A TOUGH YEAR.

Good early morning. Sorry to not have written a blog in a while.
But iv'e been extremely busy starting a new Sunday School,helping take care of old and new church business. Something of which i am not use to doing. Only the Sunday school part has my heart. As i wonder through the issues of church business i learn many lessons. Number  one is that i do not like it. Yet someone has to do it. I think from now on i will place a time limit on my involvement of it all. Why? Well try this.....Its much like being a pastor regardless of your desires. Small churches over the past 40 some odd years had been unable to work out the differences they experience. Sadly i find such things as hard headedness, pride,ignorance, hatefulness,competition,to be rampant in so many cases. All of this is practiced by Pastors, poor teachers, people involved in music, in church functions etc. I've seen neglect of church property, bad doctrine,including dropping Sunday School members not willing to commit to anything except their own interest.
Now,all of these things are warned about in scripture. They just simply must be dealt with. How? Start with loving one another just like the Scripture teaches. Not just in lip service. Then move over to do not be in competition with each other. Then move over to do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Remember this important fact. You cannot control others treatment of you  but you can control your treatment of them. Oh my goodness,i recall a comment a dear friend made to me while we were in business together years ago. He said  the world would be a great place to live if it were not for people. I'm not so sure. People make up our lives. We must remember God Himself created us all. Therefore He loves us all. Especially those of the Faith. Those that place their trust in and rely on Jesus Christ as their redeemer.When things seem to overload....take it to Jesus. Read His word to you. The Holy Bible.
Then speak with Him....its called Prayer. He will hear your troubles,and like the song says...He will answer bye and bye. If your not a believer, one of the elect, then by all means you must repent of sin and be born again.This is urgent. You are leaving this world one day,one way or the other. Give Christ your life now. Pay no attention to bickerings in churches. Unless you are involved. Then get uninvolved. Battlelings in church are not worth the pain it inflicts.  Respond to God's call on your life,and let no man hinder it. Do not boast, or be arrogant. But stand firm, and be protected by tghe mighty right hand of Jesus. I am in such a situation as that right now. I feel i want to Quit. I feel like these folks are not worthy of my hard work and dedication. But guess what, God says He died for them and rose again for them, and He will decide what to do with me. Jonah did not feel the people of Nineva were worth saving. But God did. Yes it took a miracle to get that Job done, but the lesson for us is before we just Quit....Take it to the Lord. I'd like to ring some of these professing Christians neck, but i cannot. Tell ya what i will do.
Lord i have had enough. This all is your battle, not mine. I never created the world or universe,or people or even myself. You did. I know i am on a close enough footing with you, that i can come boldly to the throne of grace and ask for your help. You handle it.Anyone else out there feeling the same way, help them Lord.
