I should have remembered.

There is a generation that curseth their father,and does not bless their mother.There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes,and yet is not washed from their filthiness.There is a generation how lofty are their eyes!and their eye lids are lifted up.Proverbs chapter :30 verses 11,12,13. I cannot imagine the state of my heart being so arrogant before the Lord. I cannot imagine thinking more of myself that i should.Everything i have,everything i will ever be i owe to Christ.Proverbs chapter 30 verse 32. If thou has done foolishly in lifting up thyself,or if thou hast thought evil,lay thine hand upon thine mouth. Man i should have remembered that plenty of times.
