Good morning to all who are reading. I'm doing a study on pruning. The book of St. John chapter 15. As usual there is much more than meets the eye. Of course pruning is pretty obviously cleaning something up. Could be said to be cleaning something out. In this chapter Jesus speaks in an agricultural manner. Remember to keep in context. Agriculture was very big in this area of the world. So I'm going to introduce us to this concept again because it never has changed,and never will. It's about fruit bearing the old way, and fruit bearing the new way. It should make you think. If u are a true believer, are u bearing fruit, and how? In this modern age, how is it done? Are you reaching people,and how?
I'm asking this twice, because that is probably what has changed over the years. Just a hint, you can use technology to assist in the reaching of people. Let me caution that technology and church worship should go hand-in-hand. Do not let technology stop you In going to church and worshipping with fellow believers. Just a warning that the Bible teaches not to forsake yourself from assembling as the manner of some is. Again good morning, time will not permit me to spend much time blogging today because of church. Go to church this morning. And tonight. Get hungry to hear the word of God in person. Pick a bible-believing church. So much has watered down today in the preaching and teaching. But go. Go any way. Amen.
