved if God so loved us,we ought also to love one another.This lesson from the Lord is evident in the book of 1st John,chapter 4:verses 7 through 21. Much more can be said of this,but....i will Pray at this point.{MY PRAYER}HEAVENLY FATHER,DRAW ALL MEN TO YOU. Then place within their hearts the passion and desire to study your Word.Then to pray for one another.In Jesus name i ask these things,AMEN.

INSTEAD OF MY FLESH.

BEING LED BY THE SPIRIT WE ARE NOT UNDER THE LAW.
IT'S VERY HARD TO DO BATTLE WITH OUR FLESH. ONCE WE GET OVER OURSELVES,THE SPIRIT OF GOD CAN ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING WITH US. CHRISTIAN CHARACTER IS PRODUCED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT,NOT BY OUR OWN EFFORT.THE FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT ARE LISTED GALATIANS CHAPTER 5:VERSE 22. VERSE 19 THRU 21 IS THE LIST OF THE WORKS OF THE FLESH. THIS IS VERY HEAVY STUFF. PEOPLE MAY GIVE YOU ADVICE ON HOW EASY IT IS TO DEFEAT THE FLESH,BUT TRUST ME IT IS NOT EASY UNLESS YOU PRAY WITHOUT CEASING,AND READ THE BIBLE. IN ONE CASE YOU ARE TALKING TO GOD,AND IN THE OTHER HE IS TALKING TO YOU.DO NOT LET YOUR HEART CONDEMN YOU,REMEMBER,GOD IS GREATER THAN YOUR HEART.DO NOT WAIT UNTIL TROUBLE IN THE FLESH ARRIVES,TO GET HELP. COVER YOURSELF IN THE SPIRIT,SO YOU CAN WITHSTAND THE INCOMING ASSAULT. A WARNING I MUST GIVE......SOMETIMES FOR SOME PEOPLE ITS JUST EASIER AND LESS TROUBLE IF YOU JUST LIVE IN THE FLESH,AND IGNORE THE POWER GOD THAT HAS THE POWER TO PROTECT YOU.ANOTHER NOTE: WAY TO MUCH WORLDLY INFLUENCE IN CHURCHES TODAY.I AM PRETTY SURE THE SCRIPTURE REFERS TO IT AS IDOLATRY. BUT THERE ARE ALSO MANY SPIRIT FILLED CHRISTIANS.REMEMBER CHAPTER 6 OF GALATIANS VERSE 7. BE NOT DECEIVED : FOR WHATSOEVER A MAN SOWETH,THAT SHALL HE ALSO REAP.SOW TO THE SPIRIT,AND NOT TO THE FLESH.MY HEAVENLY FATHER,HELP ME FEED YOUR SPIRIT THAT LIVES IN ME,INSTEAD OF MY FLESH.AMEN.

SOMEONE FOUND ME,WHEN I WAS LOOKING FOR SOMETHING ELSE.

IN LATE 1964,AND EARLY 1965,I WAS A KID LOOKING FOR A HOME. LITTLE DID I KNOW THAT SOMEONE WOULD FIND ME. YES I DID FINED A HOME,BUT SOMETHING THAT WOULD MEAN MORE AND LAST FOR ETERNITY FOUND ME. I WENT TO CHURCH ONE NIGHT BY MYSELF,LISTENED TO MANY TESTIMONIES FROM A SMALL BAPTIST CHURCH,AND WENT HOME ,TO THE LATRINE,KNELT DOWN AND ASKED JESUS TO SAVE ME.HE DID.RIGHT THERE ON BOTH MY KNEES,OVER THE TOILET SEAT,CHRIST CAME INTO THIS LITTLE BOYS HEART.A FEW VERSES FROM AN UNCLE,LATE AT NIGHT IN HIS LIVING ROOM,AND I TRUSTED JESUS WITH MY SOUL.(JOHN CHAPTER 14:VERSES 1 THROUGH 6.THEY BEGAN WITH ,LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED.ENDED WITH ,I AM THE WAY THE TRUTH ,AND THE LIFE.NO MAN COMES TO THE FATHER ,BUT MY ME.(JESUS) MY:PRAYER...HEAVENLY FATHER,DRAW ALL MEN TO YOU.CONVICT OF ALL SIN,SO WE MAY REPENT AND LIVE A SPIRIT FILLED LIFE.AMEN.

VAIN CONFIDENCE.....AND THOSE I DO NOT.

Pastors transgressed,Priest never ask.....where is the Lord,prophets prophesied by Baal and walked after things that do not profit.Yet the Lord promised to plead with their children,and children's children.(JEREMIAH CHAPTER 2:VERSES 8&9)
Verse 11 says ...Hath a nation changed their gods,which are yet no gods? but my people have changed their glory for that which does not profit.
I must say at this point,i shutter to think of the things i have heard that men have said,in the face of death.Some claiming to be able to strike a deal with the devil.Others who seem to be demon possessed and out of control as they perished.Others who knowing their fate(death) cried out in anguish and pain to be delivered from the flames they felt.I knew these people i just mentioned.Its a horrible thought to wait till its to late to be saved.Yet there are many in this world ,that have been saved,that have turned away from the true God that covered their sin with His blood.Which are you? Are you Judah in the book of Jeremiah? Or The Galatians in the New testament time? Or are you atheist,agnostic,or just plain rejecting Christ? Do not have vain confidence! Producing no results from what you believe.This is what the tribe of Judah was doing.This is what comes from the lives of unbelievers.They are conceited.arrogant.They are narcissistic,all about themselves.God is pleading for mankind to repent.Do not be like those i just mentioned.By the way...those people  mentioned.. above in my past,scoffed,and laughed at my faith.Oh if they were just still with us.My Prayer: Dear heavenly Father,my heart troubles me over the lost souls,i have seen in my life,pass on.Give me  a desire to see souls saved,and brethren come back,to sound doctrine of Faith.Forgive me my sins,those i know about and those i do not.IN JESUS NAME I ASK THESE THINGS.AMEN.SO(SO BE IT)

WHEN SITUATIONS COMPASS ME...I MUST BE ON HIS SIDE.

The Preist said not,Where is the Lord? And they that handle the law knew me not:the pastors also transgressed against me,and the prophets prophesied by Baal,and walked after things that do not profit.Wherefore I will yet plead with you,saith the Lord,and with your children's children will i plead.This scripture coming from the book of Jeremiah chapter 2:verses 8 and 9.
The point here from me is.....The Lord must be regarded.Always.
Oh how the Lord has pleaded with me so many times. And i hear him and it humbles me so much. My Heavenly Father ...as powerful as He is....loves this man.(me)And in this case in the book of Jeremiah,He was speaking to Israel,but because i have inherent Faith in Him,i am rewarded with the same promises.He is my Father,my Holy Heavenly Father and i love Him so very much.When situations compass me,or some people seem to be against me,i have the one and only supreme being on my side. I must make sure i am on His side.So in America we see so many embracing Islam,a god of Baal,Yet the one real God,still pleads with them to come to Him. Please do. Do not waste your time on silly worshiping rituals of Baal type gods that do not exist. Continue on reading Jeremiah chapter 2:verses 10 thru 13.The entire chapter 2 of Jeremiah was concerning a very important word or act.That act is called backsliding. If you know not God thru Christ,come to Him.
If He knows you,and you Him...come home.The world must reject all false gods,and come to Christ.
My prayer:Heavenly Father draw all mankind to you.Convict of sin.
