Here we are again. Isaiah chapter 65 beginning with verse 5 and 6.
The jews were following other idols. Had made vows to them. Vows to idols. They were telling the lord and others to stay away from them because they were much better than them, and more righteous.
Ever had smoke run up your nostrils? Imagine the face you would make. God said these sins by His people were like a fire that burns all day. I will remind you, this is our creator, and for me and others He is my Lord. By reading and studying the Holy Bible i begin to understand this Lord i love more than my family and friends. The lord that has shown me in his word and in my recent life that to follow Him take up my cross, will cost me respect, love, and understanding. Back to the scripture.
In verse 6 the Lord makes it very clear He has had enough. He will not keep silent but will repay. Oh me, in verse 7 He is so disgusted
that He will make them pay for their fathers sins before them.
Idolatry and sin is what they are guilty of, all the way back to their fathers. Okay so in verse 8-12 of the 65th chapter the Lord decides
to spare the faithful remnant. He describes them as a cluster of grapes. Oh my goodness,my Father watches, judges, then remembers all of His elect, even to this modern day.
I have to mention right here something that broke my heart today.
A person i love, i am not sure if they truly are born again, and no matter what they have done to me, it rips my heart to think ....hell
awaits them. Hell prepared to swallow them up. Oh God,but that i
can stop that for them. God says no i have not that ability.Who do you know that does not pass muster on eternity?
Think about it tonight while you try to sleep. Someone you love
,maybe in your household, your spouse, your children.
Obviously if we can sleep well maybe we are not praying enough.
Think on this. Long before they close the casket lid on someone,if they were not written in the lambs book of life, they are in Hell.
It is a scary thing to fall into the hands of a living God. I believe the apostle Paul said that. I say yet it is a glorious victorious thing to be a believer trusting in Christ and to be held in His outstretched hands forever. What joy and peace comes when a believer passes from this sinful world to Heaven in the presence of Christ.
Listen up...in the 12th verse God told those who rejected Him,and raised their fist in His face, and scoffed Him,and told Him they were better than Him, that He (the Lord) was going to destine them for the sword. He said it was because when He called they did not answer, when He spoke, they did not listen or obey. But they did what was evil in God's eyes, and they chose what God did not delight in.
vs 13,He said His servants shall eat but they shall be hungry. His servants shall drink, but the lost shall be thirsty. Behold...Look....watch....God said His servants, the elect, the forgiven, shall rejoice, but the lost shall be put to shame.
vs 14...The Lord's servants shall sing for joy of heart, but the lost and rebellious shall cry out for pin and sorrow of heart and shall wail and howl for anguish, vexation, and breaking of spirit.
The closing verses of this chapter declare the end time and the awesome events and lives that true believers will have.
Listen, i am not afraid i might rock someones boat, make them doubt their salvation, so what about it. Are you playing church, acting out like a believer? Trust me, if your not sure, get on your knees cry out to God. Tell Him to save you,and then repent of your sins, everyday all day. Then trust the Holy Spirit to keep you. God is faithful the Bible says to do the things for you He promised. I cannot save you, church alone can not save you, but after you receive salvation. The local church Body is where you need to be. This chapter 65 of the book of Isaiah is only one of tons of chapters that God uses to reach out to you. He's at the door knocking right now. He can change your destiny for you, right now. Do it.....Just do it. I pray for you. We must all do this! Amen.
