I live in the Past.

Good evening, tonight I wish to write about Solomon a king of Israel. An extremely intelligent king, and a wise one. Ecclesiastes chapter 1: verse 15 tells us that Solomon was frustrated  when he discovered that book learning doesn't ....does not , solve all the puzzles of life.

Man can fly to the moon, but the flight of a bee defies all known laws of  aerodynamics.

Diseases like tuberculosis and polio

Have been controlled, but the common cold is still unconquered. 

This king, Solomon...investigated affluence,prestige, Schooling, Sex etc and yet he concluded it was vanity.

Here is an example. But no hope until you inject CHRIST. 

Worldly joy is fleeting,vanity itself.

Vain the dazzling brightness, Vain the stores of wealth .

Vain the pomp and glory,only thou canst give.

Peace and satisfaction  while on earth we live. There is none Lord Jesus,there is none like Thee.

For the soul that thirsteth, there is none like Thee. ( author unknown)

I insist on saying that it is so sad, that generation after generation chases the dream of money, and fame.

Yet when they get it it's not enough....not ever enough. We ruin our lives, our loves , our marriages, everything, chasing stuff. Stop it. We need to and must work, but do not go over board. Do not set your hearts upon riches.   My prayer: Heavenly Father, I pray that someone reading this, before they lose what's really important, they reverse course....REPENT , so things in their life will heal, and real joy returns.
