Why Not.

I am a Republican... but i need to explain something very basic. Social Security is not a government hand out. Some today would love to do that and they probably do. It is our money we paid in for many years and the Government used it. Used it for Whatever.Our money was to draw interest over all these years to help not only individuals,but to keep another disaster from happening like in the Great Depression. Yes S/S HAS BEEN ABUSED HORRIBLY.But its my money.Its what I put in it.So reform the waste,but the press and politicians can stop making the word entitlement an ugly word.Social Security is the only savings account i know of where some people seem to act like its the Governments money.It is still the best savings account ever devised. Just because it is abused....does not mean it is bad. Its the abusers we should look at.Young people should work,but don't let anyone do away with social security.If you are lucky enough live long,then you will want your money. God bless. Footnote:Our neighbors in south america and other parts of the world,should look at helping their people in this way.With all our Jobs going there.....why not!
